Help! I've got a problem. in Psychology ·
Alright, I get it. Now let the people who actually know what they're talking about weigh in. Quit poking the bear, you clearly don't have a clue how this game works.

Yeah🙂
I’m just thrilled to see we’ve got more "experts" in our midst...
Honestly, I feel a little better now..
It's good to know there are still some sane people left out there🎉

So, does this place have any off-topic subforums? I’m looking for those areas where provocation is basically part of the joke—the kind of chaos I was actually raised for. Look, nobody should take anything personally here, but I'm talking about those moments where I lay out a serious opinion only for someone to swoop in with some condescending bullshit or a direct insult. Then, to top it all off, they spend the rest of the week chasing me around the forum or trying to paint me as some idiot to everyone else.🙄
Honestly, I’m starting to feel a little awkward even speaking up here. It feels like if I don't align with everyone, I’m going to get dogpiled—and not even in a decent way, either. People just jump straight to calling me an idiot instead of actually debating the point. And yeah, look, I’m 17. But since when does having a few more years on someone mean they automatically win every argument? Age shouldn't be a shield against being told you're wrong.
Honestly, it’s kind of pathetic when people look down on young minds. They think they know better just because they've been around longer, but they're missing the point entirely.

Don't sweat it. You're doing fine 😘

Oh, thanks a lot.😘

Look, yesterday this would've been funny, but right now? Not really.😢
I guess we all have those moments where everything just hits the fan and you're basically out for the count...🙂

ruggedharbor95 said:How can you be so sure nobody agrees with the views you've posted? Maybe they do. But for someone to agree with everything you say, they'd practically have to follow you around the internet reading every single thing you write.

When you stumble upon a post you actually agree with, what's your move? Do you automatically click "Find more posts by..." that user? Or do you shoot them a DM or find some way to let them know you're on their side?

Or do you just not bother agreeing with anyone at all? 🙂

The reason is simple: I constantly get insulted by people here. Every once in a while, I’ll run into a thread I wouldn't normally touch, only to find people calling me stupid, arrogant, or rude.
It's getting exhausting because the number of people doing this keeps growing. It honestly leaves me feeling pretty drained. I know I'm not a bad person, and I certainly don't deserve to be intentionally provoked or, even worse, belittled just because of my age.😢
Too many people seem to have a problem with me, and I'm seeing zero positive vibes anywhere in sight.

Alright, I’m dragging myself together to write this slightly weird post with whatever energy I have left.
The thing is, I thought about making this a poll on Microsoft, but let’s be real—I wouldn’t get an answer anyway. People either ignore questions out of politeness or just stay silent for some other reason. So, here's the actual problem:
What is wrong with me?😕
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always had an opinion. I’ve always valued the truth, even when it sounds brutal or uncomfortable to hear.
The issue is that my take on things is almost always different from what 90% of the people around me think.
I’ve grown up, I'm finally moving past the puberty phase, but the problem hasn't gone away.
When I stumbled upon this forum, I honestly thought I might find some like-minded people since there are about 3,000 of us here, but nope. That hasn't happened.
In fact, every time I speak my mind, it just results in more people disliking me or disagreeing with me.
On top of that, I can be pretty explosive. I tend to post things in a really heated tone, and while I do apologize later, it doesn't exactly undo the damage once the words are out there. The bottom line is that even though I truly don't consider myself a bad person, I just can't seem to fit in. I’m just too different from everyone else, and it’s starting to actually hurt. It’s pushing me into a pretty dark hole.
I want to change, but I have no clue how, especially since I can't even figure out where I'm going wrong myself.🙂

Sorry if this is heavy.
Thanks in advance.🙂
Personally, my favorite people are the ones who take everything they’ve read, or heard from their mom’s "expert" opinion, and suddenly think they have addiction figured out—concluding exactly how people get their fix or claiming that smoking weed is just a gateway to heroin.🙄☕
A little actual science, some real research, and actually listening to the people living through it wouldn't hurt anyone's understanding or education...
I honestly think it would cut down on the number of self-proclaimed geniuses who read a few generic textbooks written by people who haven't the slightest clue what addiction is actually like, yet act like they're the smartest people in the room.☕

I don't deal with this personally, but my grandma and mom both have, and I know it’s been a nightmare for them lately.
Are they constantly dealing with those bladder issues and sipping on that Leck tea?🤔

Ooh, look at him trying to lecture me, auuuu... just acting like such a big shot.🙂🤣

Anyway, I don't bother with a maid; I hit up restaurants for lunch every single day. Sometimes, if I'm feeling lazy, I just call a private chef to whip something up for us. Money is meant to be spent and enjoyed, right? Isn't that how it works?

Don't worry, I'm perfectly healthy.

Auu, even if your teeth are fine now, you’ll be losing them soon enough because
you're out here hitting on some girl who happens to be a minor.😲
I can already see the headline in The New York Post:
"Local Recruit Harasses Underage Girl!"
Tomorrow:
Breaking News, front page of The New York Post:
"The Soldier's Confession: 'They wouldn't let me eat!'"

slylynx68 said:So, give me a breakdown here—how exactly did you get into canned goods? Is this some weird fetish you've got going on where you just get a kick out of anything in a tin? 😕

Man, what a disaster. You’re basically just a toothless old man with nothing left but dementia.🙂
Stop it, I can't stop crying.🙂

I thought we were talking about empty cans, but this... 😱

Anyway, just imagine the struggle he was dealing with..
That kind of resourcefulness only comes from being raised in America, serving in the US Army, and surviving on six meals a week..
Trying to open a can when you're totally helpless..
Yeah, right. Just imagine the tragedy: a can packed with premium pork stew, and he just can't get into it..
Give me a break...🙂

You’ve completely trashed your health—and your teeth are looking rough, too.🙂
Imagine how many times he had to drag himself back to the orthodontist for new bridges or dental work. I can just picture him sitting there, fuming: "Alright, fine. Now it’s my turn to get a little payback. I'm gonna sue. They're out here demanding blood from babies, the elderly, and regular people dying on operating tables, and here I am, having ruined my own teeth just because I couldn't stop snacking on canned goods. Real funny."

He grabbed that canned food the night after donating blood, and he's been eating nothing but pork chili every single day since.🙂

You guys are so pathetic and starving that you couldn't even finish a single can of food, just leaving it behind to scavenge the next day.😢

🙂

Believe me, I feel for you too..😢
Just picture some 220-pound guy struggling through every single day with one tiny can of something that tastes like literal 🤔rubber😲.
He’s out there hallucinating from hunger, giving his blood to help sick kids or the elderly, and they won't even let him eat?😲
GOD DAMN IT!! LITER AFTER LITER OF BLOOD!!!😲

It honestly blows my mind how he spent all his time just watching them stock the pantry...
I always assumed military training involved, you know, actual combat skills, but apparently not. We can all just pray to God that nobody decides to invade the US anytime soon, seeing as our soldiers and recruits seem way more interested in supervising food prep than anything else.😕
