🙂My mom most likely has Small Cell Lung Cancer—well, actually, I think the doctor mentioned it's a type of lymphoma... I can't quite remember the exact terminology, but he did say it might be one of the more manageable types of cancer? I guess. Honestly, I am just terrified—I haven't been able to stop crying for days now.

System failure? Autoimmune?

Have you ever visited the specialist over at Anne's office? Maybe Bosnic could offer some insight—they're supposed to be among the top tier in the field...
Looking for a specialist...

I’m looking for a solid—really solid—general practitioner on the East Side, somewhere around Queens or Brooklyn, maybe near the outskirts
The main thing is that they actually understand complex pathologies (since I'm dealing with an autoimmune condition)—I need someone who won't lecture me about things they clearly don't grasp—and hopefully, the wait times aren't absolutely soul-crushing.

I'm trying to wrap my head around something—if the commission decides to cut off sick leave, even though the insurance provider has already stated the illness is currently in the treatment phase, what are the actual options for an appeal? Is that even legal for them to do? From what I understand, the coverage from providers like Blue Cross Blue Shield is significantly more extensive than what we're seeing here...

Look, I’ve been telling her the same thing for six months now... and while I know he isn't going to change his mind about that, I’ve at least made it to the gym three times this year—which, if you think about it, is a completely different conversation altogether, isn't it?

Does anyone happen to know how many Gray pipe passages there are? I was wondering if there’s a specific site out there that lists radiation doses per individual scan... maybe somewhere with more technical detail?

I just had an ultrasound done, and apparently everything looks fine—except for some sludge in my gallbladder. Interestingly, during my last endoscopy, they also found quite a bit of bile sitting in my stomach... Doctors are telling me it’s nothing to worry about, but I have to wonder: could that be what's causing my lower abdominal discomfort and this constant nausea?

What kind of specific symptoms actually drove you to go through those intense tests in the first place?
Tell me, did they give you any indication regarding how high the radiation levels were in that area? I ask because I find myself undergoing X-rays quite frequently these days.
And honestly, I’d probably opt for anesthesia during a colonoscopy too—though I’m a bit worried they might deny my request since I don't exactly have any connections within the medical community.😢

It isn’t always the case—everyone seems to claim that ultrasounds are basically useless and can't actually show anything meaningful... but I went ahead and scheduled one anyway...

Honestly, I’m at a total loss as to which direction to take—this whole diagnostic process feels like being stuck in a constant loop of radiation exposure and endless rounds of colonoscopies, which, let's be real, are absolutely miserable...
I don't typically deal with diarrhea—it happens occasionally, I suppose, but nothing frequent—but my biggest issue is this persistent pain in my lower abdomen right around the navel. It’s the kind of discomfort that makes me feel nauseous to the point of wanting to vomit, though I can never actually manage to throw up unless I force it. The worst part, though, is when it wakes me up in the middle of the night 🤷... I really don't see how all these tests connect to what's happening, especially since I already had a gastroscopy done and it just showed the same old gastritis I've been dealing with for ages

If you’re dealing with Crohn’s and an ulcer, is it possible to deal with vomiting or that intense, nauseating stomach pain that just makes you feel absolutely miserable?

No, even if I undergo a Passage procedure and the results come back looking clean, can I actually be certain that I'm completely free from both Celiac and ulcerative colitis?

What kind of diagnostic test are we even talking about here—is it a colonoscopy or some sort of investigation into Crohn's and ulcerative Passage?

I suppose I couldn't have asked for a better answer than that, haha.😁

Thanks, but I have to wonder—what exactly is your connection to the healthcare industry that gives you such expertise on this...🙂

So, because of some ongoing digestive issues, my doctor recommended a bowel series followed by a colonoscopy... I’ve been avoiding this for quite a while now—mostly because I've heard the radiation from the imaging is significant, and let's face it, colonoscopies aren't exactly a walk in the park. Since I'm already getting regular scans for my spine, I'm honestly not sure how wise it is to add more radiation into the mix. If anyone actually knows the specifics regarding the dosage levels, I’d really appreciate the insight—especially since I am planning to start trying for a baby soon.

How much damage does anesthesia actually do to your longevity?
I've been hearing people claim that any kind of anesthesia effectively shaves a few years off your life expectancy.
Personally, I’d be perfectly fine opting for sedation—especially if it's just for something like a colonoscopy—but if there's any truth to those claims, maybe it's better to just grit my teeth and endure the discomfort instead. 🤷

If they decide to extend my medical leave, then why on earth am I still being forced to show up at the clinic?

I’m struggling to wrap my head around the logic here—if they supposedly have the authority to terminate medical leave as you claim, then why wouldn't they also have the right to extend it? It just doesn't seem to follow.

Has anyone here actually gone through the process with them—I mean, specifically at the Vatican City facility—and how does that whole setup work? Can they actually deny sick leave? My doctor mentioned that if I’m out on medical leave for more than six months, the law requires me to undergo an evaluation there. So now I have to go, and I'm honestly wondering what this whole thing is about and if they're just looking for excuses to be difficult.
