Hey everyone, my mom just had a routine CT scan where they found what looks like a tumor on her left kidney. We already went to see a urologist at the local Community Health Center, and his advice was basically to get an MRI and then just wait six months before checking back in.
To be honest, that feels like an eternity to wait when you're worried about something potentially spreading, and we aren't willing to take that risk. I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a solid urologist for a second opinion? Maybe somewhere in Chicago or even just anywhere on the East Coast... any information at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I don't even know how many times this has happened now, but I am back to square one with these bed bug bites. I just got back from a ten-day trip to the coast, everything was going perfectly fine, and then suddenly I wake up to my legs looking absolutely horrific from all the biting... Since this thread is getting a bit old, does anyone have any recent experiences or specific products and techniques they’d recommend? I’ve been vacuuming like crazy, of course, and I even sprayed the bedroom with some Orkin, leaving the windows open for two days to air it out, but I honestly can't tell if it did anything at all. It feels like they're just waiting for me to fall asleep before they start feeding. My cat spends most of his day napping on the balcony and I don't really let him wander in much anymore, but clearly, these little monsters have already claimed the whole apartment for themselves...

I want to make sure they’re actually protected and won't just vanish into thin air... I was thinking about picking up an External hard drive, maybe around 1TB, specifically just for this purpose. So, I filed a formal complaint against the former owner of my car because they pulled a fast one on me regarding the mileage. It turns out I actually bought the vehicle from a dealership rather than the individual owner directly. The police have already forwarded my report over to the District Attorney's office, and now I'm just sitting here wondering how long the wheels are going to turn before anything actually happens. If the DA decides to move forward with the case—or whatever the legal term is for them actually taking it seriously—what does that actually mean for me? Like, what do I actually get out of all this effort?

If it’s an older model—say, two years or more—you’ll have no trouble finding one; every third-party vendor carries them. But if it's a newer connector type, you're going to have a hell of a time tracking one down since these generic replacements rarely stock the latest stuff.
Either way, just take the laptop (or the old charger) down to a local Best Buy or a computer repair shop and test it out there.

Does anyone know where I can pick up a replacement charger for a Dell Inspiron 15? Mine took a dive onto the kitchen tiles today, and now those two little pins are bent and totally mangled...
I dropped my laptop charger onto the tiles and ended up cracking and denting two of them... Where can I pick up an original Dell charger, or maybe just a decent third-party replacement that actually works?
