Michael Lee4 said:Just more proof of how amateurish they are over there... I mean, at least pull it off professionally instead of making the whole world laugh (or cringe, depending on how you look at it). Honestly, it doesn't surprise me at all that they asked Felipe baby to let Alonso through. But for God's sake, could they at least execute it differently to spare themselves and the viewers from that pathetic display from the moment they stepped out of the cars until the cameras cut after the press conference...

I honestly don't get them. Why couldn't they just quietly adjust his RPMs by two laps on the computer and call it a day? Or just tell him, "Hey, you need to save your brakes," or maybe follow Mark Webber's idea—just swear, and then it gets cut anyway due to censorship.

They have infinite options, but no. They go all out with everything, and they do it so clumsily that even a novice could see right through it.

But hey, I suppose when you're pulling in a salary of $100, $200, or $300k+, you can't really expect much better. Maybe they just need more money 😁.

It’s honestly hilarious how everyone is piling on Ferrari right now, when every single team does the exact same thing. You see the fans and even the leaders from other teams dragging them, but their excuses—the whole "low oil pressure" or "saving fuel" routine—are identical to what Ferrari goes through. It just seems like the Italians haven't quite mastered the art of using the same secret codes yet.
Is the customer always right? in Economy ·
I’m having a hard time following your logic here—what is this Customer actually looking for? They aren't asking for a refund, they don't want a fresh loaf, and they aren't looking for an apology... 😁
Getting access to the venue in Law ·
Look, I don't even smoke, but I’d be the first one heading inside. Sitting outside when it’s 90 degrees out is just masochism; I want that AC hit. So, honestly, I couldn't care less about the smoking aspect.
It’s actually pretty fascinating how people suddenly transform into legal experts overnight. They act like they have a PhD in the rulebook, and everyone starts throwing out these half-baked theories. This situation is no different.

He could easily book a table—just label it "Reserved" instead of "Smokers Only." I mean, you never see a sign specifically saying "Reserved for Wedding Party," right?

Most of these suggestions are just pipe dreams that wouldn't work in the real world anyway. But hey, if someone wants to waste their time testing them, let them. At the end of the day, he's within his rights...
Getting a loan through an Austrian bank in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
You might want to try reaching out to some of our smaller regional banks and just lay out the whole situation for them. Maybe there's a more substantial contract tucked away in the works, or perhaps you could pull together several smaller loans from a group of associates to bridge the gap. Honestly, I think those might be your only real shots at this.
Credit Bureau - US Credit Report & Debt Records in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
If you ask me, the bank is actually in the right here, especially since they’re taking such a hard line about refusing to roll over the existing debt—especially after the whole thing already went through the courts.
Well, larlar makes a point. I suppose I could go in for some corrections myself, but if I ended up with a slightly sunken bridge or even just a minor imperfection, it would absolutely wreck my entire look. It’s just not something that would suit me, so I'm not messing around with it.
I notice some people seem genuinely terrified of seeing any doctor who isn't part of a private practice. Why is that? It’s not like they’re doing it for free; just because you aren't paying out of your own pocket right then doesn't mean the service isn't being funded. And let's be honest—even a private specialist can't guarantee perfection. If something actually goes sideways during a procedure, you're already in a major hospital facility, which is honestly a huge advantage. Plus, the surgeons working in these public systems are incredibly skilled and professional.
I'm truly glad to see that most of you here are satisfied and that you managed to get exactly what you needed.
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
You make a good point, especially working here in the States. Honestly, there's a real advantage to doing plastic surgery in a hospital setting; if anything goes sideways, you've got much better access to immediate medical support.
