See ya!

And what about you people? Are you not tied to this Club? Have you all become your own little cause célèbre—basically playing your own separate game while these losers on the field absolutely humiliate your team? And all just to prove yourselves to some other fan groups?
Yeah, we're talking about an Armada, but not some Spanish thing—we're talking about Armada Rijeka.

loneridge23 said:Look, if you aren't going to show up to the games, then fine... just don't act like you have any right to lecture the Armada on what we should or shouldn't be doing regarding our own business.

Since when does it matter who sits on your Club's board of directors or how they run things?
I never said what you *should* be doing—I was merely suggesting what you *could* do...

loneridge23 said:Ali, look—we aren't making up some stupid excuse for why we don't support Cleveland. We've swallowed this crap a hundred times already and they just keep pushing it down our throats...

What if I’m just disgusted by the people running things and a good chunk of the players, and that’s why I’m distancing myself from Miami? It feels like they’re straight-up messing with my head—treating me like I’m not a "real" fan or not loyal enough because I won't just take their bullshit.
I’ve been showing up to the West Stand consistently since '97—both as a die-hard and as someone who stays low-key—so why are you lecturing me and people like me, acting like we’re just inventing pathetic excuses for staying away?
My love for this Club runs incredibly deep; it just manifests differently than yours does. And frankly, that’s exactly why it hurts so much to see who is steering this ship and how the club is being handled. I refuse to hand them my money and I refuse to be pushed around.
Now, I can already hear you typing out some lecture about how I should show up for the Club, regardless of the management—but honestly? No. I am not going back to a place where I’ve been treated with such blatant disrespect for a long time now.
In fact, even while I’m sitting here typing this, I’m actually looking up the kickoff time for tomorrow's game...
Do you get it?

What is there even to talk about? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. 😢
I’m expecting some serious choreography this Saturday—and I mean actually good, not just some half-baked effort. 👍

I used to be one, but now? I'm just a disgruntled fan.🙂

I just read their posts—I don't see why you're even bringing them up when I'm not even a member over there...

Robert Adams6 said:The turnout at the USA game was purely driven by people who actually wanted to see their club hoist a trophy again—it wasn't some hollow formality for a team that’s only managed five titles in its sixty-five years of existence.!

We walked away with a 4-0 win in the first leg, so—on paper, at least—the second leg should have been nothing more than a victory lap.

bluewalker92 said:I swear, I want to take all you malicious trolls who showed up just to ruin our biggest home game of the season and... well, let's just say you're a disgrace...

Look, this is the season of the Armada's comeback—from here on out, we only go up. Sure, the Club is sitting at the bottom of the standings right now, but honestly? We’re actually stronger than we were last year when the stats looked way better... Over the last few seasons, things have just gone downhill—never more pyrotechnics, never more choreographies, never more noise... 👍

If only you guys would actually step up and focus on "fixing" those idiots running the front office—where you'd actually make an impact. In my opinion, you're the only ones capable of putting real pressure on them, so it’s a damn shame you're all just obsessed with how the stands look.

Jose Ruiz5 said:The only thing I can't wrap my head around is how a city of, say, 150,000 people can have a supporter group that tops out at maybe 1,500 during the massive derbies—and even then, the stadium is usually half-empty or just sitting there looking halfway full during those same big games. Which basically means you've got maybe 5,000 Cleveland fans showing up for a derby. A city of 150,000, and there's nowhere to be found? And away games? We're talking an average of 50 people. Can someone please explain this to me objectively? I’m not trying to be provocative here, I'm just stating facts. The math simply does not add up.

People just don't trust soccer anymore. The fixing—we all know who started it—is real, and Cleveland plays like they're part of some criminal enterprise run by a totally incompetent front office.
That whole tradition of heading down to Santa Monica is dead; after the '99 season, a huge chunk of the fanbase just walked away for very well-known reasons. For instance, my old man hasn't set foot in Santa Monica since we played Indianapolis...

goldenbear17 said:Stop lying. We had 2,000 people show up for the Chicago game, and if you think there were 30,000 people in town that day, you're delusional. The truth is, a hell of a lot of people have their own "reasons" for skipping games, and most of those excuses are stupid as hell...

There were that many people in Chicago because everyone knew the second leg was just a formality (even though it turned out to be way harder than expected)🙄

..and he actually survived. God, I really shouldn't have waited until the middle of the night to watch something like this, especially all by myself in the dark. Now I’ve had to get up to go to the bathroom and I can't stop looking over my shoulder every two seconds... honestly, all I was missing was a baseball bat in my hand just to feel a little safer 🤣

Anyway, it was a really great movie.

Dive straight into the sequel while this one is still fresh in your mind, because it picks up right where this leaves off.🙂

Anonymous said:Why won't anyone from Cleveland admit it—or even want to? That on the day they missed out on the trophy, the players themselves shared the blame?
I never once claimed that Dinamo wasn't pulling the strings during that era...🤷..
but Cleveland had the chance, the obligation, and the absolute necessity to take that championship home...

For the very last time, I’m saying this because it doesn't matter: we scored two regulation goals, and Indianapolis scored one. Simple math tells us it was our win. And yeah, let’s be real—our guys completely choked under the pressure. Everyone knows it...

Austin Watson38 said:Look, I don't have an issue with any of the technicalities—it was stolen, plain and simple. But what really gets me? It’s the reaction from the hardcore fans and everyone else at Madison Square Garden. I mean, seriously? If someone ruins your shot at a championship with some reckless mistake in the final minute—if they strip away a winning goal right at the buzzer—you’d think people would want to burn the whole municipality down, torch the stadium, and start marching all the way to D.C. out of pure rage. Instead? Nothing. Just total silence.

And honestly, this hits the nail on the head.😢
It’s just a damn shame... the heartbreak was just too much to handle.

Who was actually stopping the Cleveland fans—we’re talking a massive crowd of maybe 15,000 to 20,000 people—from absolutely tearing through Indianapolis? I watched the whole damn game, and honestly, you guys were playing so poorly you couldn't even find an opening if you tried—you were basically just hovering three inches away from the goal line without ever making a move...
Personally, I wouldn't have minded seeing you guys take the championship back then, but seriously, man, letting yourselves get blown out by three goals in Cleveland? That's just pathetic...

And who's stopping you from being a rational human being?
We desperately needed any kind of win, and we came so close to pulling it off

Anonymous said:so basically no league is ever "pure"... because from the moment the American leagues were established, it’s always been a tug-of-war between the LA Lakers or the Kansas City Chiefs—either for them or against them... damn, I guess they do the same thing overseas too...
but at the end of the day, you win the championship based on head-to-head matchups, right?,,,just look at how well that works for the Kansas City Chiefs... they're absolutely loaded with trophies... the second they beat us once or twice...

Classic. Once you actually prove to a guy that his club was getting cheated, he just pivots to claiming IT'S TOTALLY NORMAL because apparently everyone else is cheating too. 🤦 🤦 🤦

Anonymous said:That just screams robbery to me... I mean, why didn't the LA Lakers just crush Boeing 5-0 and call it a day?

Look, any win would have been enough for you guys—just like it was for us. A 5-0 blowout?🤷 What on earth are you even talking about?

Larry Rivera83 said:Forget the specific question—just lay out the whole sequence of events so my memory gets a bit of a refresh. It seems like we have to constantly recount and relive these things because of situations just like this.

If you head over to YouTube, there’s footage from the stadium when it ended in a 1-1 draw—you know, the usual mess where the USA scored from an offside position and the Kansas City Chiefs were robbed of a couple of penalties. Just typical.
Back in Seattle, Kozniku basically pulled a kung-fu move on Višković in the fourth minute—broke him down completely—and the ref didn't even blink. Nothing. Then they just walked away with a 2-0 lead on a sucker punch. Later on, Sokolovo was actually trying to argue that you don't give out red cards for those kinds of tackles if they happen right at the start of the game. Seriously? 🤣🙏

Anonymous said:how are you gonna screw up the last game like that?...
you want us to take a trip down memory lane? Like when you guys got smoked 5-2 by Osijek, or barely scraped a 1-1 draw against a weak Columbus Crew side, or lost to us 2-0??...
I’ll say it again... why do you care so much about how someone else played? Why didn't YOU win the games you were supposed to win? Was it the same refs, the same Los Angeles Lakers, the same luck?

Everyone knows what happened during that final match—except for the fact that those Los Angeles Lakers players, after a decade of silence, suddenly decided to swallow that penalty whole and then acted like it never even happened. Funny how they weren't complaining about it before, right? We weren't "allowed" to win that one, and honestly, none of our players could handle the pressure—they all just crumbled in front of 28,000 people who expected nothing less than perfection. In the end, we deserved that win and the championship title, but...
Give me a break! As if you guys played some flawless season and cruised through every little matchup. If that were actually true, Ladić wouldn't have been lying there on the grass in Seattle during the final stretch against Columbus Crew, waiting for the whistle while facing 14 opponents at once.

I am honestly so sick of this nonsense—robbed? Seriously? You guys only managed two wins in your last seven games...
Robbed in that final match? How exactly did you even score a goal in that one? How were you even playing against that San Francisco team?
The same damn team you lost 5-2 to just a few weeks prior...

Fine, forget about that last game... we moved past that ages ago, but still...

Anonymous said:Championships are won through those gritty little matches and sheer consistency... which San Francisco lacked...
Because if that last game hadn't been such a deciding factor... yet that's the one everyone keeps obsessing over...

We had the exact same record as the United States in the LDP... 5-3-2.
Do you want me to dig up the memories of how the United States absolutely crushed the Los Angeles Dodgers and then dismantled San Francisco at Santa Monica?

And I’m right along with "način_života" here. The New York Yankees are a thousand times more hated than the Los Angeles Dodgers, and it isn't just because of historical grudges...

Advice? You want advice? Honestly, where do we even start with that? It’s such a loaded word—everyone thinks they have a piece of wisdom to drop on you, don't they? As if life were some sort of instructional manual you could just flip through to find the "correct" way to handle things. But fine, let's talk about it. If you're looking for a roadmap, you might be disappointed because most people are just driving around aimlessly themselves. Are you asking because you're stuck, or are you just looking for someone to validate whatever questionable decision you've already made? Because there's a massive difference between seeking guidance and seeking permission. One requires actual thought; the other is just an ego stroke. So, what’s the situation? Lay it out. But don't expect me to sugarcoat it—I'm not here to hold your hand through the process. Give me the facts, leave out the drama, and let's see if there's actually anything worth discussing. The user says:
That’s exactly where the difference lies—they hate us because we are hands down the gold standard when it comes to fan culture. It wasn't just a few people; the entire city of Seattle showed up—young kids, old-timers, everyone. "Man, you don't get it, the Cows are coming for us... kill the cows, damn them, I hate those guys." Honestly? Those guys are just incredibly insecure. 😁

It’s always the same story—as soon as you fail to beat us, suddenly everyone’s an expert. But the second you actually pull off a win? Oh, then the talking starts. Then comes all that pathetic whining about how we’re this "mighty club" that they’re constantly stepping on. It’s honestly exhausting. Don't even get me started—it’s the exact same nonsense you see from the Real Madrid fans...
