So, I’m dealing with a bit of a headache here. My package arrived totally damaged during transit, which is just baffling because I did everything by the book. I wrapped the item securely inside, protected the exterior, and even made sure to mark it clearly as "Fragile." When I went to the post office, the clerk there even slapped an extra "Fragile" sticker on the box for good measure. I even opted for FedEx shipping just to be safe, yet somehow, the item showed up broken. It was perfectly intact when it left my hands—I am one hundred percent certain about that.

What kind of moves can I actually make to fix this?
I remember one time I sent off a package and specifically told them it was fragile, you know? It arrived completely shattered... and it was supposed to be a gift 😢

So, I'm wondering, what actually makes more sense here? Is it better to send an item in a padded mailer or just stick to a standard shipping box?
Can anyone help me make sense of these results?

Shoulder X-ray

Here is what it says:
The joint surfaces of the right glenohumeral joint are congruent, though some early degenerative arthritic changes are visible.
There is marginal sclerosis at the greater tuberosity of the humerus and the lateral edge of the acromion.
In the area of the humeral head, there is a linear and transverse zone of increased sclerosis—this looks like the aftermath of a previous compression fracture.
😕🤷

I really hate having to say this twice. Seriously, can we please stop using all those extra symbols—like -,.*?!@#%<%—in usernames? It's just too much.

I wasn't even trying to put a dash in my handle... I was just continuing my sentence, you know? Like... "there is no user with that name." I used a dash instead of a comma. I am fully aware we can't have special characters in names
, my sentence was just misunderstood🙂 🙂.

That’s a pretty significant change to request. You should reach out to ZgSash. If he gives the green light, then maybe it can happen.

It feels incredibly strange to me... even when I’ve sent things as far away as Miami, they usually arrive within three days at most. Is it actually possible for it to take this long? Part of me thinks maybe the guy just doesn't want to pick it up. 😠
And if it does end up being returned to me, how long does that typically take? And would I be stuck paying extra fees for that?😢

this happened to me too, actually. I sent a C.O.D. package on April 6th—that was 14 days ago, which should be plenty of time since it's an overnight service—but it’s now April 9th and nothing. It was headed to a spot just 45 minutes away from my place, so it's been traveling for three days already. I'm really hoping it shows up by tomorrow, otherwise 😢

Does anyone know how I can set up one of those GIF avatars? You know, like the moving 😁 one right above my head?

So, I’m running into this weird little glitch... I've sent four messages—maybe even more, though they didn't exactly go through in order—to this one user, yet they haven't received a single thing. And now I'm looking at my own inbox and realizing I haven't seen any of their replies either? Why on earth would that happen? I already tried clearing everything out of my inbox, but nothing changed. 🤷
Does anyone know where I might find some tweezers lying around? If I can't track any down, I might just have to make do with my fingernails 😁
I really should be sending off some glassware, but I’m already second-guessing myself... what kind of packaging can I actually use to make sure it doesn't end up in pieces? Last time, everything shattered, even though I specifically requested they mark it as fragile on the label 😢
Is there a specific cutoff time for when I can drop off a package, or is it pretty much anytime?
Well, I've got two packages due to arrive tomorrow, and I'm really crossing my fingers that I can swing by and grab them right away. If not, they'll just end up being left at the house... we'll just have to see if tomorrow brings any good news, won't we? 🙂🙂
I was just wondering... do they allow you to pick up packages on Saturdays, or is it strictly limited to business days?
😵
So, I have a bit of a situation... I sent off something tucked inside one of those bubble mailers, bought a stamp, got the address all set. I actually checked with the lady at the USPS counter to see if I could just send it as a standard letter—you know, just drop it in a blue collection box—and she told me it was totally fine. Well, I dropped it in, and now I’m starting to panic a little. What if it never reaches its destination? Usually, things move along in a day or two, but this has been "in transit" for over a week now. Is there any way for me to track down where it might be stuck? To make matters worse, right after I dropped it in, it hit me: I forgot to include my own return address. So, if it doesn't make it to the recipient, there's nowhere for it to go back to. Does anyone have any advice on what to do if it just disappears?😢
placiddrifter26 said:Your platelet count is looking pretty low. You should definitely make an appointment with a hematologist to get a professional opinion. It could end up being something completely trivial—just a minor blip that doesn't really matter—but then again, it could be something more significant, like thrombocytopenia. Even if all your other lab results are sitting right within the normal range, it’s still worth getting checked out. Better safe than sorry, right?
Did you get that referral for the hematology workup yet? I was just thinking about it... everything seems to move at such a snail's pace sometimes, doesn't it?👍

I haven't yet, mostly because my doctor told me to just hang tight and come back in a week. I actually had some bloodwork done a little while ago and the levels were already looking pretty low then, but they seem to have dipped even further since. It’s a bit frustrating, honestly. Now she'll probably just send me in for more tests in seven days anyway... so, what can you do? Thanks for getting back to me, though. 🙂
thanks for the replies 🙂
How many days does it usually take for a letter to get from, say, Seattle to Portland? I’ve got some urgent paperwork I need to get moving, so I'm wondering if we're looking at a two-day turnaround or if it'll take longer than that? please help🙂

Liposuction usually runs about $2333 🙂 and I’m actually thinking about pulling the trigger on it. I managed to drop 22 pounds, but honestly, my silhouette hasn't really changed much, which is just so frustrating
So, I managed to drop 22 pounds over the last six months... which means these 3 extra pounds I picked up over the holidays will probably melt away pretty quickly, right? 🙂
Still, I've got those midterms coming up at the university again.
