I’m going to drink like an absolute idiot, knowing full well I’ll be dealing with a massive hangover for the next couple of days
Good grief, I don't have the patience to sift through all this right now. 😳
Are those camping $60 actually an extra charge on top of the ticket price, or am I misreading this? 😬
Anyone still running Windows 7? in Software ·
Paul Davis51 said:Hey everyone!

Look, I’ve run into a massive wall trying to install Windows 7 on my laptop.

I downloaded the official 64-bit Pro ISO—I have an original key, so everything should be legitimate—and while the installation itself seems to complete without a hitch, the OS refuses to actually boot, throwing this error at me:
windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software change might be the cause.
Attempting to launch in Safe Mode is a total waste of time because the machine just resets and spits out the exact same error message. I even tried the "Repair Your Computer" option, but that was equally fruitless. I've performed a clean install twice now, and the result is identical every single time.
In a desperate attempt to figure out if the issue lies with my hardware or a bad DVD, I even installed an unauthorized 64-bit Ultimate version, and predictably, it failed in the exact same manner.

I am currently downloading the 32-bit version, though I highly doubt that will solve anything since my laptop should absolutely support 64-bit architecture.
My machine is an Acer Extens 7630 g
running an Intel T5800-based processor with 4 GB of DDR2 RAM. It previously had an OEM Vista installation, but that's gone now following my attempt at a clean wipe.

I'm stuck because I'm certainly no IT expert.
😕😢

As it stands, I've reverted back to a 32-bit Vista using a recovery DVD. :/
According to the performance information and tools, my processor is definitely 64-bit capable.
The Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor also confirmed compatibility,
and after checking the official Acer website, it's clear my model is rated to run Windows 7,
yet it simply won't work.😢
Either I'm missing something obvious,😢 or there's a deeper issue here.
Does anyone have any actual, intelligent advice to offer? 😬

I’ve spent some time digging through Google trying to find a fix, but I haven't stumbled upon anything remotely useful. Honestly, maybe I should just get some sleep before I attempt to tackle this mess again. 😳

I honestly don't understand what all the fuss is about; that large hall at The Fillmore is actually a perfectly decent venue for concerts. 🤷

Marc Ecko watch reviews in Miscellaneous ·

You can head over to this site where they carry Marc Ecko watches, reach out, and inquire about the total price for whichever specific model you're eyeing.

I wouldn't expect the final cost to climb much higher than two thousand bucks.

Is that really the impression being cultivated on this forum—that I’m out here using drugs?

So you think you actually "caught the dragon"?😲

how pathetic 😬

I am firmly of the opinion that those "flyers" are responsible for every single bit of this mess!
Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue, but if I were personally hunting for some sake, I’d probably head straight to Vrutka.🤷
Why was this thread locked????????? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
It is all laid out clearly enough in the rules of this subforum, so I fail to see why reading them is such an insurmountable challenge for you.
So, I’m looking for some information here: where exactly in the city can one pick up face paint? 😁

I’ll pass this along to my friend who needs these exact same things:

Does anyone actually know where I can pick up some face paint? I’m looking for the heavy-duty stuff—the kind you use for masks and full theatrical makeup. Any leads? 😁 Stop playing around like a child; get serious and act like an adult for once.

I don't have anything to say to that.

Aren't they essentially the same thing? 🙂

No! These childish generalities aren't even visible to the naked eye, and they crash and burn just as quickly.

Biking vs. Driving: Which is better? in Cycling ·
Patrick King7 said:Look, I am an absolute driving fanatic! I drive everything, everywhere, at any hour, in any direction, all the time! If you were to wake me up in the dead of night and tell me to drive to Romania—making sure to emphasize that you're footing the bill for gas—I’d be out the door and on the road before you could finish your sentence!
BUT: nothing compares to the pure, unadulterated rush of hopping on my bike when time ceases to be a measurable concept! Just try getting from one end of the city to the other in thirty or forty minutes using a car, a streetcar, or even a bus (or a motorcycle without breaking a single traffic law)! It’s impossible, and don't even get me started on those moments when I’m flying past miles of gridlocked traffic while they sit there stuck. They’re cursing their luck while I’m grinning; they’re staring at a red light, while I’m rolling right through it; they see green and stay stationary, while I see green and keep moving! I’m telling you, the thrill is exponential! And that's not even mentioning the feeling of descending that old trail near Arlington National Cemetery! People think I’ve lost my mind—and honestly, my bike probably thinks so too—but what can I say?😂
I tried riding slowly once, but I barely managed about a hundred yards before the momentum just takes over and sweeps me away.🤷
Even on wet pavement, I simply thrive on my bike; I feel as free as a bird, and there have actually been times where I felt practically airborne! Then there are the sprints, or rattling along the gravel paths, or the slow climb up toward Mount Rainier via the forest trails, only to tear down the asphalt on the way back and weave through the cars—or take the dirt path and deal with the kidney-rattling bumps; it’s absolute madness, I swear!!

I always have my backpack on me; I cram everything and anything into it, plus a little extra, and if I need to pick something up in town and it fits in the bag, provided it isn't negative 800 degrees out, I'm going by bike! I’ve ridden through snow, and I always make sure to get some miles in right after New Year's Day while everyone else is still sleeping off the celebrations. Besides: Patrick King7 is a bike rider just look at the signature.

To me, it sounds like you're running away from something :frojd: 😬

I hold a driver's license, but I will always choose my bike over a car because nothing else compares to the sheer rush of riding, and I genuinely relish being on two wheels even when I'm just grinding through the daily grind across the city.😁

I had initially assumed there was some connection to blood pressure, but honestly, if you don't want to deal with the fallout, just stay out of it entirely. 😬
Can't get this tire to inflate!!! in Cycling ·
I find myself questioning the fundamental rationale behind the use of Presta valves; is there some inherent technical advantage that makes them uniquely suited for the demands of cycling?😕
