Amanda James6 said:It seems like that Logesta stuff works for everyone... at least, that’s what they say. For me and two of my girlfriends, we felt the difference within the first couple of months—it was such a headache trying to figure out if it was actually doing anything. But after that, all five of us saw results. Looking back at the thread above, I noticed someone mentioned things slowed down after using Logesta... though, if I’m being honest, my own hair growth has always been a bit on the slower side... 😍 I’m running on fumes here... my legs are practically giving out... 😍 🙏 I've been taking Logest for quite some time now... 😉

I just really hope I don't start losing my edge—ugh, how creepy is that...
But hey, I'm not actually sobbing, we're just being dramatic—though, honestly, I'm a total crybaby normally, but ever since I started this medication, I haven't shed a single tear.🤣 🤣 🤣
Honestly, I’ve been feeling pretty terrible ever since I started taking Logest—just awful, really. I’ve been on it for three days now, and the constant hunger is relentless, plus I feel incredibly bloated... it’s just a nightmare 🙏
On the other hand, those Diane pills worked perfectly for me—zero complaints whatsoever

C&A 38
Mustang 29/32—though the actual lengths run about 30, 32, or 34... I think 32 is the standard reg, if I recall correctly.

So, you should probably aim for a 28 or maybe even a 27...

rowdyotter65 said:But didn't your doctor tell you exactly how and when to switch over to those other pills? I mean, they should know best since they actually know your medical history. Did you even go in for a check-up (blood work, Pap smear, all that stuff)? I'm always questioning everything with mine—I basically insist on a full exam if my doctor doesn't bring it up first.

It’s just ridiculous—honestly, it's getting weird. I tried asking for a prescription for Diane, but apparently, I don't have "rights" to it because my boyfriend had to go in since I was sick. Then, I called back two or three times just to say I'd come in if necessary, and they basically told me to just stick to the instructions they already gave...
When I asked my sister if I should take a break from them or not, her response was just...🙂DO WHATEVER YOU WANT.
I am definitely looking for a new gynecologist—this whole situation is beyond absurd at this point.😍

Regarding these new pills—no, I haven't had any exams yet. I've got my Pap smear scheduled for next month. I’m assuming since Logest has lower hormone levels it shouldn't be an issue, but still—the way they handle things is completely unprofessional.

I haven't taken anything today—though, theoretically speaking, I really should have by this evening, and now I’m just sitting here completely stumped on what to do next...

The ones I’ve been using—they were the 21-pill packs, and then there's the Diane-35 variety... honestly, I'm lost. I'll probably just take a break from them, though I truly have no clue what the right move is.

It’s the most frustrating thing—the old packaging says to take a break, but these newer ones tell you to just keep going. It's like even the manufacturers can't make up their minds... they don't even know!

Thanks for any advice you might have.

Jeffrey Walker3 said:Hey, just check the tablet instructions! I'm pretty sure there's a section in there about it (like switching over from other tablets). At least mine does!

There is, yeah—when I switch from other pills, I just start the next pack the day after my last dose ends.
But I never, ever wait any longer than that one-day gap.

Plus, my OB-GYN told me it doesn't really matter.

The problem is, my primary care doctor is totally against birth control—you know how it is, some people have those rigid religious views or "family values" things—so I can't even bring it up with him.

Meanwhile, a friend's gynecologist said you absolutely have to take a seven-day break.

So now I'm stuck—should I trust the official instructions or listen to them?!!

I’m telling you—if I ever get my hands on that banana-flavored snack pack, I’m absolutely going for it—even if the sheer sugar rush sends my nerves into a total tailspin.
I don't have them with me today—though, honestly, they tend to settle my nerves much better than a bar of pure chocolate ever could.
Honestly, you have to wonder—there just seems to be way too much chemical stuff in everything these days. It’s everywhere, really—from the food we pick up at the local grocery store to the stuff we use just to clean our houses—and it honestly feels like we're constantly being bombarded by it. I mean, don't get me wrong, science is great and all, but there's a point where it feels a bit excessive, isn't there? Just feels like we're living in a giant lab experiment sometimes. 🙂

So, tomorrow’s the big day—I'm finally pulling the trigger on a Logest. Honestly, I've been eyeing it for a while now—just one of those things that sits in the back of your mind, you know?—and it feels like the right time to just go for it. It's funny how these decisions work out; you spend weeks weighing the pros and cons, overthinking every little detail, and then suddenly, you're just ready to make the move. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly!
Tomorrow... well, tomorrow marks my very last day of drinking. It’s happening. Finally.
So, what’s the move here—do I just power through and dive straight into the logistics, or should I take a breather first?!

You’re really making me sweat here

I’m just hoping—fingers crossed, really—that once I make the switch from Diane over to Logest, everything finally settles down and stays smooth
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Look, I’ve been on Diane for a few years now—years, mind you—and let me tell you, I am definitely not pregnant. I haven't put on a single pound, either. Honestly, I haven't dealt with any side effects at all... nothing. Just smooth sailing.
So, I’m officially making the switch from Diane over to Logest—and honestly, after everything, I finally realized I needed to take a breather. It just made sense to step back and pick things up again with this group instead. But now you've gone and confused me—maybe I should just head out right now too? 🙏 I haven't heard anything about side effects from switching—though, honestly, it’s totally possible these pills won't sit quite as well with you as Yasmin did. I really don't know for sure, though :S
Look, I’ve dealt with this one particular clerk at my local post office—she’s just being difficult for the sake of it—who refuses to let me send things as standard parcels, insisting everything goes registered, which ends up driving up the shipping costs.
Honestly, though, I’ve always just looked for $5.00 to cover the postage, and then I'll just bridge the gap myself with
. Sometimes there wasn't even a difference to pay, and other times, after getting into these long, exhausting little debates with that lady at the branch, I’d actually end up $12 paying the full shipping fee anyway.
Anyway, I finally switched to a different USPS location and honestly? No more headaches. 😉

The system just flags it in red, so you know exactly what the shipping cost is going to be $5.00. I had one instance where a girl asked me for ten bucks, but she ended up covering the rest of the postage herself—I mean, that was an option too, I guess...
But having that red indicator is key; it lets me know who I'm dealing with so I don't accidentally buy something from someone who insists on using standard mail.
Personally, I’m always going to send my stuff via registered mail, even if it ends up costing me twice or three times as much.

wiredstag6 said:I don’t know if this is just my luck or how things work for everyone else, but my gynecologist basically operated on the "shotgun approach" with Trinovum—just hand it out to everyone first and then start looking for alternatives if it doesn't stick. Personally, I haven't actually had any issues with them yet, but I can't help but obsess over potential side effects, which has me staring down the barrel of switching to Logest. My doctor already handed me the prescription, but now I'm stuck in this mental loop wondering if I should just make the jump to Logest or play it safe and stick with Trinovum since it hasn't given me grief so far. Any thoughts? 🙂)

I started out on Diane-35 and now I'm looking at Logest—I haven't actually started taking it yet because, frankly, I'm a little terrified.

Amanda James6 said:So, here’s my take on things to get me in on the conversation...
I’ve been on Loest since about a year and three months ago... during those first two months, I was crying constantly, and the headaches were just brutal—the same thing happened to two of my girlfriends who also started Loest... My chest actually grew from a size B to a massive D; people were even making snide comments, joking that I’d gone under the knife, haha. I also put on about five or six pounds around my hips and stomach, but honestly, I don't mind it; I think it looks lovely when a woman has some curves... I read somewhere that Loest completely kills your libido, but I haven't had any issues there; if anything, it feels heightened, like I can never quite get enough 🙂 I did have some frightening sharp pains around my heart and in my legs, though it turns out it wasn't the birth control. It was actually a potassium deficiency, which was causing spasms in my heart muscle... apparently, potassium and magnesium are absolute lifesavers 🙂 The only thing I’ve truly noticed is that I’ve become much more irritable and high-strung since starting Loest, so... that’s all from me... I’m curious if any of you taking Loest
have dealt with similar stuff...

I was on Diane-35 for a few years, and my chest is a solid C—Diane didn't change my size at all. Now, I'm staring at this Logest prescription and I'm genuinely nervous. I'm worried the weight gain or the breast enlargement will hit me hard, and while I don't have a huge tummy, my hips are naturally wider... I've got curves already, so I don't need extra volume. Honestly, the idea of taking Logest scares me. But, logically speaking, if I didn't have issues with Diane, shouldn't I be fine with this one too? Is that how it works?
I’m still seeing $14.40 on my end... they haven't actually updated the price list yet—not that I’ve sent anything out lately, but I grabbed those little forms to fill out at home before heading over. I even checked with my aunt to see if I could just send it as a package and what the damage would be, and she told me it was $14.40.
I always make it a point to double-check the rate first, because a couple of times I tried sending things as packages and they ended up charging me $30 or more for some reason I can't quite pin down.

I don't actually live in New York, but—well, I know my mom had hers taken out last year—and she’s adamant that I can't handle this on my own since I'm still covered under her plan, which is how I ended up with that supplemental insurance policy they have
Anyway, I think I'll head down to that same provider office tomorrow—you know, the one where they were handing out those little info cards back then—just to see what's what. I tried giving them a ring today, but honestly, the lady on the phone was incredibly rude and just brushed me off saying she didn't know anything about it
Thanks

First off, I’m really sorry if this thread already exists—I couldn't find one, and things are feeling a bit urgent right now.
Basically, I just noticed that the paperwork regarding my supplemental health coverage—that's the thing that covers part of the medical costs, right?—says it expires tomorrow. I really need to see my dentist, so I’m hoping to get this sorted out first thing in the morning.

I’m a full-time student, so I’m covered under my mom’s insurance plan, but she honestly has no clue what the next steps are here.

So, my first thought was—get a verification letter from my university and then head down to the Social Security office...
but then there's a second possibility—just get the letter from school and then... what? What comes after that?

I remember going to the local Social Security office last year to get that little card where they scribbled some info on it, but this past year I was given this massive document filled with technical jargon—and I never actually received that orange insurance card that my parents always have lying around.

Does anyone actually know if I need to physically go to the Social Security office, or is there another way to handle this? My mom can't quite recall what the process was last year, so if anyone has experience with this, please let me know.

I haven't been able to find any information about this online, and since I need this settled by tomorrow, I'm feeling a bit frantic—I totally missed the expiration date on the paperwork until just now.😢
Yeah, obviously you can find 🙂
over in Belgium, but they’re a bit hard to come by—they aren't exactly sitting out in the open 😢
so I think I’ll actually go ahead and do some digging to see where I might track some down here at home
fadedrider17 said:Where on earth can I get my hands on some VIOLET candies? Honestly—I’d trade a small fortune for them right now..

I actually picked some up in Belgium just the other day—those little purple flowers—and they smell absolutely divine. It’s funny, though, because nobody else in my circle seems to be into them, and yet here I am, practically devouring the whole stash already. I’m not entirely sure if you can find them locally here in the States, but I’m genuinely curious if anyone knows where to track them down, since this was my first time trying them and I'm already hooked.🙂

Thomas Collins60 said:Mine are clockhouses—and honestly, we’re just gonna watch them stretch out over time...

I picked up a pair of Yessicas a few months back, and they haven't stretched at all—they're actually fantastic. My only real issue was that my cat decided one of the legs was a chew toy while I was busy filing down my nails... total chaos, really.

Thomas Collins60 said:So, I finally picked up some jeans from C&A. Honestly, I must have tried on at least ten different styles—and there were probably another ten just sitting there waiting for me. 🙂 One pair was absolutely perfect, but they didn't have my size in stock, which was such a bummer. In the end, I went with these ones; they feel good so far, though we'll see how they hold up after a few washes and if they stretch out. My biggest gripe, though, is their sizing consistency—it's all over the place. I need a 2 or 4 in one style and then a 6 or 8 in another, even though they're both C&A.
Anyway, does the C&A in a big city like Chicago really have this much variety, or am I just tripping?

Well, if you head downtown, you’ll find a massive selection of denim—everything from budget-friendly spots to high-end boutiques... $100there are tons of styles to choose from...
I bought a pair at Target once and they stretched out significantly—I grabbed a size 6, but I clearly should have gone with a 4 (you know, the Yessica brand)... meanwhile, with this other brand, the 6 was way too tight, so I actually need a size 8 (I think it's Clock House, if I'm remembering correctly).

Harold Howard7 said:Look, I posted about Diane on its own thread last year and people just laughed at me. Then my doctor told me straight up that after the healthcare reforms, they aren't supposed to prescribe Diane for free anymore because apparently, it’s not considered an effective contraceptive anymore—only for things like skin issues or regulating cycles.😕
I mean, seriously? After using it for years, he just drops that on me out of nowhere. It makes zero sense. He then suggested I try Triquilar since it has a lower hormone dose and is generally better tolerated by most people... so yeah, I've been on that for about six months now.🤷

It’s been two years since Diana and I actually managed to conceive—and honestly, looking back, there was that one time I completely blanked on taking my pills and everything just went sideways. In my experience, they really do work quite well, though for me personally, they were mostly just my go-to solution for keeping acne under control...
He gave me the longest ones—they should be just fine, I reckon. I’ll pick them up once I finish these last few Dianas I borrowed.😍

So, I’ve been following my dermatologist's advice for quite a while now—I've dealt with breakouts all over my back, chest, arms, just everywhere—and after grinding through four or five years of various creams and oral medications, she finally pointed me toward this specific option. And honestly, I’ve got it, along with all my blood work and data to prove it...
I actually use them for contraception too, though my main focus is tackling the skin issues.
But tell me, what has everyone else's experience been like with Loestrin?! Does anyone feel like it's a bit easier on the system than Diane-35?
