I guess I have a quick question for you guys, though it doesn't really have much to do with this forum specifically...
How on earth am I supposed to put those little forum emoticons—you know, the ones used in posts—into an actual email?
I'm using Gmail, and I was wondering if there's some kind of code I should just copy and paste, assuming that's even a thing, or if there might be some other way to do it.
The way I usually handle things when I'm sending stuff through Outlook Express is by saving the smiley face as a picture in my local folders and then manually inserting the image into the email, but honestly, that feels like such a huge, overcomplicated hassle...
So, if anyone happens to know how to make this easier and wouldn't mind helping me out, I’d really appreciate it.

I think there might be an option somewhere in your settings to enable smileys... though you'll probably be stuck using the default ones rather than custom ones. :/

I think I saw someone ask this before. The answer was basically a hard no. They aren't planning on changing anything or adding new icons, so we're stuck hunting them down ourselves and manually pasting them into our posts. Life's good, isn't it? 😉

I was actually kind of wondering about that facepalm emoji, because I feel like they added a few more versions lately, but I don't see them on the official smiley list yet🤷

Tried to grab some emoticons from other sites, but nothing's working. 🤷 It seems to work for a few people on here, so if anyone’s willing to lend a hand, I’d appreciate it. 🙂
