http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses They have some really pretty dresses here. Plenty of plus-size options too. Just keep in mind it's an American shop.
I think I've seen this link around here before, but take a look if you haven't yet. They have some cool stuff.

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if these values (slightly above the upper limit) are worrying, or is this still considered normal?
I went in for blood work on my own because I want to start birth control again. My OB-GYN previously suggested I get a liver panel, coagulation profile, and lipid panel done first. As for the liver tests—everything looks fine. These are my coagulation results:
(the last values are the reference ranges)
prothrombin time 1.05 >0.70
. 0.97 INR i>
APTT 33 22-28
APPT ratio 1.27 0.80-1.20
fibrinogen 3.7 1.8-3.5
antitrombin (AT III) 80 75-125
protein c 131.40 70-140
Thanks
If you’re standing still for too long—like waiting on a subway or something—you can get orthostatic hypotension where your blood pressure drops. But I don't know if that actually happens after just five minutes.
Something similar happened to me a few times. It turned out I had thyroid issues (hypothyroidism). Ever since I started hormone replacement therapy, it hasn't happened again. Might be worth getting checked out.
If you’re heading to a private clinic or a lab, you don't need a referral. I had my blood work done at , and the TSH, fT3, and fT4 came out to $93. Not sure what the other tests run for, but you can always just call and ask. Just a thought—the standard panel might not include iron if you want to check that too.
People have already warned you—check your thyroid too, just to be safe. It can mess with all sorts of things. I dealt with weird headaches and dizziness myself when my TSH was high (hypothyroidism)... plus that massive exhaustion and weakness..
If you can't wait for an appointment, you can always get your hormones checked on your own at private labs (though fT4 and fT4 are better indicators than T3 and T4)
I tried Valerian, but honestly, they’re pretty weak since they're herbal... I feel like they work more like a placebo—you know, just the idea that you took something for anxiety makes you feel better. 😁
I’ve had this happen too... I'll be drifting off to sleep, then suddenly bolt awake in a total panic. Heart's racing, and then I just spiral, worrying I'm actually having a heart attack or something. I also deal with thyroid issues (unknown) and stress. Honestly, I think the most important thing is just trying to calm down—I take some herbal supplements for anxiety, though they probably won't do much for most people—and reminding myself that I'm going to be okay. If you really need peace of mind, go get checked out by a doctor. It'll either prove you're physically fine and it's just anxiety, or it might be related to the thyroid 🙂
I don't know what the standard protocol is for every OB-GYN, but in my experience with private doctors, they've done transvaginal ultrasounds on me a few times... It's probably possible they just do an abdominal one instead, and I actually think it might be better if your bladder is full... Anyway, if you're unsure—just call that doctor—and ask 🙂
I think they're doing a transvaginal ultrasound, so you won't even have to drink any water.
Hey, quick question. How does registering with a social gynecologist work if I haven't been signed up with anyone yet? Do I need to check with them first, then go through the insurance provider? And will I have to circle back to my regular doctor? Just trying to plan my time—it's a long trip with all the back and forth. 🙂
neonhound32 said:I thought the movie was good, but I usually prefer those intense dramas with a real plot. It’s got that European feel to it, which tells you everything you need to know right away. It's driven by the story rather than just flashy special effects.
I heard a lot of people walked out halfway through. From what I gathered, most were just kids expecting something like Miami Vice (it was a secret screening at AMC Theatres) instead of a Spanish drama.
Just give it a watch. I liked it. 🙂
hehe, my boyfriend and I were also hoping for some Miami Vice action, but we stuck it out until the end.. Personally, I found it a little slow, but Penélope Cruz is amazing—she's gorgeous, and honestly, her shoes in this movie are great : )... the film isn't bad at all, really. I just went in wanting an action flick that day, so maybe I was a bit biased before it even started : )

Honestly? Just call and tell them you messed up the message. :) Though, I've been there too—I always have to run my questions by my sister first before I feel ready to dial. It’s a bit of a hurdle. :)
If all else fails, just correct the lab report yourself or tell the staff at the hospital that the results were recorded incorrectly...

I’ve seen her a few times—actually, my very first checkup ever, plus two more after that. I think she’s great. Really nice, not harsh at all. Since she's younger, you can actually talk to her about whatever is on your mind. As for her medical expertise, I can't say for sure because I only went in for standard exams and didn't have any major issues... but overall, I'd recommend her. 🙂
It’s a great movie. Really funny. You definitely have to watch the original version though—some of the characters are hilarious specifically because of the voice acting... I don't think it's quite for kids, either. They might miss some of the jokes. Anyway, it's a blast...
Hey there...
Can anyone recommend a solid private dentist in Chicago? Ideally somewhere downtown or maybe near the Lincoln Park area...
Also, any idea what the going rate is for private visits? If you know...
I’m pretty "sensitive," so I honestly thought I’d never be able to handle contacts... like, at all. But when I first got my soft lenses, my sister was at the eye doctor with me and she put one on her finger then told me, "Go ahead, try it yourself." And I actually did it! :) It was a bit harder once I got home, though. I think you just get the hang of putting them in and taking them out pretty quickly. You'll adjust in your own time—maybe an extra half hour of struggling every day. Eventually, you'll be fine wearing them from 7 AM until 1 AM. Just a tip: don't bother buying those little suction tools. If some dust gets in your eye while you're out walking down the street, you'll need to take the lens out right then and there. It's way easier to do it manually. Just look straight ahead, pull your eyelid, and it'll pop right out. Just keep practicing. : )
It’s showing nothing..
but I think I figured out what went wrong. My view was stuck in that hybrid mode, but once I switched back to linear, all the threads opened up just fine..
I was just scrolling through, and it looks like I can't even open threads with a ton of posts—anything over 1,000...
So, I just can't get into a few of these TV shows lately... specifically that whole Big Brother thing. Everything else seems fine, though. I honestly have no clue what the issue is...
