I see you guys are struggling with bra sizing, so I just wanted to mention that Triumph actually has a minimizer line with about 3 or 4 different styles, going all the way up to a 110 F. I’m not sure if anyone else even carries that size, besides them. Mind you, the price tag definitely reflects that, sitting around $100.
If you're in the city, there's a shop called Anita over on Gundulic Street that has a massive selection of lingerie and bralettes—tons of variety and plenty of stock in the bins.
I think I read somewhere that Amadeus Jeans released a spring collection specifically for plus sizes. Though, honestly, if the fabric quality is as flimsy as their standard line, I probably wouldn't bother.
Wait, you mentioned finding B&B stuff at H&M? Which location was that? Was it down in Florida? Apparently, the stores in New York don't carry that section... and which C&A were you talking about?
By the way, Marks & Spencer is supposed to have a good amount of larger sizes available, maybe 16-20... especially their jackets. Peek & Cloppenburg is similar.
As for boots, if you're looking in the metro area, there are ARA stores—one is downtown and another is in the Westside Mall. Their footwear is top-tier quality, too; they offer several widths, including some cute patterned bootie styles. They aren't cheap, though—those ballet flats with a little extra sole and heel go for about $167—but they're worth every penny...
I’ve gotta say, I don't really see it that way. When the human psyche is functioning the way it's supposed to, the goal is pretty simple: to be happy. And to me, that means finding freedom from pain, trauma, and all that suffering.
Look, I'm not naive—life isn't perfect and people go through hell. But if anyone tries to tell me there's some inherent beauty in starving or being sick compared to just feeling full and healthy? Yeah, I'm not buying it.
That’s a solid question, and honestly, it’s great that you’re finally starting to ask it for yourself.
Look, you’re an emotional, tender person who craves affection and love—just like everyone else. The catch is, you seem willing to take it from anyone, no matter the cost. Men without a conscience can sense that, and that's exactly why they target you and play these games. It’s not like you chose this role for yourself; it’s actually the opposite—they pick you out because they know they can. They’ll always go for someone like you. You’ll never see a guy like that try to approach a confident woman who knows her worth; they just call women like that "difficult."
Give that some thought. Next time one of these guys tries to pull you in, try saying, "Actually, I don't want to be chosen by someone like you. I deserve a relationship with someone who actually respects me."
No matter how "sweet" these guys act toward you, make no mistake: they don't respect you, and they don't love you. A man who truly loves and respects a woman would never turn her into a side piece or use her the way they do. These guys are predators and parasites, and you’re just their prey. Once you realize that and stop kidding yourself into thinking there’s any real emotion involved, walking away will become much easier.
Once you admit they're just using you, everything will fall into place. They are exploiting you. It is nothing more than basic, banal exploitation of another human being—you.
I cut them all out once I realized I’d much rather be alone than let someone exploit me and tear me down. An emotional or psychological drain like that just kills you inside... Believe me, being single is better.
And by the way, there is absolutely nothing beautiful about suffering. That’s just the narrative they use to keep playing you for a fool while they continue to exploit you. Meanwhile, they move on with their lives, having their wives and kids. In this whole scenario, you're the only one hurting, not them.
I had a lucid dream once—it was ages ago, actually. Before it happened, I’d been doing a lot of deep work on my spiritual growth and tapping into my energy levels. Honestly? It scared the hell out of me. I ended up pulling back entirely and basically shut that part of myself down. I haven't even tried to go back there since.
Looking back, I don't think the dream itself was actually scary. It was about this guy I was with, but what really freaked me out was the sheer level of awareness. I knew exactly where I was—lying in bed, sleeping—and I realized I could actually *control* the whole thing. Knowing that I could shape the outcome? That was the part that sent me running. Even after all these years, the sensation was so vivid and intense that it’s still burned into my memory. I think I spent a huge chunk of my life searching for a man who felt like that guy from the dream, just because I became obsessed with recreating that specific feeling...
Lately, I’ve started thinking about it again. Apparently, you can actually train yourself to do this as a technique, so I’m considering diving back into the research. Has anyone here actually managed to manifest some positive outcomes through this? Like, for real?
Honestly, I think this all boils down to your own hypocrisy. I’m pretty sure there’s a whole lot of hidden attitudes beneath the surface here.
The truth is, you just tossed a perfectly good flower in the trash, and now you're starting a thread about how poor, worried, and stressed you are, blah, blah, blah.
In my opinion, your real issue is being two-faced. It feels like you're living a double life—one version for the public, your parents, and everyone else, and another version that's actually you. Maybe give that some thought. For all we know, maybe you're even gay or something and just haven't come out yet.
At the end of the day, the flower doesn't even matter. You can pick up a bunch at Home Depot for pennies...
p.s.
Or maybe it's what you hinted at yourself—that "devoted daughter" act. You clearly don't actually want to take care of your parents and just want to run as far away as possible, but you play the part of the caring child for show. You aren't living authentically; you're living hypocritically. At least, that's what everything is pointing toward for me...
Honestly, this stuff was all laid out fifty years ago. Go ask your auntie at the local library if you don't believe me.
Regarding the PET/CT, that info was right there in the patient instructions provided on-site. I know people going in for thyroid scans using radioactive iodine get the exact same set of directions. Personally, I trust what's written in those official patient guides, and besides, it’s clearly stated. Let's be real—the amount of radiation involved in a PET/CT scan, specifically the radioactive tracer the patient receives, is massive. It's enough to make you wonder... one of the actual risks of this procedure is that the intense radiation could potentially trigger secondary issues, like cancer. It's rare, sure, but it does happen.
There is absolutely no way those prices are right. Fox messes up their reporting way too often, so please don't try to use them as a source here 🙂
You can't just fix that with a little bit of Brazilian charm :-)
Maybe some plastic surgery could do the trick? But honestly, I think you're overthinking it—most people won't even notice.
The only thing that actually works for serious scarring is those silicone sheets. You usually have to order them through a pharmacy.
I'm not talking about the silicone gels they try to upsell you on—I mean actual sheets.
Anything else, especially Contratubex, is just a total waste of money. If you're going to throw cash away, just buy the sheets; I swear by them. The only catch is you have to wear them for 12 hours a day, every single day, for a month. But trust me, it's worth it!
It could be a tumor. If you get it taken out sooner rather than later, you won't have any lasting issues. So, seriously, don't wait.
Yeah, that could actually be a sign of something pretty serious. I think there’s some connection to hematology or blood disorders, but my memory is a little fuzzy on the details. Honestly, you should probably just get to a doctor as soon as possible.
I’m a super sensitive person, and honestly, I think that’s one of the main reasons I struggle with my weight. I pick up on everyone else's vibrations and frustrations, and the only way I know how to shield myself from all that noise is by building this physical barrier—which ends up being fat. For me, food isn't even about pleasure; it’s just a tool. I don't even particularly love eating, and I'm not some huge sweets person or anything. I’ve just realized that whenever I lose weight, I start feeling exposed and small, so I end up gaining it all back almost immediately. After sitting with this for a long time, I finally realized the issue isn't actually the food or an inability to diet; it’s that I keep putting the weight back on because I desperately need that protection.
What do you guys think? Has anyone else gone through something similar? Is there any other way to build a shield against negative energy so I can finally let go of the extra weight?
Here’s an article I found online to get the conversation started:
Check your sensitivity. Do you hate crowds? When you're surrounded by pessimistic people, do you feel drained and defeated? You may be energy sensitive, meaning you soak up the energies of those around you, and subconsciously want to pack on weight to act as a buffer against negative vibes, says Louise Hay, MD, author of The Secret. Many of Hay's sluggish, overweight clients engage in what she calls "energy-defensive eating," adding pounds to protect themselves from overwhelming vibes. "Early 20th century faith healers were renowned for being grossly obese to avoid absorbing their patients' symptoms," she says. Overcoming bad energy is as easy as taking a few deep breaths. "Breathe in vitality," Hay advises. "Breathe out fear."
