What should I get for a godparent gift at a Baptism? in Students & Teens ·
Change of plans... specifically regarding the gift..
I’m going to grab that chopper-style bike, $333 over at Best Buy, plus a camera—that'll run about 3,000—and some jewelry. I actually managed to get the total under 10,000. My mom finally agreed because she thinks the gift will "look substantial enough"

It's insane. Truly insane.
But whatever—I'm not the one footing the bill, and my mom (who is paying) won't shut up about wanting something more expensive... so what can I do? She's being stubborn..

Anyway, here's my recommendation for everyone else: check out this bike, or maybe an iPhone..

Man, this is just straight-up nonsense... how am I even supposed to appeal an injustice like this? Like, what's the point—do they just strip away the points I earned unfairly? I bet even the person who graded me has a supervisor breathing down their neck. I want them held accountable!
I've actually got the proof to show it wasn't fair.

hmm... sorry, but as soon as I read a post that actually shows some intelligence, I just assume it wasn't written by a woman.. 🙈

You know what they say about guys with big hands..?

I mean—just wait until that strike expires. Surely you can hold it together until the 2.5th? 🙂

It’s not like I ignored anything—far from it. I’ve actually been the one warning others to resize their images and stack them better so they don't hog all the space—and then somehow *I'm* the one getting penalized for no reason!!
It isn't about the specific date; it's about the principle here.
I am honestly so sick of people taking their frustrations out on me for my entire damn life. Why am I being called an idiot?

I just want things to be fair.

Rules:
- Just keep the images small enough to fit in the palm of your hand—let's not get bogged down in specific dimensions 😉

I just want to point out that I was slapped with a 50-point penalty for posting oversized images... this is unheard of. I haven't ever posted anything larger than that before—I've been sharing photos here for a year now, and suddenly I'm getting hit with points?? It’s totally unfair!!
It isn't fair!
Some people are posting massive images and I'm the one actually trying to give them a heads-up, yet somehow I'm the one getting these ridiculous penalties!! It's just wrong!

I share these photos to help everyone out, and this is the thanks I get????

Such an injustice...

So, you can either toss me another 5 points for repeating myself, or be decent human beings and strip away those unfairly given 50 points!

Wait, I just realized what happened!!!
It’s totally unfair!!
I got docked 50 points because apparently my images were too huge—it says they aren't supposed to be bigger than a palm. But honestly? I never posted anything larger than a palm!!
And another thing—if I had actually been given a heads-up, I would have scrubbed all those silly photos immediately!

Oh, awesome.. ☕
Wait, are those points permanent..? They can't be... I mean, who actually...

Hey, I’m curious about something—I’ve been told I have about 45 points, but honestly, I have no clue where they came from or what they actually signify. Like, what’s the cap on these things? And if I somehow end up with way too many, is there any way to clear them out?

Also, who’s actually in charge of managing this stuff?

I tried digging through the forum rules, but maybe my eyes are just failing me because I couldn't find anything.

Thanks.
Anonymous said:Hey everyone... I was doing some digging on Google and ended up finding this forum... I’ve already scrolled through almost this entire thread 😬

So...

The first day of my last period was March 25th, but I had sex on March 11th

My period was supposed to start on April 22nd, so a couple days ago I tried a Clearblue test. It was four days after my expected date (though I didn't take it first thing in the morning, just later in the day) and it came back negative

Today is already the 6th day since I was due... I'm noticing some increased white discharge, and while I wouldn't call them "cramps," I am feeling a tiny bit of discomfort in my abdomen...

I'm wondering if that last time we had sex was actually right during ovulation or what?

Also... how reliable is the test I used?

When would be the best time to test again? Is it too early to try again today?

Thanks in advance

😘

OVULATION—unless you know exactly when you ovulated, we can't really tell here on the forum. The general rule is fourteen days before your next period starts, but honestly, plenty of women don't ovulate then—they ovulate on totally different days. Believe me. I personally conceived just two days after my period ended, and my cycle is about 30 days long...

MORNING URINE—if the instructions say to use your first urine of the day, then you really should have waited until the morning to test. There are tests out there designed to work any time of day, but they tend to be a bit more expensive—like those $10 ones you find at CVS.

WHEN TO RE-TEST
—you can generally take a test at least 19 days after conception, but it really depends on the specific brand. Personally, I think you could probably test again today.

DISCHARGE—regarding that white discharge—it’s possible you might have a yeast infection, so maybe check in with your doctor.

ABDOMINAL PAIN—stomach cramps can be anything from pregnancy or PMS to just being stressed out...

TEST RELIABILITY—for the most part, all the major brands you find in the US are perfectly fine since they all work on the same basic principle.
Yeah, now I’m starting to worry that it hasn't actually been 19 days—which is totally possible. If we were sleeping through the middle of my cycle, I might have actually hit that 14-day mark based on some signs I noticed. Ugh... I'm not going to kid myself here. I'm heading to Planned Parenthood on Monday, and I'll probably just grab a test now too. Honestly, I am REALLY freaking out right now.

And you... yeah, don't let autosuggestion start manufacturing symptoms that aren't even there—though, personally, I think the things you're feeling are definitely real.
Dana Cooper6 said:Hmm... Don't sweat it, honey...😘 ... Wishing you were pregnant right now, huh?😘
I'm also waiting on results...

My breasts aren't acting like they usually do during my period in Pennsylvania... They haven't felt any better today, just a tiny bit sore, almost nothing at all... And normally, I'm dealing with a massive amount of symptoms for three days... so we'll see.. Usually, the pain is unbearable for ten days leading up to it...

I'm really curious if I'm going to get my period or if I'm actually going to be a mom...🙂

To be honest, I wouldn't even want to be pregnant right now—but if I am... what then? Seriously, considering who the father might be, it's probably better if I'm not. It's just these breast pains that are driving me nuts.
I see you're dealing with the exact same thing... I don't know, maybe I need to read the test more carefully—it might be too early to tell. Either way, I'm heading straight to the OBGYN on Monday. No more messing around. This is getting too serious.
I don't know—honestly, my breasts have never been enlarged before, except during pregnancy, but now they definitely are... I'm going to run another test in about a week or so.
Maybe she’s just totally missing the signs—I don't know, maybe she's just being scatterbrained—but a test can't react to a hormone if it isn't there. Bottom line: you're pregnant.
I don't know. I wouldn't say I'm feeling lucky—but given everything I've learned from the godfather of dieting and where my life is at right now...
well..
