Caught this last night and honestly? I was blown away. Russell Crowe is a beast, Christian Bale is incredible, the soundtrack kills... everything was spot on. Only thing is, that ending left me totally cold. Read some of the threads here and realized it’s not just me.
I just don't get Wade's motivation at the end, and Pavičić hit the nail on the head when they said the massacre felt unnecessary. I guess it's just meant to satisfy the newer crowd who finds an old-school Western like this too slow.
I bet Seinfeld came up with the title first, then just kind of... phoned it in. Not exactly groundbreaking, but it’s not terrible either. It's colorful, fun, and has Chris Rock
The second I saw the odds were 1.35 on the Frenchmen, I dumped my cash on Team USA. We always play our best when we’re the underdogs. As soon as we start acting like we own the place, we immediately blow it.
I'm just not seeing how we actually take down the French 😁
The Frenchies are too physical for us; they just play a gritty game. Honestly, even the US national team doesn't have that old-school flow anymore, so anything can happen at this point. 😁

I couldn't care less about the Russians. Other countries have carried them enough times (just look at the US at Wembley). This is just Mexicans getting even after they bought up half the coast. 😁
Bay would be killer if you just brought him in off the bench to handle the offense, kind of like a specialist in basketball. You let some other director build out the characters and the plot, then bring in Bay to crush the action sequences like that stuff in Pearl Harbor. It would make for an awesome film
The movie’s a solid 4/10. Caught it last night and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. My only gripe is that it occasionally feels like a high-budget music video or one of those cinematic trailers you see before a video game starts.
Some people might complain that it paints Catholicism in a bad light, but I’m not buying that argument. 😁
Honestly, it works out fine since I usually care more about other games anyway. Especially now that they're broadcasting Manchester City. Talk about a real showdown 🙄
It’s not terrible, just a bit exhausting. Honestly, the whole movie felt like the directors were wandering around aimlessly without a clue what they were actually trying to say.

What's the verdict?
The movie's actually solid and the vibe is spot on.
Every time I rewatch Sony, it puts me in such a good mood. Total feel-good vibes. And yeah, call me a heretic if you want, but the movie actually beats the book for me!
Ratko Rudić is a total legend. Whatever he touches basically turns to gold. Seriously, the guy is a phenomenon.
Check out this clip from his interview at the Olympics in Athens...
Reporter: Coach Rudic, do you actually believe the water polo at these Olympics is getting way more aggressive than it used to be? Ratko Rudic: Yeah, I do, and there's a pretty simple reason for it. Reporter: What's the reason? Ratko Rudic: It's because They let All Thes Soviet satellite nations in under their own pseudo-countries. Kazakhstan for crying out loud. Everyone knows they are a violent people by nature. Didn't anyone on The Olympic Committee watch Air Force One ?? They hijacked the President's plane for God's sake. Of course they wouldn't hesitate to throw elbows like it's nobody's business. Jeff Powers: that Artemiy Sevostyanov Guy and i need to taka IT outside. I'll show them what we do to people that hijack the President's plane.
