Journalists really ought to spend some quality time hanging out with the hooligans; anyone caught filming usually ends up losing their phone. I learned that lesson a long time ago.
Or you lose the phone and then get a beating too ☕

And honestly, if they tried filming a professor, he'd probably just start handing out failing grades...

Anthony Jackson2 said:So what exactly is the plan here—everyone just hides in their holes like bugs and waits for their own bacteria to finish them off? We’re living in a country that doesn't have a single long-term strategy beyond next month, banking entirely on the hope that this thing just vanishes into thin air...

Seriously, you tell me: what does the government actually do if this isn't just some seasonal thing that disappears by mid-February? How do they plan to fund 15 million people for an entire year?

Honestly, I’m going to start deleting these kinds of brainless posts on Reddit—I know human stupidity is infinite, but my patience for dealing with it definitely isn't.

Anthony Jackson2 last week ☕

What to be Titus should people do now? Hide in holes like bugs and skip Misa? ☕

Elizabeth Mendoza said:Why are the shops still running? Because for a regular person, grabbing something to eat is way more important than staring at a crisis and praying to some imaginary figure born from one foolish woman's excuse to her husband, which somehow turned into an entire religion.

Maybe it’s also because you have to sanitize your hands at the entrance of most Walmarts and they only let small groups in, whereas every single Dar, Mary, and Lucy who thinks fighting a virus with garlic and moonshine is a valid strategy would swarm right into a church. You'd end up with a bunch of low-IQ idiots packed into a tight space, creating a total hotspot.

Elizabeth Mendoza said:Come on, you Catholics, go ahead and play the victim—it’s what you guys do best.

It’s honestly impressive how you can't actually hold a conversation without immediately resorting to cheap insults... and then you have the nerve to call someone else names right after. 🙏

I guess I'm siding with restlesssurfer97 and wiredrider9 on this one...🤣

Anthony Jackson2 said:Right—because the poor police department had no clue there was a Mass going on. It’s funny how everyone else seemed to know.

It’s the exact same story as that mediocre "crusader" group—you can only imagine if anyone else tried to get permission to have 100 people causing a scene in the middle of the street. But sure, the Church can do it because laws don't apply to them. Clearly not in this case, either.

Wait, so are you actually pro-protest or not? I can't keep track of your stance anymore.
Weren't you the one preaching about freedom of movement and assembly? The one slamming Dragan Bozinovic for all those restrictions?

Or are you only okay with gatherings as long as they aren't in churches? How does that logic work?
Offside Chat Archives (2014-2021) in Soccer ·
I'm all for banning Mass, just like I said before I’m in favor of banning public gatherings until things settle down. Look, I'm going by my professional training here—if I end up being wrong, then I'm wrong, and I won't be too proud to admit it...

I’m also all for making a list of those people who spend their whole lives hitting up Sunday service, hosting backyard BBQs, and hitting the local pubs... just so when they actually get sick, we can put them at the very bottom of the priority list for hospital admissions.

I honestly despise journalists from the bottom of my soul. I used to write like an amateur, but now I see they’re all just spineless cowards who lack the guts to actually dig into anything meaningful. Instead, they just go after the little guy and pick topics designed to trigger people for clicks. Take that situation where Mamara insulted Sips—those reporters jumped right on it, grabbed their paycheck, and suddenly everyone forgot all about it. Then there was that Dalmosica woman who got fired, and not one of those pathetic hacks even bothered to write a single word about her losing her job. People are being persecuted and getting canned left and right, yet none of these vultures dare to say a damn thing...

Bandara assaults that journalist, and what happens? Absolutely nothing. Not a single word from anyone. Let's all go back to being outraged by everything else... Meanwhile, they film Kujundzicu's house from the street, he gets jumped, and nobody cares. How much noise was actually made about that?

Alright Church, let’s get moving! Let’s go crash the party and make some serious waves...

Elizabeth Mendoza said:All they really needed to do was snap some decent photos from the outside, let the local authorities know there was a mass going on, and then just put out a public notice about where and when it happened. Everything else is just pure clickbait.

And nobody is arguing against that. You wait for the service to end, film everything from the exterior, and you're done. If you're planning on filming someone in their car, you just say, "Excuse me, I'm a reporter, mind if I film you?" Or you just wait for them to step out. It's simple, and nobody would give you a hard time about it.

If you’re looking for a confrontation, this is how you get it—by barging in and filming people inside their churches like you're hunting for witches.
There's always a way to handle things like a decent human being... 🤷

ruggedjackal46 said:The Church isn't some private club or a backyard gathering; it’s a public institution. If they're still holding services, they're essentially carrying out activities that pose a risk to public safety and fly in the face of current regulations. This isn't something the Church can just tuck away behind "closed doors"—it’s news, plain and simple, and the media really should be reporting on it. Now, maybe this specific situation isn't quite a catastrophe yet, but let's be honest: for far too long, clergy in this country have acted like they're somehow untouchable and exist entirely outside the rules everyone else has to follow.

🤣

Elizabeth Mendoza said:Look, I honestly don't mind being on camera at all. Every single day, hundreds of people end up on the news just by pure coincidence because someone is out there filming a segment or doing an interview and bystanders get caught in the frame.

The real issue here is that those religious extremists held their mass despite all the gathering bans. They clearly didn't want the whole country to witness their disgrace🤷. If it had been a normal Easter Sunday and reporters had shown up to grab quotes, that exact same guy would have happily stepped right up to the camera to talk all about Easter🤷

I'm explaining this to you yet again, but you just keep digging your heels in and pushing these ridiculous arguments...

Anyone can film you while you're out on the road or in a public alleyway. But once you're inside your own private car, nobody has the right to record you—not in your house, and not even in church... Yet here you go again, lashing out at everyone and acting like some kind of victim just because you got backed into a corner. Instead of just admitting you messed up, you'd rather play the tough guy. You're honestly no different from the rest of them...

Elizabeth Mendoza said:So what’s even the issue here? They were filming right on the street and they followed every single law to a T.

The thing is, he didn't realize he was dealing with a journalist, nor did he expect his face to be blurred out later. You don't just show up, claim you're a reporter, and then act surprised when people aren't okay with being filmed. It’s like if I walked around my neighborhood waving a gun around and then acted shocked when someone tackled me—just because I'm an undercover cop doesn't mean I can ignore basic protocol. You don't film everything without warning, and you definitely don't flash a weapon without notice. You turn the camera on only after explaining the who and the why.

Elizabeth Mendoza said:Look, anyone can film you when you're out in public.

So a church is considered a public space now?
Is your own car a public space too?

That's exactly why they blurred out the license plates and faces... because it's not actually legal.

So you're basically just proving you're some random little hothead. People can record you wherever you go, yet you're terrified of a camera in someone else's hand... 😵

You guys sure have plenty of arguments today 🤣

They're filming your every move, so why wouldn't they film on private property too? And then on the flip side, it's all "I don't want the President following meeeee, ahhh Boone won't let me live!" 🤣

Just pick a side and decide what you actually stand for—is it okay to film everything everywhere, or isn't it? Is it okay to follow people everywhere, or isn't it? Are you for freedom of movement and gathering, or aren't you?

You're struggling so hard 🤣 but honestly, what else can you expect from a bunch of Democrats ☕

Let's just go to COVID vs Counter-protesters at Hackles to settle this once and for all! Where is Joe when you actually need him to step up and lead?

Anthony Jackson2 said:Who was the guy physically attacking that woman at church during Easter? 🍿

Total communists, the lot of them ☕

Nice try, though—classic Catholic move: "it's always someone else's fault" ☕

If someone barges onto my private property with a phone out, they’re getting a boot to the backside. Same goes for anyone filming me while I'm driving—they'd get the same treatment.

But whatever, we've clearly figured out what's bothering you. ☕
You seem tense; maybe just relax a little.

Where are all those fierce female journalists, Walter, Grandma, and the Raptors when there's a backroom deal happening or someone's embezzling millions from the budget or sports clubs? You don't see them storming into Congress or fancy Villas near Central Park.

They aren't out in the fields, they aren't in the bars, they aren't in Congress, and they certainly won't be in Monticello next month if there's some rally for our beloved Leader. I bet even you'll show up to greet him. ☕

Aren't you basically advocating for total freedom of movement and socializing? I mean, you wouldn't lift a finger to stop anyone over some virus that's arguably no worse than the flu.
Once again, we get a front-row seat to the blatant hypocrisy of the Leftists. Honestly, we shouldn't be surprised at this point. ☕

"Leviticus: Let people hang out and socialize! Screw the Republican Stopper, Fairy, and that police state Boise! Why are they targeting people in fields and homes? Just let everyone do whatever they want!

Leviticus: Screw those priests, they're just breaking the rules by gathering in churches—it spreads the virus, and they won't listen to Stopper, they just ignore the laws."

Ozark is actually pretty good if you're looking for something to watch.
I also found Six, Jack Ryan, and the Nelose startup series over on Amazon...
those Nelose shows are worth a shot.

Season three is absolutely brutal.

And Joe Exotic is pretty much the whole show. I'm actually gearing up to give it another watch...
🎉

Thanks Paul Martinez73, but I am certainly not celebrating Easter with some guy who acts like he's his own father...

Not really my thing; they feel a bit too much like a soap opera to me. Those two just mow down everyone in sight and nobody seems to notice, they've probably killed more people than Chuck Norris, and the whole plot is just way too predictable.

Doesn't matter, he still loves you ☕

But honestly, journalists are the absolute bottom of the barrel in this country. These two were raiding churches today. Look, if there's a ban, there's a ban—you don't need to turn it into some massive spectacle by storming in and filming people. They’d be perfectly fine doing their actual jobs when it comes to guys like Andrej Plenković, Milan Bandić, Zdravko Mamić, and the rest of that crowd that costs this nation everything. But the second those guys challenge them, they turn into the biggest cowards on the planet. Yet, when it's time to film people on the streets or in churches and hunt down "hooligans," suddenly they're all brave, hiding behind "journalistic integrity" and solidarity.

Whenever a priest or some random passerby insults a reporter, every media outlet jumps on the scandal and calls the police, or gets Grandma, Veljko, Marko Dvornik, and Severina involved.
But when Mamić and Bandić insult a colleague, everyone acts like a total coward, just smiling and swallowing whatever garbage they're fed, and we never see anyone actually hold them accountable.

Happy Easter, everyone! Wishing Carlos and Amanda Evans2 a great one too ☕

Money Heist is alright; the first season was actually great, but everything after that just gets worse and way too predictable.
I'm mostly sticking to Fargo and Peaky Blinders... Ozark's first season wasn't bad either ☕

They aren't going to give the authority to track Plenković and his little communist alliance, but what do you guys think about this?
Apple and Google promise they won't violate user privacy, they'll just follow you around a little bit. It’s not like they aren't doing it already, but hey, at least now you'll get a notification...

What is this actually going to look like? Am I sitting on the couch with my mother-in-law and suddenly get a ping saying someone nearby is infected?
And I'll just get a notification saying "you were in contact with an infected person once, somewhere," so it's just going to be pure panic... 🤣

But they claim it's all for our own good and they'll respect our privacy 🤣
