Halo 2 ice cream in Miscellaneous ·
Anonymous said:There’s just never enough ice cream. 😁

Man, there is definitely way too little 😢, though I gotta say, this stuff is pretty tasty 🙂

Wait, where exactly on your body is that boil located?

But honestly, that’s probably not even the main point—I’m telling you, you really ought to go see a doctor... ☕

Arthur Garcia59 said:Are you actually sure about that?

Nope—I don't personally know a single film studies professor or anyone working in that field, so I can't really say for sure!🤷
That’s just my two cents, though—what would I even suggest he does?😬

Can't you just warm it up near a radiator or something? 🤷
I'm sitting on mine at home right now and it feels totally fine—honestly, I don't think it's ever felt cold to me, so I can't really give you much advice based on my own experience!
But hey, have you thought about grabbing a thin cushion? You know, those little ones they put on patio chairs outside at coffee shops? Maybe try sitting on one of those instead! 🙂

Are they just writing reviews? 🤔

honestly, I just think it's a little pricey

Personally, I thought the ice cream was delicious—I'd even go as far as saying it's one of the best flavors out there! But yeah, those little figures look exactly like this 🤮

So you're telling us you've actually developed stretch marks? 😕
Honestly, they can be such a pain because they don't just disappear overnight—though, if you're lucky, they do start to fade over time.
But hey, you can definitely get ahead of it! Using some good quality creams or lotions can really help prevent new ones from popping up. 🙂

I honestly just love all kinds of celebrations! 🙂
Art appraisals/valuations? in Classifieds ·
Douglas Reed7 said:Then go ahead and read the OP's actual post. It looks like it was written by a nervous dyslexic.

And then take a look at mine! Where exactly did I offend him or say anything wrong to trigger that kind of reaction? Look, I went through school for Social Sciences—so believe me when I say I have absolutely zero problem telling someone to get lost if they need it.

Oh, great! Let’s all just spend our time correcting spelling and grammar like we're back in a college seminar, shall we? Let's start a school—or maybe an online course—for trolling and chat management so we can drive away those few people who actually want to talk about art without being world-class experts... 🤣
I'm sure the moderators are totally sane since you never see them around here anyway...

Anyway, sending my best to all the mods out there, wherever they may be! 👋

Back to the topic at hand : why bother getting an appraisal for a picture if you aren't even looking to sell it? And seriously, why not just snap a photo of it so we can actually see what this "priceless" thing is supposed to be? Just because it looks old and has a fancy frame doesn't mean it's worth a fortune.

I'm genuinely curious here—is it actually possible that some painting of Mary and Baby Jesus in a gilded frame could really be worth more than some abstract piece painted by a local art student last year?😲
Flash Mob in Miscellaneous ·
I honestly don't think anyone would actually lie down on the ground in the middle of a rainstorm
you'd basically have to track down some die-hard Flash mob fanatics just to get them to try that kind of stunt
I’ll be the first to admit that my movie takes are purely subjective
I try to watch everything out there—really, I do!—and I make it a point never to dismiss any cinematic work prematurely

When I’m watching stuff on my own, I tend to split movies into two simple camps: "watchable" and "unwatchable." Honestly, that’s pretty much my entire criteria whenever someone asks me, "Hey, is this movie any good?"

To me, a "watchable" movie is one that actually manages to grab my attention and hold it for at least the first two-thirds of the runtime
On the flip side, if a movie is "unwatchable," it usually means I ended up nodding off because it just couldn't keep me engaged

I should also mention that there's a whole category of films that I think are strictly meant for watching with a group of people—which, in those cases, makes them "watchable"—whereas other movies are definitely things I’d rather "digest" solo...
And let's be real, there are certain films that I’d only ever recommend watching at a very specific time of day!
Jeans recommendations? in Fashion ·
Alright, I totally get where you're coming from 🙂
So, here’s my two cents—I’m definitely going to suggest Pepe Jeans to her. Honestly, they are easily the coolest ones out there right now—super trendy!—though I have heard a few girls mentioning they might not hold up as long as you'd hope... just something to keep in mind, I guess!

And hey, isn't there already a massive thread about denim on the fashion boards? I know this is technically a bit of a crossover from the general discussion area, but why not? 😕
That’s great! Honestly, though—it sounds a bit heavy, so maybe grab some professional advice just to be safe. 🙂 👋

crimsonsailor7 said:don't even start with that bitterness. there are seriously so many different brands, cuts, and colors out there now that you really don't have to fit into some specific body type just to wear denim...

and since you claim you aren't a fan, I guess it's just because you don't have the right assets to make them work ☕

but hey, Target actually has some decent jeans this season, super simple, straight-leg stuff, nothing too extra. luckily out of like twenty styles they have maybe four or five that aren't skinny jeans (which honestly make me want to gag)...

And out of every single one of those high-end designer labels, you’re actually suggesting she goes with Mango? Seriously? 🙄

Good grief...

I mean, come on—if you even sneeze too hard near their jeans, they basically fall apart right there on the floor! 😁
Well, that’s all well and good—but have you actually decided that you want things to get better? 🙂

edit: upgraded my avatar 👍
wiredharbor22 said:Look, I’m not asking you to understand me. If it doesn't mean anything to me, why would it matter to you? 😉
You just keep sending these messages, but there's nothing behind them...

Your profile bio practically screams that you're just messing with everyone here, but despite that, I’ve still gone out of my way to give you actual answers and solid advice whenever you asked. 🙂

My very first piece of advice was to go see a doctor who can actually help you using real science—but I guess that's just not your vibe... 🤣

Honestly, I really think you wouldn't be dealing with half of these issues if you had a little bit of faith. 🙂 😉 😉 😉
And why on earth would I even bother understanding you?

Look, we don't even know each other—we’ve literally only been messaging back and forth on this forum for the last half hour!

There isn't a single logical reason why I'd want to get where you're coming from, other than just being in a good mood—though honestly, my good mood is running low and I am just incredibly bored right now.😉
I guess people just seem to love it when they 😕
It honestly breaks my heart whenever I see someone phrase things that way—and yeah, I know I mentioned earlier that she doesn't need a boyfriend just to feel good about herself, but the way she put it makes me actually feel bad for her guy... 🙂

edit: seriously, she’s overthinking everything and rationalizing every little thing, which is just going to drive the whole relationship straight into the ground...
wiredharbor22 said:I brought him up because I’ve been there before. We’re just friends, but I’m actually in love with him while he doesn't feel the same way... I used to think that even though I’m a great person, I just wasn't attractive enough for anyone to want to be with me. But honestly, I am good-looking, sexy, and have so much going for me. It just doesn't seem to matter much right now...

Man, that is just plain sad.
Guys don't actually build your self-confidence!

I mean, think about it—if you rely on a guy as one of your main support pillars, he can totally wreck your confidence if he slips up or messes with the trust you've built. You can't just lean on him to tell you how smart or gorgeous you are if, deep down in your gut, you don't actually believe it yourself.

Real confidence comes from discipline—like, telling yourself, "Okay, I am going to finally tackle this project I've been putting off for months (or even years!) right now, no matter what."
Or discipline in the sense of saying, "Tonight when I go out, I’m going to be outgoing and social instead of sitting there spiraling and thinking about how awkward I am."
Or even discipline regarding health—like deciding, "If I'm feeling unhappy with my weight, I'm going to stick to a solid fitness routine."

And along with all those little "action steps," you've gotta find ways to reward yourself once you start breaking those old, bad habits. Just take some time for yourself and move forward one tiny step at a time...
