Ronald Morales51 said:Everything sounds fine, but Tim... honestly, there are plenty of much better, younger actors out there. I just can't bring myself to watch it. The story itself could be great, but man, where is the sense of aesthetics with these people?
everything else seems perfect

Tim 😲 are you crazy?!😲 I haven't heard of anyone better. Besides, who cares if an actor is pretty? I'm not trying to watch a fashion show, I want a solid movie with actual talent. Plus, we don't even know how "old" the character Tim Roth is playing yet...☕
Youth without Youth

After a 10-year hiatus, Francis Ford Coppola is finally coming back to the director's chair. The movie is set during World War II. Word is it’s mostly a romance with some thriller vibes, and Tim Roth is taking the lead. Francis Ford Coppola wrote the script himself, based on—if I remember right—a novella by Mircea Eliade that I haven't heard of before. Thoughts? What are you guys expecting...

Personally, I'm glad...😁

Jack Nicholson and the Wayans brothers—they aren't exactly top-tier actors, I guess, though they're decent enough comedians. Maybe.
Bruce Willis

Katherine Heigl
Eva Mendes
Susan Sarandon
Ginny Gershon
Brandy Ledford

Charles Miller3 said:Whoops, my bad! My apologies!😳

Well, fine then. If we're talking "heavy hearts," I’m officially calling it—I'm done with... uh... Clive Owen and Scarlett Johansson. 🙂

🙂 😍
Charles Miller3 said:Alright, here’s my top 5—strictly based on how much I personally vibe with their acting:
- Philip Seymour Hoffman (seriously underrated, just a master at what he does),
- Leonardo DiCaprio (I've been a fan since What's eating Gilbert Grape? He cooled off a bit after Titanic, but then totally won me back with Blood Diamond) 😍
- Jack Nicholson (like someone already mentioned—this guy is an absolute icon)
- Joaquin Phoenix (man, he's got massive potential)
- Clive Owen (I just love watching him on screen) 😍

- Meryl Streep
- Judy Dench
- Sandra Bullock
- Scarlett Johansson
- Toni Collette (kind of like Philip Seymour Hoffman—she doesn't overact, she just delivers)

🙂 is splitting them into groups of four... check the first post🙂
Drew Anderson10 said:I honestly can't wrap my head around why Samuel L. Jackson didn't make the cut, because I feel like he's one of those rare actors who can absolutely nail any role he takes on, no matter what kind of genre it is.

Personally, I thought he was pretty mediocre in Star Wars. (Don't come for me)🙂

btw, we're only taking 4 votes for actor and 4 votes for actress (check the first post, applies to everything)...🙂

it's just that Photoshop nonsense; even Angelina Jolie looks bad in those...☕
thanks, David Price5🙂
slyrider342 said:Jack Nicholson is your top pick? Give me a break, please. It’s not that I’m saying he’s bad—far from it—but honestly, people, you are seriously living in the past... Christian Bale is the undisputed number one right now.
He’s got zero competition.... number 👍

🙄 Sure, he's the best of the younger crowd, but Nicholson is still an absolute icon🙏
redorca11 said:I’m watching the final segment of "Dog Day Afternoon" with Pacina right now... It is truly staggering how much she can convey through nothing more than a facial expression or a gaze—an expression that radiates pure fear, despair, and total helplessness. She communicates far more than any dialogue ever could.
A true powerhouse of an actress...

That was always the plan, it's just that these jokers here can't take anything seriously...

Just drop the links here🙂
alright, I'll drop an update tonight or tomorrow🙂
Bradley Ramos11 said:Which movie takes the crown: The Godfather or any Star Wars film? What’s the actual verdict here?

There’s no such thing as a fact here...☕ it all comes down to taste🙂 though if we're talking about The Godfather Part III versus something like Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, then there's no debate. Same goes for The Godfather vs Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace... there's really no argument to be had...🙂
Brandon Ortiz88 said:Honestly, you were being a little bit of a bore there; the guy keeps insisting that you shouldn't compare things that are purely a matter of personal taste, yet here you are, just picking at him incessantly.
Not everyone has had the pleasure of dealing with you before, so they don't realize just how stubborn you can be when you get an idea stuck in your head! 😁(Please don't take this personally, I'm just making a comparison, not trying to insult you)

nah, I didn't take it personally, I know I'm a lot to handle. 😁it's just how I am, nothing malicious. I said I respect his taste and all that, but honestly, I just can't wrap my head around how EI could even be put in the same conversation as EIII. I'm not talking about preference here; it's everything—the acting, the plot, the dialogue, the shots, the scenes... 🙂I just can't get behind it. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, and I'll respect anyone who thinks Barbra Streisand is a total hack, but this really isn't about taste. It's like comparing The Godfather Part I or II to The Godfather Part III. Don't you see what I mean?🤔
It just doesn't sit right with me. You can say you didn't like Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith or that you aren't a fan of the Star Wars franchise, but comparing it to Star Wars: The Phantom Menace...🙂 there's just no way.🙂
Brandon Ortiz88 said:I mean, sure, you can claim that's just your take on things, but honestly, you can't really point to any actual fact—and I’m not even talking about Cristiano Ronaldo or Tomislav Bušić here—to prove those two movies are as different in quality as you're making them out to be. If we’re looking strictly at the visuals, I’d say Star Wars: The Phantom Menace holds its own just as well as Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, so I certainly didn't notice any dip in the camerawork, and while some of the acting might be better, it's not like it's enough to justify calling one a significantly superior Cinematographic achievement over the other.

Fine, since you're being so stubborn, why don't you just say Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back is better than Star Wars: The Phantom Menace?

And since you ignored the stuff about Ronaldo and Bušić, where exactly does it say Cristiano Ronaldo is better than Tomislav Bušić?🙂

P.S. looks like nimblemarlin17 is ignoring me... hope I didn't offend them or anything...🤔 😢 if I did, it wasn't intentional...
Seriously some of the best shots I've ever laid eyes on...

nimblemarlin17 said:Actually, you can, because it's just a fact that XP has more features and better code than 3.1. You aren't even getting what I'm saying. Seriously...

I get it. And just as a fact, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith is a much better movie from a Cinematographic standpoint than Star Wars: The Phantom Menace☕

just like how Cristiano Ronaldo is a better player than Tomislav Bušić.
