Why can't we use asterisks when changing our nicknames?

Because that's just what the boss decided.
Senior year burnout: Too many responsibilities and zero sleep in Psychology & Therapy ·
I mean, I really don't know how long you can actually study without passing out 🤷
Personally, if I don't get at least 8 hours of sleep, studying becomes impossible. I just end up staring at the pages like some kind of zombie 😁

So wait, does this mean I don't actually have to do anything? Like, am I just supposed to place some bets or something?
Facial pain when smiling—anyone else? in Health ·
Whenever I try to smile, my face actually starts to ache and feels kind of tight, you know? Like, the smile just doesn't feel as big or as easy as it used to be. It’s almost like when you haven't hit the gym in a while and your muscles start feeling a bit stiff if you try to go for a long walk 😢😕Does anyone here know anything about this?

Has anyone here actually tried one of those weight loss retreats? Like, do they actually work or is it just hype?
That feeling of falling in your sleep? in Psychology ·
Ever get that weird sensation in a dream where you’re just... falling? Like the ground suddenly disappears from under you? And then—BAM—your whole body jerks so hard you snap wide awake. Did you actually feel like you were falling while it was happening?

If anyone knows what's actually going on with this phenomenon, I'd love an explanation!

Thanks

I pretty much pull up my profile every single time I hop on the forum. Just checking to see if anyone replied to my posts or if there's anything new happening on the threads I've been active in.

It’s not even about the fact that it expired, really. It’s just that I have to stare right at it every single time I open up my profile page

I ended up with one of those, honestly just a random thing I got, and I only ever check out that subforum maybe once a year if I'm lucky at all

I reported two posts from the same user over on the scholarship sub-forum—the one that doesn't have a moderator assigned yet—but I'm wondering where those reports actually ended up?

honestly, I say the same thing whenever people tease me for being white as a sheet🙂

They won't let me—they're saying if you look anemic, you aren't allowed in the tanning salon.

Gosh, why would I even do that? I'd end up looking like a total ghost. Just a dark face and a pale body everywhere else. Totally weird. 🤮

Yeah, I was just looking through some stuff online recently.

hmm, did you end up seeing a doctor? It’s possible it’s just poor circulation since it isn't affecting your whole body

I honestly feel like people who are super pale just shouldn't even bother with tanning beds. Like, if you're looking as fair as Nicole Kidman
