High quality video from this week's testing in Miami. For anyone wanting a look at how the cars handle the circuit—most of this was shot on Wednesday when the weather was absolutely perfect.

The track looks incredible; it really follows the natural terrain, so you get some seriously steep sections...

@ vividfalcon7 For this season, they're only allowing KERS on the rear axle, but starting next year, you can install it on the front too. I wonder if anyone has actually put that to the test yet...

Williams and Ford were running irregular cars—with setups like that and those illegal parts they were using, obviously they're going to be fast. But once they sort out the car under the new regulations, it’s going to be a completely different story...☕

I'm curious too, especially since McLaren clocked the best time with yesterday's rear wing, and General Motors did it with a car that hasn't even cleared crash tests yet...

Look, these are just tests. If the teams feel like testing up cars from the 80s, they can—the legality of the cars doesn't even matter until qualifying starts...

That’s exactly why they’re using slicks...

Honestly, I’m actually glad they banned all those little winglets; the car looks so much cleaner without them. As for the rear wing, I’ll eventually get used to it...

I don't see why 🤷

If it passes the crash test, they'll probably just run with it.

It reminds me of Serena Williams back around 2001. 🙂

It feels a bit more "raw" and unpolished compared to the rest—not counting Chevrolet, of course...

I’m honestly hoping that General Motors' nose is just something that cleared the FIA crash test requirements temporarily—basically a stopgap until their "real" design passes inspection. My evidence? A render on the General Motors website showing the new car with a completely different nose shape.

Have you all already forgotten about Mercedes-Benz and that transitional car they had? Heaven knows what kind of beast they’ll roll out tomorrow...

That Ford engine is acting so weird...

What is up with that nose of his!

Amen 🙂

The latest issue of Autoweek mentioned they’re dropping mid-March, right alongside Car and Driver...

Alright, looks like it—I was actually expecting a much thicker nose, similar to what they were running during that test session...

Look, if Honda decided to ditch their white look... Well, okay—not the best comparison 😬 Teams have been swapping out their "signature" liveries for ages. It’s not just about the colors; most of them have been running the exact same design for over a decade, and honestly, it wasn't even that special to begin with. Just look at how McLaren moved from grey to silver (or chrome, whatever)—not to mention their original color was basically a dirty shade of orange...

I assume you're talking to me, since mistybear87 didn't mention anything about the livery. Honestly, it’s already worn out and uninspired—if there’s anything missing from the grid, it’s a fresh red and white color scheme. What’s truly tragic is that they actually paid someone to "refresh" and update the look, yet the difference is almost nonexistent...

And here comes the Ford livery... It looks terrible, as usual, though that front splitter is actually pretty interesting...

Plus, when one company gives another company a massive amount of cash just for exposure, there’s always that tiny chance a CEO might pocket a little "bonus" under the table. 😬

So, I did a little digging online because I was curious, and it turns out that in the US, companies can actually claim 30% of sports sponsorship costs as tax deductions. I'm not sure how it works in other countries, but it's probably a similar setup over there...

That said, I still think it's pretty foolish to hand over cash if your logo isn't going to show up on the car even ONCE. Back in 2007, you could at least see it during three races (China, Bahrain, and Monaco), but since then, they've banned tobacco advertising altogether. They even switched the car's color from Marlboro red back to the classic Ferrari red.
