So, my primary care doctor just handed me a referral for some coagulation testing.
Look, I’m no expert—seriously, don't quote me on this—but I think some girl mentioned earlier that you’re looking at maybe $70 if you hit up a local community clinic without a referral, or maybe closer to $150 if you go private.
But again, I’m totally just guessing here—like, take it with a massive grain of salt—it’s just my rough ballpark estimate.
Nancy Campbell5 said:I didn't end up voting for everything, but all this news about those pills has me feeling a bit uneasy... not necessarily because of the reports themselves, but because of other things. I guess I'm wondering when you all actually got your bloodwork done after doing your research? For me, I basically just had a standard blood test; back then I was just a kid and honestly had no clue what kind of tests were actually necessary. Now I'm realizing there's probably quite a bit more to check before starting something like this. I've been on them for three years now and, thank goodness, I haven't had any side effects or mood swings... but now I'm unsure. Next time I go in, should I ask them to run some specific checks or something? It feels like those doctors can be a bit indifferent sometimes, so maybe I'll just look into seeing someone privately instead.

Tell them you need a full blood count, liver function tests, and coagulation factors.
Maybe you just caught a little cold or something, and that’s why you’re feeling under the weather.

But look—if this keeps up, don't just sit there—go see a gynecologist.
Look, I’m just gonna say it—because clearly, nobody else in this digital wasteland has the guts to call it like it is. I was sitting there, minding my own business, probably thinking about how much better life would be if we all just stopped being so incredibly fake for five minutes, when I saw it. And no, I’m not talking about that blatant nonsense you see on mainstream news outlets—I mean the stuff right here, under our noses! It’s like—okay, think about it—have you ever been to one of those overpriced, trendy coffee shops in downtown Chicago? You know the ones. They charge you eight bucks for a latte that tastes like watered-down cardboard, and they act like they’re doing you a massive favor just by letting you sit in a chair that’s intentionally uncomfortable. That’s exactly what this feels like. It’s performative. It’s shallow. It’s all flash and zero substance, and honestly? It’s exhausting. I’m tired of the constant pivoting, the endless "well, actually" crowd, and the sheer audacity of people acting like they have the moral high ground. Newsflash: you don't. We’re all just circling the drain here, trying to make sense of a world that seems determined to lose its mind every single Tuesday. If we can't even have a straight conversation without someone jumping in with some half-baked, "intellectual" detour, then what are we even doing? What is the point? Anyway, rant over. Or is it? I'm still annoyed. Just saying. kaže:
Hey, quick question—what’s the damage on Logest and Triquilara lately? Like, what are we looking at for prices? And honestly, if you had to pick, which one actually hits the mark better when you look at the whole picture? I'm still sticking with Yasmin for now, but I’m seriously debating whether I should just hang it up or start experimenting with some new stuff... 🤷

How much longer is this gonna take?! Seriously, when are they actually showing up? I feel like I’ve been sitting here forever—just staring at the clock, waiting for anything to happen. It’s like waiting for a delayed flight at O'Hare during a blizzard, just endless, soul-crushing anticipation. Any second now, right? Or am I just wasting my life? $23...and stuff like that.
Well, that’s really down to the individual, isn't it? It’s like trying to pick the best pair of running shoes—what works for a marathon runner might give someone else nothing but blisters. For me, I take Logest and it works like a charm—totally fine. But then you look at my roommate, and it was a total disaster; she took Logest and felt absolutely miserable the whole time, whereas switching over to Triquilar worked perfectly for her. Everyone's body reacts differently, plain and simple.
Cancer from what? 😕
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
I’m seeing Dr Kršek (my gynecologist) and honestly, I’m really happy with him. He’s located over on Runjanin Street too.
Motion sickness while driving in Health ·
Ugh, tell me about it. I’m dealing with the exact same thing. Honestly, even Dramamine makes me feel like death—as soon as I take one, I’m basically out for the count. I’ve tried everything under the sun: those motion sickness wristbands, those little lozenges, you name it, I've swallowed it, and absolutely nothing worked. It was way worse when I was younger, too, but somehow now I can actually manage to endure a trip without losing my mind. 🙂

Honestly, I’m also on the hunt for a solid orthodontist recommendation—so if anyone out there actually knows a good one... 🙂
Honestly, I’m totally fine with someone else getting my organs once I kick the bucket. I mean, they aren't going to be doing me any good where I'm headed anyway, right?
Long hair tips and advice? in Health ·
First time I'm even hearing about that.
My hair goes all the way down to the middle of my back, and honestly? I don't feel like I'm going bald at all. Total nonsense.

Look, I’ve been on them for three years straight and honestly? Haven't had a single issue.

I mean, just like Christian Ross6 was saying—besides maybe getting a bit curvier in the chest, keeping my cycle on track, and having a killer physique, there's really nothing else. 🙂
HELP!!! in Health ·
I mean, you could seriously pass out from all that smoke—like, if you’ve already had a few too many drinks, finished off an entire pack of Marlboros, and you're stuck in some cramped, smoky dive bar where the air is basically just thick gray soup...
But honestly? I don't think that's what's going on here.

Just go see a doctor so you can stop worrying about it and get some peace of mind.

What if it isn't barley water?

Maybe try rinsing it out with some chamomile tea instead.
Logest vs. Yasmin: Which one is better? in Women's Health ·
I remember scrolling through all those health columns and news articles back when they first hit the shelves—people were saying that Yasmin was basically the gold standard because it’s got such a low hormone profile. The whole pitch was that you wouldn't deal with that sudden, frustrating weight gain you get from other brands out there.
Logest vs. Yasmin: Which one is better? in Women's Health ·
Then why on earth was everyone making such a huge deal about how Yasmin had the lowest hormone dose and all that other nonsense...? Total waste of breath.
Coffee: yay or nay? in Health ·

Honestly, she’s the reason I’m dragging myself out of bed an hour earlier than necessary just to get my fix. I basically stumble my way to the kitchen in a total fog—half-asleep, eyes barely open—grab the coffee pot, and then retreat back to the covers to wait for the water to boil. It’s this slow, ritualistic process where, after a few cups, I actually start feeling like a functioning human being again.

I’m right there with you. 🙂 Though, if I’m lucky enough to bribe my husband into getting up and starting the brew early enough, 😍 I can practically smell the caffeine waiting for me the second I blink my eyes open. 😉
Need some advice! in Health ·
Wait, he didn't even give you a full exam? That is such a waste of time—seriously, what are they even doing over there?

Check out that PDF I sent; it’s got all those women's health recommendations for finding a good OB-GYN, so just give that a look.

Honestly, maybe you should just head to a private clinic right now to see what the deal is—especially since you're probably stuck waiting forever at a community clinic anyway.
Coffee: yay or nay? in Health ·
Look, I’m telling you—I am absolutely non-functional without my coffee. If I don't get that caffeine hit first thing in the morning, I’m basically a walking zombie—just cranky, jittery, and dealing with a headache that feels like a sledgehammer to the skull.
so ☕ 😁
