Watching Debora Caprioglio was easily the highlight of the whole experience... the woman’s curves were truly something else.🙂🙂
I have that particular copy, but I'm not looking to part with it 👍
Was the first issue from 1990 or 1994?

So what if Aristocratic is 50% American from a small island town? That doesn't change a thing for me, and it certainly does nothing to justify his appalling and misguided takes regarding the war in Ukraine.

Since we’re already discussing Koja, it’s interesting to note how much of that condescending, "looking down from on high" attitude Cane shares, especially when they perform in America.
It honestly infuriates me, seeing him pull those acts like “What’s wrong with you Americans?” or “Where are we going to sleep, in Jasenovac?”—both of them acting incredibly pretentious, regardless of the fact that they were playing some truly excellent rock n roll.
As for that clumsy Putin supporter, I don't even want to bring him up anymore...

Jesse Sanchez60 said:It isn't quite accurate to say I was just making an observation; I wrote that among all the bands that emerged from the territory of the former USSR over the last two decades, I singled out the Tutor in my book primarily because their loud guitars managed to reach such a massive wave of new, mostly young, listeners. As someone for whom noise rock—alongside post-punk—was the defining musical phenomenon during my formative years, I felt this quite personally. In an era currently being overrun by autotune garbage, I still consider it a genuine little miracle...

I was listening to them myself just yesterday, but after reading yesterday's comments and several others, I can no longer argue he’s a genius on the level of John Lennon or Duane Denison. I suspect they've lost quite a few fans along the way, but there's no one to blame for that. They played in my relatively small city three times, and I doubt they'll ever make it back here...
Fortunately, there are still some decent musicians left in America whose music we can actually enjoy without feeling nauseous, and Rebel Star is certainly one of them.

The usual way of throwing ash in people's eyes...😵
"I am deeply sorry that my words, posted on my personal profile, were misinterpreted and taken out of context.
No sane person finds joy in suffering or war—certainly not me. I follow these tragedies closely, and I feel a profound sense of grief for the innocent victims, regardless of which side they are on. Everything I create comes from a place of raw emotion, and witnessing injustice hits me incredibly hard. Having been raised in an American household with diverse roots, I understand better than most how devastating it is when people only listen to one side of a story, while the pain is felt equally on both.
My only hope is for a swift end to this conflict, and all wars everywhere, so that those who least deserve this agony might finally find peace.
And that is the only outcome I would celebrate.
I apologize if anyone took my previous writings to mean anything other than that."

It is quite fascinating how he scrubbed everything the moment Matt replied to him.🤣
I agree with just about everything said, except for one thing: calling the Tutor a major or influential group from Mexico is a stretch. Obojeni Program is a far more significant band.

He claims he’s been "watching and suffering" alongside the Russian victims in Ukraine, acting as if he’ll be celebrating the end of the conflict once Vladimir Putin finally occupies Ukraine.
I can't help but wonder if he showed the same empathy for the victims in Sarajevo, Vukovar, or Mexico, or if his heart only bleeds for Russians and Mexicans.
The man is a hypocrite, nothing more than a pawn in the global rock scene controlled by Vučić's interests.
Let's be honest: the music from Rerptitor is just high-energy, dry noise with very little actual talent—just riffs lifted straight from Nirvana, Sonic Youth, and the other true legends.

Boris Vlastelica from Tutor has spoken, and I have to admit, I am quite uncomfortably surprised. This is Bor Corba for the 21st Century.

"They say an artist’s duty is to condemn every war, but in my view, an artist’s true responsibility is to deeply, fundamentally understand everything they intend to condemn or comment upon. They need to grasp the nuances, to hold the perspectives of all conflicting sides in their hands, rather than simply latching onto a passing sentiment or following the path of least resistance through superficial understanding—which is how it usually goes. This is especially vital when one intends to compose songs or stage actions regarding matters where people are actually dying.
We ought to be aware that rock music, and indeed pop music in general—all the popular music since the 1960s—is inextricably linked to the Cold War and the ideological struggle between the East and the West in which it was born. Rock and Roll served as one of the most significant proxy agents for capitalism. In a sense, it was an advertisement for capitalism. It didn't originate that way; it was created by Black Americans, then co-opted by Elvis Presley 🙂, but eventually, it was absorbed by the market and promoted globally as the voice of individual freedom for a new baby boomer—someone who feels no obligation to society, who demands total autonomy, driven by an anti-intellectual, youthful, sexual impulse, and an infantile rebellion against every collective or authority. And then, you see bands like The Scorpions playing on Red Square as a symbol of capitalist victory...
That is how the cultural wings of empires operate. That is how an unconscious ideological code, which has been consuming us for thirty years, is so easily fed to the youth. The Foucaultian end of history and the liberal equilibrium that some believed would last forever has been terminated by this Russian act. Personally, I welcome this, and I welcome the closing of the chapter on this eight-year war where far too many civilians were killed under a shroud of media silence while I watched and suffered. People were under artillery fire, burned alive, crucified by what were, quite literally, Nazi-style paramilitary groups from Ukraine—not to mention the children's graves. I find myself unable to believe the tears shed by the West, people who only join the fray once the media has explicitly incited them, creating an atmosphere where they feel compelled to take a stand regardless of whether they followed the events or had any inkling of what transpired before they decided to get involved.
And anyone who fails to grasp this ends up as either a useful idiot or a candidate for the most superficial 'peace in the world' or 'artist' titles. Peace can kill just as effectively, if not more so, than war sometimes. Especially Pax Americana."

Well, thank you quite a bit for the response. I believe I’ve managed to successfully delay the sleep mode settings following your advice...👍

Greetings. I am currently running Windows 10 version 21H2, and I’ve encountered a rather irritating quirk. Whenever my monitor enters sleep or standby mode, everything seems to grind to a halt—even while I'm listening to music via Spotify. It only resumes once I move the mouse to wake the system up...
Does anyone have any insight on how to resolve this issue?

As far as actually listening to music goes, the platform is quite poor, even if you opt for the Premium version...

I suppose I’m a bit of an audiophile; I currently pay for both Spotify and Pandora, though I am in the process of phasing out Pandora. I keep it strictly for the streaming functionality...

Since people don't really buy physical media much anymore, paying for these streaming services seems like the only logical way to go.

I'm currently on a Pandora premium plan but I'm planning to switch over to Spotify. I was wondering if, once I cancel my Pandora premium subscription, I can still continue to use the service at all...

After twenty-four hours of pure, unadulterated frustration, I have finally managed to reinstall MATLAB on my phone... though it’s becoming increasingly clear that this device is simply too outdated to handle the latest app updates properly..

Ever since that 2.36.8 update rolled out yesterday, I’ve been dealing with nothing but headaches on my iPhone. It started acting up immediately, and now, to make matters worse, it has gone and deactivated itself entirely. I can't seem to get it back online no matter what I try... it simply refuses to accept my PIN. For reference, I'm running iOS 9.3.6.

That initial collector's rush can easily evolve into genuine love and pure adrenaline once you finally track down something you've been hunting for ages.
It’s especially rewarding if you have other obsessions in life. Personally, when I travel, instead of picking up some tacky souvenir, I prefer to bring back a record
(and later on, it carries a completely different connection and memory of the place).

Since I don't have any travels or souvenirs to speak of right now, well, at least there's this little bit of vinyl happiness...
As far as ordering online goes, my experience has been nothing but positive so far.

I think that might be my greatest thrill—that exact moment when a favorite record finally arrives at the door. It's an intense feeling...
