Are you absolutely certain it doesn't work for private accounts? I haven't actually tested it myself, but looking through the settings, it seems like it might 🤔
I’ve always wondered how these transactions are actually categorized when you send money from a credit card directly to a private account. Is it processed as a standard POS transaction—meaning no fees—or does it count as a cash advance? If it really functions like a POS sale, that’s a massive win, though I have my doubts. Is it possible this is just one of those loopholes the big banks haven't even realized they need to plug yet?
On a similar note, services like PayPal offer all sorts of ways to move money via credit, including transfers to personal accounts. However, I haven't quite had the chance to test whether they hit you with extra surcharges when you're essentially paying yourself. 🤣
Does anyone know if it’s actually possible to send a certified letter via poste restante—basically, having it held at a specific post office of my choosing for pickup? Since poste restante requires a signature upon collection, I’m wondering how feasible or even logical it would be to request that?
wiredviper, let me lay this out for you one more time...
Look, there is absolutely nothing wrong with saying "Emma is a little person." The issue arises when people constantly lean into that label, highlighting her disability as if it were her defining trait, even though everyone knows her actual name. It’s just incredibly tacky to write things like "the little person is going to the bathroom," or "the heavy little person, Brandon and Soraya are having dinner at the table"—just constant references to it. At this point, her disability has been turned into a sort of nickname. Why? What is the motivation behind wanting to emphasize someone's handicap like that if you already know who they are? And then, to top it all off, someone drops a tasteless joke—which, let's face it, is way too easy to make given that terminology—and suddenly everything descends into total chaos. That is the exact reason we have told every single person on this forum a thousand times over: stop using that term. There is simply no reason for it.
The next logical step would be calling Nirmal a Muslim, referring to Duško Srbin as a Mexican, or calling Brandon a gay man. While none of those labels are inherently offensive, using them as nicknames for housemates in a discussion like this is profoundly distasteful.
And that is truly the heart of the matter.
As for that Facebook link you posted, it was removed ages ago because we don't want to loop back to the same argument a hundred times or have people nitpicking moderation decisions when the stance has already been made clear. So, please don't take it personally.

First off, why feel the need to highlight someone's medical condition if you already know their name? Isn't that a little distasteful?
Secondly, the real reason we "banned" that specific term on this subforum is because it was being used primarily to mock people. There were all these discriminatory jokes and jabs about little people floating around, and frankly, it was pretty unpleasant to read. On top of that, the phrase itself is highly controversial. Even the host faced backlash from the media when she made a joke upon entering the house by saying, "I feel like Snow White" (clearly nodding to "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"). Many pointed out that "person of short stature" is a much more respectful way to put it. Ultimately, both Emma and Milan introduced themselves that way when they entered the house, and we should respect their own choice.

I honestly wouldn't want to get caught up in those Facebook groups about little people that you mentioned during the discussions.
Amy Kelly said:I once had to go to Perkov's clinic for a minor procedure on my cheek (from the outside 😲). So there I am, sitting in the chair, they wrap me up in some kind of medical drape, give me the local anesthetic, and suddenly, I’m surrounded by a bunch of kids in white lab coats. I just sit there in silence.🙄
Thank goodness they didn't try to perform the surgery entirely on their own.
About a year ago, I had a scalp biopsy done at Vinograd Hospital (never again, those damn med students ☕), and there they were—a group of five or six of them gathered around me. They administer the anesthesia, and then someone actually has to start working. This doctor goes, "Who wants to be the first to try?" ... and this one girl steps up, starts poking around my head, and completely messes things up... then the doctor comes over and starts yelling at her about what she did and why her hands are shaking so much 🤣 ... while I'm just sitting there in total shock thinking, what on earth is happening now 😲 ... and the other five students are asking, "Does it hurt?" ... I mean, come on, I'm under fucking anesthesia, of course it doesn't hurt 🙄 ... so eventually, the doctor takes over and finishes the job herself. Then, that very same group that just botched everything thirty seconds ago chimes in with another brilliant question: "Will the hair grow back normally here?" ... and the doctor replies, "Well, there might be a little scar." Ugh, it was already midday for me, so I asked, "What kind of scar?" ... and the doctor says, "Oh no, no, you won't have any scar at all, it will all heal up" 🤣 ... and thank God it did heal, but honestly, to hell with all those students 😬
Honestly, it drives me absolutely crazy too. I haven’t really had anyone staring at me naked before, but even just going to the dermatologist can be such an ordeal. Take a clinic over in downtown Chicago, for instance—there's always this massive crowd of college students hanging around, just loitering in the waiting area. So, there I am, trying to have a serious conversation with the doctor about a skin issue—nothing intimate, mind you—but then these kids start peering over, watching the exam, scribbling things down in their notebooks like they're watching a live performance... 🙄 It’s a total circus. You honestly just want to tell them all to get lost and find a different doctor where you can actually have some privacy. ☕
And honestly? It’s way too much. When you consider that 200g of Tang—enough to make 2.5L of drink according to the bottle (though you can easily make much more)—only costs about $4.25.
Tang should really be priced closer to what a 0.5L bottle of Coca Cola or Fanta goes for in that category, which is usually around 5-$2.00 🙂

I'm pretty sure these networks are definitely going to be showing it live. Even DSF should have it... 😉
CBS ESPN Deportes Fox Sports YouTube SuperSport 5 DSF Sport PBS 2 NTV+ Sport On-Line Polsat Sport Canada TV2 Sport 1 (HUN) Sport+ STV 2 Slovakia BBC Denmark BBC Norway BBC Sweden
The replays will definitely be available at: 01/27/08 - 18:00 - Sport.Ro 01/27/08 - 22:00 - TV2 Sport (Nor) 01/27/08 - 23:30 - TV2 Sport (Den)
And just like that, the battle for third place is kicking off... I’ve got my money on the German team; there's just something about them I find more appealing 😁
The German keeper pulling off 17 saves just ten minutes before the final whistle... I can't quite remember, how many total saves did Alilovic and the guys put up today? Was it three or four? 😂
