It’s a bit of an odd, heavy watch, and I'm having a hard time putting my finger on why. It just left me feeling kind of depressed, even though it wasn't anything out of the ordinary...

What a game 🙏

The best parts: calling timeouts and just letting out all the colorful language... The highlight was definitely during that last timeout when Dominiković veli Kaleb told him, "Watch out for that idiot, let the righty shoot"... 🤣

Then you had Čarka Červar-francuski arguing with the refs, which almost led to a Frog swinging at someone on his own bench who was trying to calm him down

And "Nicholas, you jerk"
🤣🤣🤣🤣

The movie isn't bad, especially if you prefer surreal escapades over a solid plot...

Kyle Watson8 said:William Scott18, you’re such a pathetic little blue-haired kid. You actually believe the entire world revolves around how much swagger a guy has based on his car😛

I am genuinely worried about you, truly. I’ll offer up a prayer to the patron saint of lost causes to help clear a path for you😁 but honestly, that’s the extent of my influence. That is all I can possibly do.😘

As for me, I’m off to go investigate where my soul wanders off to whenever I fall into a depression.👋

Until you're 18, or maybe even 20, being the "cool guy"—loud, aggressive, and wild—is what draws girls in. That's what they fall for at that age.

After that, I'm not entirely sure what matters since I haven't quite hit that stage yet, but confidence definitely plays a huge part, and you build that during those early years.

That's why I say guys who have had girlfriends will deal with choices sooner, while those who haven't end up with lower confidence and are left on their own. It makes it harder to try, and even harder for girls to show interest.
If you studied psychology, you might already know there's literature out there about this.

I'm not trying to lecture anyone, just stating facts—things are often much easier for women than they are for men.

quietranger14, I hope my college experience improves too, though I'm not expecting much. If you expect too much, you always end up disappointed.

quietranger14, thanks for the great posts, even though I kind of crashed your thread while you've got enough on your own plate...

Thanks too, James Allen6

But I wanted to share a thought. While your points make sense and offer a good roadmap, there’s one thing I think you're missing.

When it comes to dating, being a shy straight guy is the toughest spot to be in. In our culture, men are expected to make the first move, and finding a partner isn't an impossible task. It's much the same for gay men...

But straight guys are essentially left to figure it out on their own. And who do women actually gravitate toward? The ones with the confidence...

It’s like how the rich just keep getting richer, while those struggling stay stuck where they are...

Sarah Wood8 said:And you think I don't feel the same way? You think I haven't been stuck in this same miserable loop of being lovesick at 26? Get a grip, man. Figure out what actually matters in life and start respecting yourself enough to stop begging the universe to hand you something when the timing is clearly all wrong.

Yeah... It’s never the right time... Not at 19, and probably not after... Like things just magically get easier as you age... Everyone else is out there falling in love and living their lives, while I'm stuck with nothing...
As if I'm going to find someone at college... Probably not, since everyone there already has experience by the time they're 18 or 19...

Anyway, I don't want to derail this conversation, it's not about me...

Sarah Wood8 said:God, William Scott18, just give it a rest already. Anyone who was ever soft, lacked confidence, or was introverted has dealt with some version of school bullying. Honestly, you don't want to know what I went through in high school; you wouldn't believe me. I practically lost all faith in humanity, and that is one thing you absolutely cannot let happen to you.
What's worse is that damn it, YOU allowed those bullies to win! This constant whining and lamenting is the direct result of their actions. Why are you giving them the satisfaction? Did they actually win? Damn the girl who's supposed to be your partner if you've already buried yourself alive. You're building these complexes by staring at other people with girls, thinking it's some big deal? Watching two teenagers flaunt a relationship that won't last longer than a carton of milk? Get a grip! Do you think those bullies won? Do you think I don't deal with consequences? Do you think I haven't spent years paying the price for the mental trauma I endured because I was surrounded by animals? Pull yourself together, man; there is a whole new life waiting for you out there, new people to meet. Trust me, by the time you're 25, you'll be a completely different person—I promise you that. Start making friends at college, both guys and girls, go grab coffee, relax. Don't just stop being negative—stop thinking altogether for a while and just let life carry you. You are the one sentencing yourself, not them, and no matter what anyone on this forum says, you're just stubbornly repeating the same loop so we have no choice but to tell you to "just kill yourself" when you annoy everyone.
You aren't listening to me or anyone else; you only want to hear yourself. Fix yourself, because I know you can. I know you are capable of better than this, and if I know it, there's no reason for you to think otherwise. I can see that you are your own worst enemy. Defeat this version of yourself, and you'll have the world at your fingertips.

You've got a point, but... Sometimes, like today, I just want someone to hold me, and I want to hold them too...

Not someday, not maybe one day, but right now... Today. Before noon. Just listen to Smiths-How soon is now...
And honestly, it isn't happening today, tomorrow, or even next month...

quietranger14, I’m so sorry for everything you’re going through right now...

I haven't dealt with things quite as heavy as yours, but I was bullied back in middle school. I wasn't even short or weak, they just targeted me because they knew I wouldn't fight back...

By freshman year of high school, things got so dark that I almost dropped out. I fell into a deep clinical depression and even attempted suicide. Ironically, just when the bullying finally stopped, I hit rock bottom...

Now I’m a college freshman. I managed to pull myself out of that hole, met some people, and started getting my life together, but I still deal with so many issues I can't seem to fix...

Throughout high school, I spent all my time watching everyone else hooking up and being affectionate. It felt like being thirsty in a desert while someone else pours water out right in front of you...
I've realized that saying "love will come" is pretty hollow. I'm 19 now, and it feels like love only finds the people who are already well-connected or just incredibly lucky...

You have a boyfriend, which is great, but for me, I feel like I'll never find a girlfriend. Honestly, I feel like I might end it all sooner or later... it's hard to live knowing that...

I just keep thinking everything would've been different if that bullying hadn't happened...

electricotter20 just needs to give him a taste of his own medicine. And obviously, I’m done talking to him or even reading what he has to say... it's like trying to have a conversation with a stray cat or a dog. You just don't bother.

So, whatever that guy writes, just reply to someone else instead of me. You can't actually reason with people like that, but it's hard to ignore them when they're following you all over the forum and being totally disrespectful...

What do you even do with idiots like that?
Around the pmeova in Forum Help! ·
I honestly don't even know what this idiot is rambling about because I don't bother reading his posts (I just hit reply without caring what he actually says), and I delete his insulting PMs immediately without looking... but this is someone who comments on EVERY single one of my posts. That's harassment, and I'm not putting up with it from anyone, especially not some moron who can't even string a coherent sentence together.

I can back up these claims of harassment with links showing how electricotter20 insults my mother, makes disgusting accusations about my private life, and more... Well, when you finally give him a taste of his own medicine, suddenly he's the victim. That's just how people with zero character act.

Maybe we should just ban that idiot so he stops stalking me and insulting my handle. Every single time I post something, there's electricotter20 with his insults. I know he's quoting me whenever he jumps into a thread I'm already in.

Just let him have it, you jerk, it might make you feel better...

Is there any way to block some annoying jerk from seeing my posts and leaving insulting comments when I'm not even talking to them?

Does this idiot need a lobotomy? Or should I just hit him with a ban?

Well... I don't really have enough expertise to give you any specific advice. My body issues are kind of the opposite—I'm actually underweight for my height, but I feel incredibly weak. Honestly, I struggle with how I look too. If things weren't this way, I probably wouldn't want to change anything either, right?

If people here haven't given you plenty of advice already, I'll just say you aren't alone. My brother is 15 and weighs over 220 pounds too...
