If I actually tried to pull off some spontaneous wave motion—you know, like making a star shape on the pavement—not only would every seismograph in the country pick it up, but I’d probably end up on the front page of the New York Post by morning and be the lead story on FOX news... As for the tree hugging, I do that fairly often, though it usually has less to do with the season and more to do with having way too much of certain liquids in my system... And honestly, what's so weird about talking to cats? I regularly hold full conversations with the stuffed animals I buy for my niece. (To get ahead of the inevitable question: no, I don't talk to cars. Never. But I definitely find myself chatting with the spiders lurking in the corners of various rooms in my house...)

It's pretty straightforward: we just agree on a list of 7 or 8 games to play, and everyone has to tackle every single one once. So, when the first round of dealing happens, you’ve got all seven options on the table depending on what cards you pull, then in the next round there are 6 left (minus the one you already did), and so on...
Card games, man, in every single version... I know at least a dozen different ones, though I’ve gotta admit I don't know much about those Mediterranean styles. But if we're talking about the ones I actually play most often, the heavy hitters...
1. Preference 🙂 - I never really picked up Bridge or Whist, but once you get the hang of Preference, there's no going back. It just takes over your life... 2. Lora - specifically the version where you get to pick the games. That's pure genius, honestly. 3. Belote - a total classic.
I'm just sitting here, staring at my screen, feeling completely fried... honestly, I'm stressed out of my mind. Everything is just hitting all at once and I can't seem to catch a breath... turns out, life doesn't come with an instruction manual, does it? Just a bunch of chaos and caffeine... anyway, I'll probably be MIA for a bit while I try to get my head straight... kaže: Yeah, I totally get where you're coming from. Honestly, I was the only kid in second grade who didn't get let into the school choir...
My American Idol audition for the choir (back in fifth grade, if you can believe it)... Teacher: — Repeat after me: do re mi fa so la ti do... stormyviper11: - I can't really get started without knowing what you want me to rewrite... just drop the text whenever you're ready and I'll get to work on it. Just give me the source material and I'll turn it into something that actually sounds like a person wrote it... no robots allowed... I don't even know where to start with this one... just looking at the whole situation and feeling like everyone's missing the point entirely. It’s like we're all staring at the same map but nobody can actually read the legend, you know? People get so worked up over the small stuff while the actual foundation is crumbling right under their feet. Honestly, it's exhausting watching the same arguments loop over and over again without anyone actually learning anything... anyway, I'm just rambling now. Just my two cents...mi faso...I don't even know where to start with this one... just feels like everything is hitting at once lately. It's getting weird out there. Anyway, I'll get to the point eventually... if I can find it.I don't even know where to start with this... honestly. Just looking at how things are going lately, it’s like everyone’s lost their minds. I was sitting there thinking about it, just staring at the wall, and it hit me how much has shifted. It's wild... anyway, what were we even talking about? Right. Just one of those days where everything feels a bit off... I can't even begin to explain how much this whole thing is starting to grind my gears... honestly. It’s like everyone just decides to lose their minds at the exact same time and then expects me to act like everything is totally normal. I was sitting there thinking about how we used to handle things back in the day, before everything became such a massive headache, and it really hits you how much has changed. It’s exhausting... anyway, where was I? Right. Just feels like a lot of noise for nothing... Professor: Thanks, you're good to go. You won't be in choir today...

Can someone please make sure this goes on the official record? I am officially rescinding my marriage proposal to this absolute specimen... 😬

🤣 🙂 So, there's this asylum out in Key West, specifically over in Kampor. Back home near Martha's Vineyard, if you want to tell someone they've completely lost their marbles, you’d say something like, "they're gonna end up in Key West" or "they'll be sent straight to Key West"... something along those lines... 😘
And, well, if you can read between the lines of the post above, that's not just how we talk around Martha's Vineyard, it's how people talk all over the East Coast.
I’m not even sure if all these references you guys make about being "sent to Key West" are just random, or if I’ve been wrong all this time thinking it was just some niche local slang that somehow managed to go mainstream... you know, that specific vibe people get when they say someone’s been sent to Key West... 😕 😬
Susan Clark10 said:how did we go from talking about shoes straight back to food...
Look, I’ll be the first to admit I have a thing for women's shoes 😬, but honestly, food topics just hit closer to home for me. I can actually contribute something useful there, especially since I've lived through enough culinary disasters to tell the tale... 😉
Best fast food spots we stumbled upon during our three-month ski trip through the States while cruising the Clickov patrols: 1. That one fast food joint in Madison—it stays open until 1 AM, and honestly, everything we tried there was top-tier. If I were feeling particularly salty, I’d say it was the only thing worth eating in Madison. But hey, look at me... being a jerk. 😈 2. This hidden gem on Martha's Vineyard, tucked away in a courtyard with zero signage outside. It came with this whole intense backstory about local island tin music history and a price tag that gave us sticker shock (I think the cheeseburger was like $7 or $8 back then). We were actually pretty pissed off until the food arrived... but man, it was huge and delicious. In the end, I actually felt bad for not tipping the guy more, but I'd already paid before the tasting. 3. A spicy kebab, loaded with everything, over in Newport from barba (local pride, damn it). Total classic.
The absolute worst: 1. Rubelj in Bjelovar 🙂 Look, Bjelovar is a great city and I had an awesome time there, but every single place we were taken to eat was criminally bad. I'll have to head back there eventually just to do a redo...
I am honestly repulsed by flip-flops, those weird little toe sandals, and anything else that dares to get between a person's toes. 😲 If you can't pull off sneakers even in the middle of summer, then your only real options are classic loafers. Or maybe those old, beat-up plaid slippers you found in the back of the closet, worn down so much they basically function as sandals. As for the girls, they can wear whatever they want, summer or winter, as long as the heel stays as high and narrow as possible... 😍 :fetišist:
