Honestly, how much longer are you actually planning to hold this spiteful grudge and just ignore the questions we've laid out so clearly? At this point, it’s crossing the line from stubbornness into just plain obnoxious behavior. Give us straight, direct answers to the hyena's questions, and explain exactly why C-sunny got banned and had her thread shut down in the first place. Just be upfront and tell us that none of us can start a new thread anymore, then leave us all alone with your three precious topics forever. It's a complete disaster.👎 Running things this way is basically amateur hour—it's an absolute letdown regarding the moderators, and frankly, you guys should be disbanded immediately. Either shut us down completely or stop messing with us by playing these pathetic little games.
Jose White18 said:That first attempt at being friendly ended with the thread just getting deleted. Please don't do it again. 🙂
I honestly still can't wrap my head around how you managed—whether you were flying solo or had some help—to pull off such an incredible act of stupidity by dragging three of the biggest threads from ZUD over here, right into the middle of these short-lived topics where everything is basically just lighthearted nonsense. The mistress threads have been around since 2007 and they’ve easily pulled more views than anything else on this entire forum, not to mention how much those discussions actually helped people out. And let's not even get started on how you guys renamed it a chat topic yourselves, which is probably why everyone is fighting about it now. On top of all that, we actually caught some attention in the news 🤣🤣🤣 Are you seriously thinking about shutting down every single thread over at ZUD just because someone dared to touch on themes of cheating, being an adulteress, or having a mistress? Seriously, what on earth were you thinking?
Nicholas King said:I had a feeling—though perhaps I should have been more certain—that only three people would actually make it through to the final sentence of my post. 🙂
Nicholas King said:The problem, quite frankly, is that there isn't a solution.
Then again, maybe there isn't even a problem to begin with. 🙂
First off, all three threads have essentially devolved into nothing more than a group chat. They’ve taken on every single hallmark of casual chatting. In that sense—while they might seem like a refuge for those dealing with infidelity or being a mistress—they actually act as a barrier, because newcomers walk right into a room full of established regulars, and it becomes painfully obvious to them.
Secondly, if we were to implement consistent moderation, it would mean nuking a massive chunk of those pages and posts, which would just trigger another mountain of backlash.
Thirdly, a total lack of moderation would cause an equally large pile of frustration—I mean, how many times can one read that mindless, useless nonsense like "girls, squeeze the triangle"? (Nanny, please, not that triangle 🤣).
Fourthly, bringing up some supposed "ruin of Life for Two" is just hyperbolic and honestly ridiculous.
And just when the general readership—meaning, the three of you who actually made it to this sentence 🙂—thinks I’m actually endorsing this decision, here comes the twist:
I simply don't see the benefit of this move. What exactly is supposed to change overnight? What new, good, or beautiful thing is going to start happening from today onward? Is there some technical necessity behind this, or is it just some rushed attempt at "thread cleanliness" within the PDFs (sic!)?
So, looking at the pure cost/benefit analysis, this move is clearly wrong: there's no gain to be had, yet there are plenty of losses. I suspect that, while likely acting in good faith, you've made a mistake. Regardless of how dramatic the reactions are—people crying "it's the end of the world as we know it"—and regardless of how much those three topics have become stagnant and uninteresting due to a monopoly of voices, just let people have their fun.
Well, first of all, you're spot on there, but that whole mistress hall thread turned into a lounge room the very second the moderators themselves decided to rename it from "Hey mistresses, where are you guys?" to "Hello mistress triangle chat topic"
I mean, sure, you jump in, crack a few jokes here and there, but honestly? I still don't see the point in any of this.
By making this move, if we ignore both our old-timers and the newcomers who are inevitably going to show up with issues related to these three specific topics, you're basically just piling a mountain of extra work on yourselves, and I honestly don't see the point. There are going to be hundreds of threads started on this subject; the only difference will be whether the mistress is some guy in a relationship, if there are kids involved, if they work together, if the cheating happened over the summer or right now, or if it was a friend versus a coworker—basically, everyone will be arguing about which adulteress belongs to whom, for heaven's sake. You guys had the perfect setup where all of us could be kept under control within just three threads; sure, things got a little messy sometimes, but I don't see the logic here, because people vent about drama during trips or when posting photos regardless, so what's the big deal? And it’s especially unfair to the new people, because they won't know the landscape and will end up opening a brand-new thread for every single little issue, and let's be real, almost everything revolves around these core themes anyway. On our usual threads, we didn't just talk about mistresses, the cheated, and the adulteresses; we talked about everyday life and relationships too, which actually saved you a ton of work by preventing a flood of unnecessary new threads. I just don't get why you're creating problems for yourselves for no reason. Then there's those of us veterans who have been here for years, people who have built actual friendships and found a corner of the internet that feels tried and true, you know? It's not a problem for me to head over to the OFF topic section—I have nothing but praise for that crew and the moderatorit, and I'm grateful for the warm welcome—but it's not like it's a big deal for me or anyone else. Honestly, I don't care whether I click on ZUD or OFF, it doesn't change anything for me, and I still just don't see the point of this whole gesture.
Roger Morgan4 said:@sorrela, you’re the one saying this medication is effective, yet the registration process is dragging its feet. It feels absurd that bureaucracy alone could prevent people from accessing it immediately. If it’s already cleared in the USA, the real question is how long it will take to get approved everywhere else. We aren't talking about just any nation here; we're talking about the USA. I realize they don't have all the answers—we might discover side effects or adverse reactions down the road—but dwelling on that doesn't help anyone. You could apply that same logic to almost any other drug on the market.
I hear you, and I did mention that the registration process moves slowly, but that's just the mandatory hurdle before anything actually hits the shelves at the local CVS or Walgreens. I wasn't even harping on about side effects or anything like that; honestly, you expect those things with any medicine, don't you? My point was strictly about the legitimate, legal ways to actually get your hands on the stuff.
Beyond that, I suppose someone could always have an aunt in Canada who happens to be a doctor, write a prescription under her own name, pick it up, and then have her sister mail it over to someone in America:
There are ways to do it, obviously; I was just talking about the official, legal channels.
Gary Cruz3 said:He’s registered over in Canada. You could probably convince someone to bring it back for you, but you’re going to need a private prescription regardless. Your primary care physician should be able to write one up for you. Good luck.
Look, if a family doctor has even a shred of common sense, there is absolutely no way they are just handing out psychiatric medication on a whim—especially when that specific drug hasn't even been cleared for sale here in the States. The entire European Union hasn't even given it the green light yet. That doesn't mean the medicine is bad or ineffective; it just means the regulatory bureaucracy moves at a snail's pace, and this is a pretty recent arrival to the market.
Anyway, sorry, but what was written above is completely off base.
And honestly, how are you supposed to just pick it up in Austria? Nobody over there is going to scribble down a prescription unless they have a formal diagnosis from a psychiatrist and everything is documented in black and white. It’s basically a suicide mission, and the liability for anyone trying to pull that off would be massive, since these kinds of psych meds can be used for all sorts of things—so the whole idea just doesn't hold water. I mean, sure, people do illegal stuff all the time, we all know that, but this isn't happening.
Jose Sanchez2 said:He’s using Stratter—which isn't covered by Medicare—but I just checked, and it is registered with the FDA.
Abilify isn't registered with them, which means he can't legally get his hands on it here in the States. 😢
That's really all there is to it. The FDA is the ultimate authority here; they call the shots, regardless of what's on the Medicare coverage list. It's pretty common to have medications that are totally legal to buy because they're registered, even if they aren't on that "positive list" for insurance reimbursement. So, he can go ahead and get his Stratter since it has the green light for distribution.
But Abilify? It isn't registered, so it can't be sold or distributed at all. Plus, looking back, it was only given the nod from the FDA in 2000.
If that medication hasn't been cleared by the FDA, then selling it is straight-up illegal. Vidjec if there's an approved generic version out there somewhere. I mean, do you think you could maybe check in with that guy of yours to see what he knows?
Jose Sanchez2 said:It doesn't make total sense to me either, but I know a guy who gets his meds through a way that isn't covered by Medicare.
The real thing to look at here is whether the drug is actually FDA-approved and registered in the States; if he checks that and sees it's cleared, then he should be able to figure out who the local distributor is—because there’s always someone acting as the rep, or the parent manufacturer has its own branch operating right here in the US:
I guess the big question is how he's paying for it—is he footing the whole bill himself, is he getting some sort of partial coverage, or is it totally free?
I honestly can't wrap my head around how one pharmacy might have certain medications sitting on their shelves while another one just down the street is completely out 😕 It’s one of those things that seems weird until you realize that every single drug hitting the market has to go through the whole gauntlet of FDA approval first, and only once they get that green light can they actually be distributed Without that official stamp of approval from the federal government, nobody is legally allowed to sell them, period
It’s really best to lean out a bit before you even think about getting pregnant.
If you start this whole journey already carrying some extra weight, things just get complicated; your body takes such a hit, and you end up being much more vulnerable to issues like high cholesterol, back strain, vein problems, or heart stress... not to mention the increased risk with blood sugar levels.
Basically, if you ask me, that should be the goal.
I’m right there with you—I honestly think that’s the most critical part! If you enter pregnancy at a healthy weight, you have that wiggle room to actually gain those necessary pounds, whereas if you start too heavy, your mindset shifts entirely because you're constantly worried about how your diet might impact the baby... that's exactly why I started this thread, to talk through the science behind it and hear what everyone else has gone through.
I’ve been spending quite a bit of time lurking around here lately, just soaking everything in while I try to map out a decent workout routine for myself. Honestly, even just having the nudge to start this thread was the little spark I needed to actually get moving. My main focus, though, has really been leaning toward nutrition; since I'm pregnant, I want to be extra careful about what I'm eating so I don't end up totally draining my body's reserves. I definitely don't want to reach a point where I'm doing more harm than good by pushing too hard without the right fuel.
Hey everyone, I was wondering if any of you experts out there might have some advice for me, please. Basically, it’s pretty straightforward! When I’m feeling my absolute best and totally happy with myself, my ideal weight sits right around 135 pounds, give or take a little. But after a long, lazy winter where I basically did nothing—I even stopped going for my usual walks—I’ve hit 150 pounds. It’s really starting to get to me, and I know I need to shake things up. The thing is, my muscle tone is actually pretty decent; people usually assume I hit the gym regularly because I feel relatively firm, and my skin is okay, though I deal with a bit of cellulite which I just manage with daily creams and massages. I should probably mention that I am a total foodie—I love eating everything in sight—though thankfully I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I rarely crave sugar, but I will absolutely demolish a savory meal. I think it would be wise to drop this extra weight now, not just so I can feel comfortable in my own skin again, but because I’m planning to start trying for a baby in a few months, and I’d rather not start that journey already feeling like I’m carrying extra weight when I know more will come with the pregnancy. So, what are my options here? What should I be eating, or avoiding? And what kind of exercise should I be looking into—should I focus on cardio, strength training, or maybe a mix of both? I do have access to a local gym, I just need to actually get around to signing up.😍 Anyway, if you have any tips, I’d really appreciate it.
P.S. My main priority is definitely preparing for the pregnancy.
Susan Diaz91 said:Look, if you’ve already fought off the virus, then it’s gone.
I’m a little lost here—what kind of consequences for the baby are we even talking about? You aren't sick anymore, and you aren't pregnant yet...
I don't follow.
Chlamydia is actually a bacterium, not a virus. Honestly, thank goodness it isn't a virus like HPV, because then there wouldn't be a cure, but since it's bacterial, it can be treated. The real kicker is how aggressive it can be; it's notorious for causing infertility, and in many cases, it's the primary culprit behind it. Since they caught it in your case, they're treating you, which is good. Just make sure you go back for a follow-up test three weeks after you finish the medication to be absolutely certain it's cleared. Good luck.
Alexander Hall43 said:Well, that's actually the whole point—I went ahead and got a biopsy done, and they didn't find anything at all.
It might be worth running another test, honestly. You should probably try a different clinic or maybe even a different specialist, because human error happens all the time, and there’s almost certainly an underlying cause for what you're feeling.
Look, I’m telling you, it could be a few days—maybe three, maybe seven, who actually knows? Honestly, just go grab a kit from CVS and you'll have your answer in three minutes flat. But hey, don't let me stop you if you're too straaaaaaaaaaaaaah to face the music.😍
It was the exact same thing for me—that day when I’m expecting it to show up, I’ve got all the usual symptoms lined up, but then nothing happens, just total silence😲 After a few days pass, my cycle finally kicks in normally without any of those warning signs😲 But honestly, I couldn't deal with the suspense anymore, so I ended up taking a pregnancy test just because I ran out of patience and needed some peace of mind
