When you look at a photo like this, you realize just how much those drivers used to risk their lives back then—literally putting their heads in a bag... It’s almost impossible to wrap your mind around it today.
Drivers have pointed out that KERS provides its biggest advantage right when you're exiting a corner. Besides, the system isn't even tied directly to the engine...
They completely missed the mark by choosing a group portrait of all the current drivers instead of featuring Ayrton Senna—as stormyviper11 pointed out so perfectly in the editorial, they won't be getting any forgiveness from the readers for that move. 😉
I honestly prefer this year's cars—they look much cleaner without all those extra wings, fins, and other unnecessary bits of aero clutter...
edit: I noticed Tata is on the car now too, sitting in what is probably the least attractive spot on any of them... I seriously don't get why Philip Morris insists on this sponsorship; the last time their product branding was actually visible was back in China in 2007. This barcode thing looks like absolute garbage.
I’ve always enjoyed the Windsorian articles—even if they were a bit too biased in this particular issue. As for Johnson, he’s gotten pretty extreme lately; ever since he started his column, it feels like he’s just constantly throwing shade at Jergen. It’s incredibly obvious how much he can't stand him...
There are some interesting pieces in here. They finally picked a great poster 😉
Are the NASCAR awards coming out in the January issue, or will they be released sooner?
I honestly think it was never officially banned—it's more like Bernie just pulled it from the lineup after one race because he knew they'd shut it down anyway.

ROSSO CORSA FOREVER!
Actually—if you think about it—they only recently brought back that classic "Ferrari red." Back during Schumacher's era, the cars always looked a bit brighter because of the Marlboro branding...
It’s a shame—the grid hasn't felt the same since the Jordan days when that iconic yellow was everywhere... Just look at this current car and compare it to what was once a masterpiece instead of this clownish livery we're seeing now...
He finished with 😉. Doduše, the rain was coming down hard and quite a few drivers dropped out, so even ten laps earlier, the race was essentially over. Anyway, it wasn't until the eighties that refueling during a race was actually allowed. In my opinion, that’s what killed the magic—back then, you only hit the Box for tires, and you had to earn your position on the track itself rather than just gaining ground through pit stops.
I actually know the exact opposite of what you're looking for—the very last driver who didn't pull into the Box at all during a race was Mika Salo at a rainy Monaco...
