Angela Morales said:Just fewer raves and we'll be fine.😁

So, coffee just isn't doing it for you? Seriously? You should try switching to green tea—I've heard it actually hits way harder than coffee! Honestly, I wouldn't mess around with those energy drinks either; who even knows what kind of junk is actually in them?

I haven't hit up a rave in like two years, and honestly? I’m totally fine with that. Someone actually sent me the same advice about switching to green tea, so I’m definitely going to give that a shot. Coffee just doesn't do anything for me—I've never really been much of a coffee drinker anyway. I only grab a cup if I'm out with friends, but it's never been my thing. It sounds absolutely wild to me that coffee would actually make me sleepy, though!😢

Alex, what kind of Monster Energy are you drinking?

I'm talking about this one http://www.guaranaweb.com/Actually it's super similar to Red Bull, honestly I think it's even better. I actually grab it from just across the border for $1.75 a buck..

mistyjackal842 said:It's this Clear Water brand in a half-liter plastic bottle with a Guarana and aloe vera flavor—clear bottle, green lettering. I found it at Dione over on 190 Savi Avenue, right by the intersection near Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Honestly? It tastes terrible. Just gross. If you try it, the Guarana flavor will make you want to freeze solid. There’s also this new version with peach or something similar; it’s a half-liter bottle with orange text. That peach one is actually better, though it’s a little too sweet for my liking.

If it’s really that bad and I'll be freezing from the Guarana, then even better! I might just give it a shot, but knowing me, I'll probably end up loving it.😁

I think they have it out here in the Midwest; I'm heading to Chicago next week, so I'll go hunt it down.

Matthew Williams47 said:Man, I’m totally hooked on Guarana. I’m trying to wean myself off slowly... used to be my ritual to grab one every single time I left the house, and once I finished, I'd just immediately grab another. I actually downed 6 or 7 in one sitting once! Not to mention the insomnia—I was absolutely buzzing with energy while the rest of the world was basically collapsing from exhaustion.🤣

Look, I've definitely crushed 4 or 5 Guarana in a row. It’s not even just the kick it gives me; the real struggle is how much I love the taste. Ugh, quitting this stuff is gonna be rough.

mistyjackal842 said:I tried that new Clear Water with Guarana and the taste was honestly gross. It’s super bitter—I have no idea how anyone can actually chug that stuff.

Wait, where do you even find that? I didn't even know that existed!

Emily Fisher26 said:And yeah, if you want, just swap out the Guarana for green tea. It’ll definitely give you that wake-up kick. Not that cheap bagged stuff, though—get some loose leaf. Just heat your water to about 140 degrees and let it steep for 3 minutes. That’s the secret to doing it right.

!

Thanks for the tip! I’m definitely gonna give that a shot and see how it goes. Honestly, I'd much rather stick to something natural than be pounding on those Guarana energy drinks all day.
Is it safe to drink raw eggs? in Health ·
I don't even know what to say about salmonella. I still eat raw eggs myself, but never in the morning—usually just late at night when I’m on one of those diets and the hunger hits me hard. People always claim it's super healthy to knock one back first thing in the morning, you know how that

One egg every single morning gives your body all that extra kick, hehe

Emily Fisher26 said:Honestly, I don't know how you can even function on 3 or 4 hours of sleep. One time I had one too many and I was seriously on the verge of a total nervous breakdown that night.

Look, you didn't say if you've actually tried cutting back and just can't, or if you haven't even tried yet and are just checking to see if anyone else has been there.
My advice? Just quit cold turkey right now. Don't "scale back," just stop. Take a second to look at your priorities and ask yourself if you really need to be sprinting through life like this.

And hey, hold up—this is caffeine we're talking about. Caffeine absolutely trashed my stomach. Plus, one of these days you're just not going to be able to sleep at all, and honestly, you're looking at a real risk of a stroke. No matter how much energy you think you're pumping into yourself, your body and brain are just getting totally wiped out.

Seriously, rethink what actually matters!!!

Fingers crossed for you!

To be real with you... I haven't tried quitting. Even though I know it's dangerous—I don't know exactly how, but I definitely know it's bad for my heart—I just haven't made the move. And this constant rush I'm in? Man, everything feels important. From my kid to college, and work popping up here and there... it's hard to decide what to prioritize when everything feels like a top priority.

First things first, try getting your life together so you can actually get some sleep—aim for at least 6 hours a night. Second, just stop drinking that stuff.
It would be super helpful to know why you aren't sleeping and why you're trying to stay awake in the first place.
Also, if you keep living like this, you're gonna end up with massive sleep issues later and be stuck popping sleeping pills.

Look, I'm just going through one of those phases right now where I can't get much sleep. It's not even that I don't want to, it's just that certain responsibilities keep me busy. So, to actually function, I end up drinking a ton of Guarana because it gives me that energy boost I need.
Addicted to Guarana in Health ·
For those who aren't in the loop, this stuff is basically an energy drink just like Red Bull. Honestly, I can't even function without it. But it’s more than that—I'm knocking back like 3 or 4 of them every single day, even though you're really only supposed to have one.

My life is pretty much a mess right now and I'm barely sleeping, maybe 3 or 4 hours a night. Guarana is the only thing keeping my focus from totally tanking. It definitely works, but I think I overdid it because I'm starting to feel some serious jitters and anxiety... I know it's probably not great for my heart, but I'm just struggling here.

Has anyone else been through this? Can anyone give me tips on how to cut back, or maybe tell me what actually happens if you go overboard on the Guarana??

It honestly helps me push through the day since I'm so sleep-deprived, but I really need to scale it back because I'm low-key terrified of the side effects.

Second, the fact that you clearly despise Basta (and me) simply because of our political leanings tells me everything I need to know about your character.

Third, I was clearly joking around here, but you seem to take absolutely everything I say with deadly seriousness.

Fourth, stop spamming this thread; it’s not what this discussion is about.

Man, why are you getting all worked up for no reason?
I mean, what else can you expect from someone with those liberal leanings...
We've all seen how they handle politics.

I'm rooting for you and really hope you land that moderator spot when the time comes.
Catch ya later.

Michael Martinez86 said:Hey everyone, I’m Michael Martinez86, but honestly, you can just call me Pete. I wanted to drop a quick thought about one of those weird, totally authentic dynamics we see popping up between people—the kind that catches you completely off guard when you finally realize what's actually going on. Let's be real: we all have our own little quirks and "perversions" tucked away, hiding them like snakes hiding their legs. Nothing gets my gears turning quite like discovering someone else's secret side. It really makes you stop and think: if we're being honest with ourselves, aren't we all being a little hypocritical?

"Ho ho ho!" That’s exactly what good old Santa Claus would say.
Prof. Gail put on an act, then kept going in this totally ridiculous voice:
"Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho!" A cynical teacher just delivers a heavy blow to the idea that students actually know what they're doing.
And then Prof. Gail goes on, her voice cranking up as she starts letting out these huge, dramatic sighs:
"Oh! Oh! Oh!"—that's exactly what some middle-aged lady would moan after getting totally ripped off by a junkie in a public restroom.
Prof. Gail is this stocky, scruffy little guy who somehow manages to pull the hottest guys in town. Honestly, looking at his totally average face and hearing his voice, you’d never guess—people actually started calling him "crazy" Rasputin because of his insane luck with women. Well, right after he finished the first act of his own little solo drama, he snagged his lover, strapped him down with belts and chains, and kicked off act two:
What have we got here? Oh man, check out that muscle! (And yeah, I said it like that just so you know exactly which little rodent I was talking about.)
pa:
Whoa, check out those muscles! (And yeah, I definitely meant that with a little extra emphasis—you know what I mean!)
It was a special kind of torture designed specifically for his lover, the sharp-looking and well-built butcher, Joe Pandžić. Manly Joe worked at one of those local butcher shops like a high-end Whole Foods, and whenever he stood behind that counter—wearing a crisp white shirt with the collar popped just enough to show off those dark curls peeking out from his powerful chest—the housewives would practically lose their minds. Now, Joe Pandžić actually found Prof. Gail’s linguistic displays to be a total nightmare, though for completely different reasons than his lover realized. See, Joe was actually a pretty subtle guy. He chose the butcher profession as a deliberate cover for his sexuality. He was terrified of being judged by the neighborhood, and he figured nobody would ever suspect him while they watched him hacking away at beef with massive knives and cleavers all day. Plus, he earned quite a reputation as a pro at prepping meat for the holidays. It never took more than one swing to shut up a squealing pig. But all of that was just a mask. At home, single Joe would get drunk on poetry and daydream about being filled up. He met Prof. Gail online through a chat room, and before long, their sessions became a regular thing. Crazy "Rasputin" had some serious prejudices against Joe. Even though he found Joe incredibly attractive, he stubbornly insisted that Joe was nothing more than "basic material." During their sessions, Rasputin would drone on with nonsense, thinking Joe was just enduring his scholarly, incomprehensible rambling, when in reality, Joe was actually suffering through the sheer flood of stupidity coming out of Gail's mouth. Regardless, the more frayed Joe's nerves got, the more he craved Rasputin’s touch. After Rasputin’s long bouts of verbal tyranny—usually punctuated by the occasional crack of a whip—Joe would finally get what he wanted. Rasputin would most often finish hard in Joe's mouth. The guy had this wild equipment, about the size of a thumb but incredibly lively and durable. Once he finished in Joe's mouth, he wouldn't even let it go soft; he’d immediately move straight to Joe's much-desired ass, pounding away there for ages without stopping. Rasputin’s way of screwing Joe was so intense that Joe would actually manage to climax twice without even touching himself. And since he was tied up, he couldn't have touched himself if he wanted to! By the end, exhausted by passion, Prof. Gail "Rasputin" and Joe would both collapse onto the rug. Once they caught their breath, it wasn't unusual for the unpredictable professor to pinch Joe's earlobe between his thumb and forefinger, give it a sharp tug, and whisper a little rhyme:
- "The ear fell fast asleep
while lunch was being made
so how's it gonna hear
when Mom calls out loud?
But that very same ear
wouldn't be deaf at all
if birds were calling it
to hop around on the roof..."-

you're throwing shade with some pretty wild stuff, man😂😂

I don't know, man, everyone on Reddit seems pretty chill to me, but I’m thinking Aaron Harris2 is gonna be my favorite. The guy seems totally solid and fair—I feel like if he starts handing out bans, it'll actually be to people who deserve it. Honestly, Jacob Wilson50 really caught me off guard, too. She called me out a few times before and gave me some well-earned warnings, but then I started this thread on Reddit that was basically just for betting—it barely even had anything to do with the sub—and it ended up turning into a total mess of random chatting and spam. Even so, people kept posting there and it was actually kind of fun. I was fully expecting to get banned the second I hit "post," but nothing happened. It’s wild, I didn't even get a warning
