Of course I have, it's just... I didn't think your people were actually in it.😉

LOL... since when does that matter?😁

Heh... yeah, I actually went through that exact same thing. I ended up having to wipe my entire C: drive just to get rid of Windows Vista.
In my case, "better safe than sorry" was already too little, too late.😁
Even if you're running a fresh install, I’d still suggest running a defragmentation every once in a while just to be sure.😉
As for Leopard, why don't you post some screenshots?😁
Windows 7 transformation packs! in Software ·
Even if something goes sideways during the conversion process, it won't touch your files.😉 Besides, nothing is going to happen to you anyway, since we aren't even the ones running this thing.
My files were a bit of a mess on my machine too, but everything stays exactly where it was after the transformation. How often do you run disk defragmentation? Doing that might actually help your PC run a little smoother.
(Now that I think about it, I probably should run some defragmentation myself today.😁)
As for being paranoid, well... we all are.😁
I once lost about 40 GB of various files, but that was because of Vista—specifically when I was switching operating systems (downgrading from Vista back to Windows XP) and I was an idiot and installed both XP and Vista on the same partition.😁

Is your computer really that slow?😁
I know mine is a total mess because I’ve got way too many programs and all kinds of useless junk running in the background, though I try to clean it up every once in a while.😁
Why on earth would you bother with defragmentation before starting a transformation?
Windows 7 transformation packs! in Software ·
I've definitely been there myself—skipping the restore point because I was way too confident that nothing would actually go sideways.😁
(That was back when I was downgrading from Windows 7 to Vista)

Are you talking about The Score (2001) or something else?

If you track down the song title, let me know.

briskhound2 said:Honestly, she finds Brendan so charming😍 that I actually sat through those comedies Enchanted and Monkeybone (if that's even how you spell it), and they weren't really my thing. The Mummy is great—it has its flaws, obviously, but it held up well until Indiana Jones came back around, and he's just so likable😍 that now The Mummy is basically just a pass for me. Still, it beats National Treasure. Personally, I think he’d be perfect for an action role; he’s got that look for it. I did a little digging online, and this movie seems like a mashup of Harry Potter and stuff like that. I already downloaded it for her, so she can enjoy it. I know she'll love it.

Yeah, Enchanted and Monkeybone are the ones.
Enchanted was just your average comedy to me... fine if you need something on in the background. But The Mummy Returns? That was hilarious, LOL.😁 I don't think the first two movies combined had that much humor. It's a well-made film; I just hope they don't mess up parts 4 and 5.
I agree it feels like Harry Potter or maybe Eragon; there's a certain vibe there. Plus, I think the same guy did the soundtrack for this and Harry Potter.
I'm trying to track down the track that plays at the end of the official trailer, but nothing so far.

If it makes you feel any better, just set up a restore point while you're running the installation.

briskhound2 said:Journey... was just okay for me, kind of a mediocre flick, but The Mummy actually left a decent impression. Maybe it’s because Indy was on hiatus, so there was a void for that kind of movie, but the trilogy gets a passing grade from me. As for his comedies... good grief, I tend to avoid them entirely because of that. I’m going to be forced to sit through this one since my girlfriend is obsessed with it (and I keep pointing out that Jim Carrey exists), so maybe then I can give a more objective take. Right now, it doesn't look particularly interesting to me.

I think his movies are pretty good, especially the adventure ones, but honestly, it all comes down to personal taste.
So, did your girlfriend talk you into it?😁
Inkheart (2009) in Movies ·
I don't know... I feel like sci-fi roles just suit him really well.
His recent films (like Journey to the Center of the Earth and The Mummy Returns, which has those comedy elements...) seem like pretty solid family movies.
He's kind of evolved into an action guy now—someone who specializes in those sci-fi family flicks and adventure stories.

I actually managed to transform my Windows Vista setup into Windows 7, so you might want to give that a shot—trying to turn Vista into Mac OS X Leopard.
Just do yourself a favor and create a restore point before you touch anything. If things go sideways, you'll regret it, especially since I'm not entirely sure if Isso pack 5 plays nice with Windows Vista.
(What I did was use Isso pack 4 to install 5; that way I jumped from Windows XP to Windows Vista, and then eventually from Vista over to 7).

@ironbadger21, of course it’s going to be terrible. That’s exactly why people go see it. 😍Besides, the movie is only 84 minutes long (including credits), so the experience will be more or less painless.

This looks like some kind of Most Wanted list to me.

@darkviper7/">@@darkviper7 - Even though Windows 7 is still technically in beta (if I recall correctly), this transformation pack looks and runs surprisingly well given where it is in development.
Once they actually polish Windows 7, we're going to see much better packs hitting the scene.
Besides that, some people are probably just using this pack as a way to get a feel for Windows 7, especially since Isso pack 5 also supports Windows Vista and Mac OS X Leopard.

I actually think Resident Evil is pretty decent for a change of pace. I still haven't sat down to watch the third installment, though.
But if you really step back and look at it, the whole franchise is basically just reinventing the wheel, which doesn't mean we aren't going to sit through it anyway.

briskhound2 said:Wasn't the last movie in that series Diary of the Living Dead? Romero also teased a new one from that franchise, plus the British have those 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later sequels, and then there's the Dead Set series. Honestly, the whole theme is starting to feel pretty played out.

Yeah, you've got a point.
I haven't been paying close enough attention to every single zombie flick listed on IMDb.
That one was the only one that stuck in my head. 28 Days Later isn't bad, but I actually haven't even sat down to watch 28 Weeks Later yet.
