That one scene from the movie... honestly, I wouldn't even complain if it happened like that in real life.😁

Terry Wilson5 said:Barack, no... honestly, I remember reading this interview he gave on the anniversary of his passing—can't recall which magazine it was—but it actually made me feel pretty bad for him. If I remember correctly, he said something along the lines of having thousands of acquaintances but zero actual friends... until he realized all he really had was his wife and kid. Something like that.
When it comes to acting, though, he was easily one of the greatest to ever do it.

Terry Wilson5 said:Yeah... honestly, when I was just a kid, Charles Bailey2 was my absolute hero. But after reading up on him later, you realize what a deeply depressed guy he actually was. Even back in his Zelig days, he had that unmatched charisma—it was something else. I still find myself quoting his line about being nothing more than a decent guy with a beer in his hand every once in a while.

Any recommendations?

but damn, he really did a number on his sister 😬

This thread just wouldn't be complete without mentioning Sergio Leone's masterpiece—it doesn't matter if you love it or hate it, one of those characters basically defines the whole "larger than life" archetype.
It’s such a gem... did you know Clint Eastwood actually brought his own prop from home for this one? Just found it in his attic, I guess. It really puts into perspective the kind of shoestring budget they were working with while making one of the most iconic films in history.
Terry Wilson5 said:It’s such a very sad movie... you have this character who just loves her partner and wants to spend her whole life with him—but then, because of some twist of fate, she ends up marrying someone else entirely. She spends her whole life pining for the one she actually loved, eventually turning to alcohol to cope, and on top of all that, she gets beaten too... it's just heavy.
Such a sad movie.
wiredfox said:So, I was sitting around watching Halo: Combat Evolved the other day—and honestly, what a total disaster of a game.
Honestly, it’s not even that bad.
wiredfox said:I mean, I'm not exactly counting on that guy with wheels to pull anything off either.
Terry Wilson5 said:It’s got that death wish vibe—super grand, kind of like a classic Charles Bronson flick..

I got hooked by Bomb, and man, I have to say, it was a total bullseye. It's perfect if you're into deep dives regarding drug cartels, smuggling operations, and systemic corruption. It's based on true stories involving Pablo Escobar, the Medellin cartel, and the Cali cartel—plus the plot moves over to Mexico to follow Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, the notorious Mexican kingpin often called el Jefa de Jefes or The Godfather.
Basically, once you start, you won't be able to look away. 🙂

Most people have probably seen this one, but if you haven't, it absolutely needs to be next on your list.
I’ve always had a bit of a bias against George Clooney—just a little thing, really—but man, he really proves why he’s a star in this one. It's like watching Rodriguez and Tarantino team up for another masterpiece of pure chaos. And honestly? That twist is easily one of the biggest shocks in cinema history. Plus, that final line, "Let me ask you something... have you ever been in this bar before?" Well, I haven't! Why would I? Then you just see Clooney's face... absolute genius. This movie is all about those killer dialogues that Tarantino and Rodriguez do so well.
