I saw a trailer like that once too, featuring a dragon, but it turned out to be a total fake.
redpilot9 said:Just so you guys know, the quality of the Remastered DBZ is absolutely top-tier. You get the English version with the original score, or if you prefer, you can watch it with the Japanese audio and the Japanese music—it’s basically an incredible 3-in-1 deal. xD

I'm with you on that. The series was pure comedy (at least in the first season) That's from the manga... I think.
Yeah, but Google Chrome keeps crashing on me—at least it does on my machine—so I made the jump over to Firefox and it’s working perfectly fine. It's way faster than Internet Explorer, though from what I hear, the new Internet Explorer 8 is actually pretty decent, so maybe that's worth testing out. Leopard is basically just like Mac OS. Leopard uses these little tricks with how it handles desktop icons. To be honest, the only thing about Windows 7 that really caught my eye was the taskbar, but once I realized Display Properties didn't have those Windows Vista 32-bit pixel icons, I decided to stick with Vista.😁 I'm with you there... it feels a bit "sterile."
They’d be better off giving Opera 9 a shot. Regarding Windows 7... I'm with you on most things, except for that bit about the taskbar. Personally, the taskbar is the only thing I actually like about it. Leopard just doesn't really fit in with that specific pack when you're looking at it alongside Windows 7 and Vista.
Alright, I see what's going on here.🙂 The icons look a lot like they did in Vista, but honestly, I’m not a fan of how lifeless the whole thing feels.😁 Both Vista and Windows 7 have more color, whereas it looks like Leopard just sticks to that default blue and gray palette. You might want to mess around with the Display Properties in there; you could probably find something a bit more interesting if you dig deep enough. I don't know this OS inside and out, but I feel like the design could have been handled a lot better. From what I can tell, the Recycle Bin is just carried over from Vista. I played around with Windows 7 for a little bit once, and personally, I wasn't feeling those windows either. Since Vista has all those different options under Display Properties / appearance / Sub Design, I figured Windows 7 would have had something similar—like that Windows Vista 32-bit icon set. You've got Google Chrome installed too. Heh... that's definitely not the most reliable browser out there.😁

That’s what I was getting at, though clearly, it didn't apply to this particular forum (which is just lovely, really 😍)

Honestly, the fact that he likes them might actually work in his favor somehow.😁
briskhound2 said:I saw over on IMDb that they were actually considering having Robert Knepper play Freddy... which honestly sounds kind of wild, if you think about it... Robert Knepper T-Bag from Prison Break—now that was actually an interesting rumor... honestly, I think he’s got more edge than old Billy Bob Thornton, he just has that look on his face that makes you freeze up...
I was just scrolling through some old discussions about that whole *A Nightmare on Elm Street* remake situation... you know, the one everyone seems to have such strong feelings about. It’s funny how certain movies just stick in your head for all the wrong reasons—it really makes you wonder if we'll ever get a remake that actually respects the original vibe instead of just trying to slap a modern coat of paint on it and calling it a day. There’s always that tension between wanting to see something fresh and just wanting to preserve what made the classic work in the first place. I feel like most studios today just look at the numbers and go, "Hey, people liked this thirty years ago, let's do it again with more CGI," without actually understanding the soul of the story... which is usually where things fall apart. It's a tough balance to strike, especially when you're dealing with something as iconic as a Wes Craven creation. You can't just replicate the dread; you have to recreate the feeling... and most remakes just end up feeling hollow. Anyway, just some late-night thoughts while I was digging through the archives... Wes Craven basically put it this way regarding the remake—he’d honestly rather take a jawbone to the eye than deal with that whole situation... ha ha ha.
I was just scrolling through the FAQ section over on IMDb for that one movie... you know the one... and I started thinking about how much people love to nitpick the tiny details in these scripts. It’s funny how everyone thinks they have a better take on the plot than the writers did—especially when it comes to those weirdly specific logic leaps that only make sense if you stop thinking for five seconds... anyway, it got me down a bit of a rabbit hole. Just one of those things where you realize how much work goes into making something look effortless, even when it's clearly a mess behind the scenes... turns out, most of us are just overanalyzing stuff that wasn't meant to be solved... Man, there's just a massive pile of info floating around right now—some of it totally confirmed, some of it just straight-up rumors—about this remake...
I have to agree—Robert Knepper definitely has that specific look you'd expect from a horror movie killer.
