Dealing with gut yeast overgrowth? in Health ·
So, what kind of digestive issues were you actually dealing with—could you maybe elaborate a bit on the specifics?
Brain fog, but without the headache in Health ·
Honestly, I’ve been struggling with this head sensation for two years now—dealing with doctors and these bizarre spinning sensations that I can't even put into words. It isn't your classic vertigo where things actually spin; it’s more like... waves? Or some kind of pressure? I guess I can't find the right term for it, but it is absolutely terrifying. It lasts for about 24 hours straight. What’s strange is that once I lie down and close my eyes, it feels even more intense—it's much worse when I'm just sitting still than when I'm moving around. Of course, I've had all the standard tests done, including an EEG which showed some dysrhythmic changes, but the specialists are insisting it isn't significant. I feel like I'm losing my mind here. Has anyone else dealt with anything similar?
When are you planning on heading out?
If anything comes up, I'll let you know.
I’m actually heading there tomorrow myself—it’s something I’ve been quite curious about lately

Living with Spondyloarthropathy in Health ·
Seronegative spondyloarthropathy is actually an umbrella term for a group of conditions—we're talking up to ten different diseases, really—that are mostly autoimmune in nature... I'm not entirely sure which specific one you're dealing with, given that I don't know what your symptoms look like?

What exactly is this base for bronchitis? Please, just take a look and let me know what you think

Is it actually possible to run a persistent low-grade fever—say, around 99.5°F—alongside bronchitis?
Dealing with bronchitis? in Health ·
Well, honestly, how is anyone even supposed to get through this without antibiotics? It’s getting ridiculous—I’ve already missed three days of work because of this
Dealing with bronchitis? in Health ·
How much longer does this bronchitis actually last? I’ve been dealing with it for three weeks now—and despite trying two different courses of antibiotics, I haven't seen any improvement whatsoever.😠

Benjamin Murphy2 said:The antibiotics didn't do much for you because, well, bronchitis isn't something you just fix with a round of antibiotics—it's usually viral. It sounds like your bronchial tubes are just extra sensitive right now, and recovery from a virus can drag on quite a bit longer than people expect. I'd suggest staying away from cold, dry air if you can help it, and making sure you stay hydrated. Some people swear by honey or certain cough syrups... personally, I found a thyme syrup that worked wonders for me, though I can't quite recall the specific brand name off the top of my head.

So, where am I even supposed to find that thyme syrup??
I've tried everything—teas, honey, you name it—and absolutely nothing has worked.
Dealing with bronchitis? in Health ·
My doctor keeps telling me it’s just a common cold that turned into bronchitis—which, I suppose, might be true—but I know my immune system is basically non-existent right now because of the corticosteroids I’m taking for this autoimmune condition. So, on top of everything else, I've got this... and it's just exhausting. Does anyone actually have any experience with natural remedies? Maybe some herbal capsules or something that actually works?

It’s been nearly three weeks now and I am still being absolutely hammered by this cold and bronchitis—just constant coughing and hacking. I’ve already cycled through three different antibiotics, and honestly, nothing seems to be working at all.
Does anyone actually know how to get rid of this thing? Any advice would be appreciated.
Living with Ankylosing Spondylitis in Health ·
I'm currently on Medrol and Salazopyrin—plus Methotrexate—so, I mean, it probably isn't very smart to just stop taking things on your own. My doctors actually warned me that if I quit the Medrol abruptly, it might end up doing more harm than good; it really has to be dosed properly...

In my case, it's inflammation in the sacroiliac joints... and that general stiffness.
As for exercising, you'll just have to gauge your own limits—that's how I handle it, at least.

How long has this been going on for you, and how long have you been on these medications?*

They sent me those results... and honestly, it looks like it's transitioning into ankylosing spondylitis.
Who exactly are you seeing for treatment—what kind of pain are we even talking about here?
Dizziness during my period in Health ·
What kind of dizziness are we talking about here—and how long does it last, like an entire hour... do you feel like the room is actually spinning or is it more of something else?

I went over to John Doe, but they couldn't quite pin down what's actually causing it—and honestly, this thing just won't quit on me...
Is there any way to actually order something through normal channels from Professor Smith??
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
I’ve been dealing with these strange dizzy spells for a few years now, and honestly, it’s making it incredibly difficult to function—it isn't even the typical kind of vertigo where objects seem to spin; instead, it's more like this constant sense of instability or cloudiness. I don't even know how to properly explain it, but it's just perpetually there, and I feel like I'm losing my mind

So, where on earth am I supposed to find one?

I’m looking for some advice—specifically, I need a recommendation for a top-tier neurologist in the New York City area. I’ve been dealing with some neurological symptoms in my head for a few years now, and at this point, I really need to find someone who is exceptionally skilled...
