vividdriver13 said:It’s a killer magazine. It just sucks that over here in Canada, we’re getting everything with like a two-month delay.
The newsstands around here usually don't even see a specific issue until it's three months old. We make it work somehow, though—someone grabs a copy back in the States and brings it over for us.

I can tell you for a fact that it sells pretty well on this side of the pond too.

We actually tried to fix that whole situation and start shipping current issues to Canada and other former territories, but negotiations totally stalled out... 😢 I’m really hoping we can get things moving again sometime soon.

Noah Myers67 said:I was scrolling through some lists this morning... then I stumbled onto these two drunks trying to act like beer critics. Honestly, you guys wouldn't get it... 😁

😬

Remember how that guy introduced himself at the start of "Beer Hunter"? Not the pop star who went off the rails, but the other Michael Jackson—the one who actually passed away peacefully... He basically said, "The name's Michael Jackson. I travel the globe tasting different brews. Well, someone’s gotta do it..." 😁

Alex Scott22 said:😕 Look, I don't recall that happening. Yeah, maybe... but honestly, there were plenty of guys who got shown the door back then🤷

And unless I’m totally losing my mind here, you’re probably trying to claim that this guy turned into some drumming prodigy who’s currently tearing up Northern and Central America🙂

🤣 Actually, quite the opposite. He hasn't touched a drum kit since... ever.

He’s just scribbling stuff together on Click and some car magazines now... 😁

Alex Scott22 said:Look, I’m just saying 🙂 Reed has to be 🙂 I mean, I’m just comparing him to the last guy, which isn't exactly fair... 🙂

Man, you clearly don't know anything about good sticks, buddy. 🙄

I still remember—and this was probably at least a decade ago—when some guy showed up to test out The Villain. He was a rookie, sure, but he had massive charisma.

And you? After literally sixty seconds of him testing out the drums—the first and only time he ever did that in his life—you just rushed up to him like, "Hey, sorry, but please move, we can't play with you..." 😬

🙈

Alex Scott22 said:And yeah... he’s definitely lacking that certain charisma and stage presence you get from an old-school drummer. Plus, his timing isn't even that tight.

🤣

Are you seriously nitpicking the drummer's accuracy now?

Deadlines. ☕
And I don't even have my car right now, which sucks because I usually have to head out from Microsoft before the day is over... 😠

😢 I haven't really gone out of my way to fact-check that claim specifically.

If they happen to have a bottle on hand, just grab it from them for old time's sake... 😈

Not sure if I'm gonna make it out tomorrow... if I actually decide to go, hopefully they'll have tickets available at the gate... 🙂

I'm honestly stoked you guys are digging this issue. I was low-key worried people would lose it if we veered away from the usual stuff and started diving deep into history, but it looks like you’re actually into it... which is a relief.

Look, we aren't gonna turn every single issue into a 70% history lesson like this one 😬, but we'll definitely be leaning into that vibe a bit more moving forward. 🙂

I was thinking about keeping the tradition alive and hitting up a show under the stadium lights, but I'm honestly not sure if I'll be heading back from my trip to America that day or the next... 🤔 Nah, whatever, it probably won't be half as much fun as that gig at Jay Retard's anyway, plus the Annecy Festival is happening, so I think I'm gonna end up skipping Mr. Brown.

hiddenmoose3 said:well, at least give us a fix

Honestly, I have no clue. It just kind of fixed itself, like it just decided to stop happening on its own... 🤷

But then yesterday it started acting up again, just on a different subforum this time. 😵

Just weird...

Roger Williams3 said:Barrichello got disqualified because he pulled out of the pits while the light was still red.

Well, turns out that was actually true. It confused the hell out of me the whole time... I mean, it was obvious what happened, yet nobody even mentioned a second investigation into him...

hollowhawk412 said:The biggest tragedy is that we didn't get to see Denis Villeneuve's face when Alonso snatched that position back 😂

Yeah, honestly, that’s what I was hoping for too. 😁

It feels like General Motors being a bit underwhelming might actually be the most interesting thing about this season... it forces Alonso to just grit his teeth and fight for every inch. He’s more than capable of pulling that off without all the nonsense Kimi tends to pull when he's pushing the limit, or even Massa on a bad day. If the guys over at Enstone can just build him something even remotely competitive, maybe that fighting spirit will actually let him trade blows with the top tier every once in a while...

hollowhawk412 said:man, he just got lucky during practice...

I honestly thought we were looking at maybe a one-lap gap...

but four... and a massive four laps at that (1:27)...

yet Heikki was right there, only 0.3 behind in Q3...

It’s pretty obvious he would've been faster if they had the same fuel load...

and if you want proof, just look at Heikki's times when he
dropped back... and when he was just tucking into the pack...

Yeah, exactly, that's what I was saying—or what I was about to say. If Heikki had been running on the same fuel as everyone else during practice, and if Kubica hadn't messed up, Hamilton would be starting from third and who knows what would've happened. But given how things actually went down, I can't complain; the kid drove his heart out, totally flawless...🙂
Whether Heikki could pull off something that dominant remains to be seen in future races, once he actually gets a real shot at it...

Bradley Nelson2 said:Is it Glock or Coulthard? Because if that Red Bull hit a wall seriously, they’d just leave a smudge behind... 😲

Same here. Both those wrecks were... well, pretty terrifying how everything just disintegrated. It's like the only time you see a beautiful collision where everyone just flies off without a scratch is when it's a Ferrari, and then they just gracefully retire afterward... 😁

I honestly don't know how much we can credit Hamilton for this win. One SC saved his skin, and the other one basically handed him the advantage on a silver platter. It’s just way easier to make smart calls when you aren't constantly playing catch-up or relying on luck to bail you out... He definitely caught a break, plus he's got that massive edge within the team. If Kubica and Kovalainen had been outperforming him in qualifying, there's no way he would've pulled this off. But looking strictly at his driving during the race itself? I've got nothing against him.

hollowhawk412 said:I mean, what if Brichello just rolled into the pits like that...

I’m guessing he was running totally bone dry and had no choice, I doubt they’d call him in otherwise. Though then again, after that clown with the lollipop stick messed up, they told him he had plenty left... Hopefully they topped him off just enough.

It was interesting, I guess, even if it wasn't exactly thrilling—except for Alonso's move passing two guys at once and Kim's charge right at the start.

It honestly grossed me out seeing how much Glock's car fell apart after bouncing all over the grass. 😲
