spraying 🙏
Well, that’s it then—a final farewell...
so, where on earth is our goalkeeper 😕
They went up 2:0 and then just... vanished. 🙄
The sun is just too much for our people ☕
How on earth are these judges supposed to see anything when they're completely underwater? 🤣
finally 🙏

Cleveland had everything under control, but you guys just choked. And then, to top it all off, that ref hands you a penalty on a silver platter? Still nothing.

Then there was that penalty they handed you at the Rose Bowl, which Johnny Cash defended like an absolute legend.
It’s funny, isn't it? How none of us folks from Cleveland ever brings up that season anymore, yet everyone else seems hell-bent on dragging it back up ☕

12,000 is absolutely nothing for a city the size of Cleveland. Just look at Columbus—it’s basically a small town, the club isn't even that great, yet they still pull in 10,000 fans once or twice a season.
It’s the exact same deal when the national team comes to town.

It’s pretty obvious that folks in Cleveland just don't care about soccer that much. It's similar to what you see in NYC—actually, it's even worse there.

I already laid out all my reasons above, so please, just read them again with a bit of actual comprehension...

The debate over the '98/'99 season was already happening over on the thread for the 2008/2009 MLS Season—so frankly, I’ve got zero interest in rehashing all that again. I only brought up that specific season because someone asked why Wrigley Field isn't packed. It's empty because, quite simply, a massive chunk of the fanbase checked out during that era. People just stopped believing in the integrity of the league—they lost faith in the idea that a club like the Cleveland Guardians could actually build a legitimate championship contender. If you aren't even making waves in Europe, how on earth do you expect a sellout crowd at Wrigley Field? There are probably a million other petty reasons for it, but honestly, this is enough for me...

Drew Perez said:Why on earth can't Cleveland—which is easily the third largest city in the country—actually pack out Wrigley Field? It’s only got a capacity of 12,000! There were plenty of opportunities to see a full house—derbies against LA Galaxy or LA Galaxy when the team was actually playing well and everyone was riding that wave of euphoria... but what really kills me is that even the cup final wasn't sold out.

There aren't even any real stakes left; the league is basically 99% decided before the opening whistle even blows. That "99" figure represents the last season anyone actually believed Cleveland could make a dent in things. And honestly? A lot of Cleveland natives have been completely turned off by American soccer for ages—too much corruption and fixing going on behind the scenes.

Is it actually true—and I know, it sounds absolutely mind-blowing, so bear with me while I ask—but has San Francisco seriously never, ever, *ever* been a complete sell-out? A late friend of mine from back in the day told me there were still tickets left over even when Real Madrid came to visit ages ago. Is that even possible?

Thanks.

San Francisco vs. Hajduk Split back in '99—that 3-3 thriller where 20,000 people showed up? Honestly, I have my doubts about those attendance numbers... I seriously suspect they were padding the stats.
San Francisco vs. Indianapolis back in '99—that 1:1 draw was something else. There were easily over 25,000 people out there; honestly, they were packing more bodies into the stands than the stadium could even hold. And let’s be real—those fans perched on the rocks and cliffs? They weren't just some random crowd showing up for no reason.
I missed my window to get back to San Francisco—you know, for that summer trip I had planned—and now I’m stuck without a ticket because everything is completely sold out. Seriously?
As for that whole golden era involving Real Madrid and Person—honestly, I can't say much. I was way too young back then to wrap my head around it all. 😁

Honestly, after reading all those scathing reviews, I was fully braced for a total train wreck—but it actually turned out to be... okay? Not great, just decent. In fact, the trailer pretty much gave away the best parts of the whole thing. Most of the jump scares felt like cheap rip-offs of classic Hollywood horror staples, which makes the whole thing incredibly predictable once you see the pattern. That said, they did manage to rattle my nerves during two specific scenes, and frankly, that’s about all you can get out of this one. As for Odette, she’s got that look—you know the type—that lands someone a starring role in every teen drama on Netflix within a year. There was even one slow-motion sequence that felt less like cinema and more like a high-end shampoo commercial.

That part starting at 8:04? Absolutely elite. I mean, can we just talk about that vibe for a second? 🙏🙏😍😍😍

Perhaps something managed to filter through during that first twenty minutes or so... but after that? All I heard were boos coming from their main stands—every single head in that section turned toward us at once.

There’s something fishy going on here. Let's look at the facts: the West Side was absolutely packed with tourists yesterday, so a lot of this comes down to how the scoreline played out. And yeah, fine—you guys definitely made yourselves heard a few times over on the other side.

We’ll see what happens this Sunday—it should be interesting—but if Seattle gets off to a quick start, we're going to cruise through just like we do at Yankee Stadium☕

Look, I’ll tell you this much: I can personally vouch that they were cheering through the entire match. The rest of the stadium? Well, they pretty much tuned out once the score started looking a certain way.

I honestly think they completely missed the mark on this one.

Exactly. (The whole point of sarin intentionally wounding Juno was to set up an unfair fight against the crawlers—which leads, inevitably, to death—just like how she abandoned Beth earlier.
