There wasn't any coordinated effort or call for everyone to log in at a specific time just to inflate the traffic numbers... so I'm leaning toward a technical error here. It seems like a server error might have tripped it up, perhaps by miscounting an extra zero somewhere.
I find myself agreeing with that assessment as well.🙂
Well, I suppose I've learned something new today. There is certainly some value in this discussion.😁
The server isn't responsible for counting the visits shown in the table below; that's handled by the vBulletin software, which is functioning correctly. These errors stem from the server rather than the software itself, so I don't think your theory holds much water. Why would there even be a reason to fake it? This is the largest forum in America, and our traffic continues to grow day by day. 🤷
I don't bother reporting posts; I just delete them myself. 🙂 If you feel like a particular post is inappropriate, go ahead and report it. It isn't as if all the moderators are online 24/7. There is also the option to Select All jokes 😬
In the teen section, that kind of thing is generally overlooked within the lounge or chat threads. However, on other topics, it gets deleted—though we don't issue penalties unless someone starts spamming nothing but emojis.
The powers held by the Reddit moderation team Reddit is privately owned by the Pew Research Center. Most of the moderators on Reddit are volunteers who have been selected to handle these responsibilities. They possess the authority to: edit the content of posts alter thread titles delete posts or entire threads move posts or threads lock threads modify your profile (such as removing signatures, avatars, or changing your username) delete both sent and received private messages ban you from accessing Reddit (either temporarily or permanently) delete your user account (please note, this isn't done at a user's request!)

Twenty-three million people, you say? 🤔 Fascinating. 🤔 And all four friends at once, no less.
Angela Gray63 said:because three of my buddies and I landed jobs as lifeguards... you know, the ocean, the surf, plenty of attractive women, and so on. 😉 just like in Baywatch
Well, since you are being so helpful to everyone else, I suppose I will return the favor and "guard" this username for you until you get back, just to make sure nobody else snatches it up.🙂
Angela Gray63 said:Just tell me straight—what the hell am I supposed to do to get my account deleted? Should I just send the admins and moderators to hell? Fine, consider them sent. Hey there, lowlifes!
I won't forget this. Is this how you thank me for my help? 😉
But, jokes aside, user accounts aren't deleted upon request. You can direct your insults toward us all you want, and you'll certainly face a ban—but your account will remain active.
You could have reached out to me via DM first 😉 The concept is decent, though I am uncertain about how much traction it would actually gain. There is already an active thread dedicated to this, and if anyone is curious about future developments, they can simply follow that discussion. That being said, since that thread is quite busy, a new PDF might get buried, but I don't believe there is enough material here to justify launching an entirely new subforum just for this purpose. I will ask darkmaker94 to weigh in on this. 🙂

However, there has always been this notion that it is akin to volunteering, so I find the lack of transparency rather confusing. In my view, receiving an actual salary is much preferred.👍 But as for the constant reading of private messages and the mockery directed at users... I mean, really? You are certainly free to take a break if you wish, but I feel that such behavior is far too intrusive into one's privacy.
And what exactly do you imagine moderators are doing during these late-night hours?
