Best protein powders for muscle gain? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
Look, it doesn't really matter, I'm just curious—when I'm ordering supplements from overseas, is it better to go with an international express courier or just the standard international postal service? The first option is way faster and costs basically the same. I’ve been hearing some pretty annoying stories lately about issues with the mail

Where can I actually pick up some Isobolic from Nutrabolics, and more importantly—is it even worth the hype?
Extremely dilated pupils—is this normal? in Health ·
So, here's the deal—I've had these tiny, pinprick pupils for a long time now. Honestly, maybe forever. I first really noticed it maybe three or four years ago. Whether it's bright light or pitch black, my pupils stay shrunk down, covering almost the entire iris. My coworkers used to give me crap, asking if I was on drugs or something, but I'm clean. No meds, nothing. My vision is perfectly fine, though. I don't know anyone else who deals with this "issue"... so, does anyone actually know what's going on here? 🙏
Adobe Premiere Pro in Software ·
I'm still running Adobe Premiere Pro—never actually heard of the ninth version... 😕

It’s a solid enough program, though you really have to watch which file extensions you're messing with—otherwise, you'll just end up staring at a black screen...

(not to mention it costs an absolute fortune 😍)

Anderson, if you actually gave them a bit more breathing room, maybe we wouldn't be in this mess😉
How do I delete my profile? in Forum Help! ·
Sure, it can be deleted 🙂

but you’d have to pull off some massive screw-up—something way worse than just spamming 🤣

Plenty of people have been kicked out... for major offenses, obviously... though that sometimes involves an IP ban, which isn't exactly ideal, so feel free to hang onto your permanent access 😉

Struggling to sleep? Any tips? in Health ·
Morgan Torres said:So, what kind of work do you do? Also, since you're up all night... how much sleep do you manage to get during the day? How do you even function once the sun comes up?

Not doing much right now while school is in session. During the day? It depends—I never quite manage to sleep through the whole thing, whether it's the first half or the second. I usually just end up feeling weak and exhausted during the daylight hours. 🤷

Harold Edwards46 said:Look, if you ask me, there was only one person here who actually gave you a real, thoughtful response, and you just completely brushed it off...

There’s no way I’d ever ignore a post like that. ☕

That person was actually a huge help via DM—they were digging for a ton of info, so we just moved the whole conversation to private messages to hammer out the details.

Angela Wright said:You should probably get your thyroid checked out.
My old man started dealing with all this insomnia, tossing and turning, night sweats, then his hands began shaking, and he started dropping weight like crazy... basically, his thyroid was a total disaster. He ended up getting prescribed some medication and he’s doing fine now.

I hadn't realized that... Maybe I should actually go ahead and schedule an appointment.

Susan Thompson19 said:Maybe try finding some ways to actually unwind—like cutting back on the cigarettes or skipping the coffee if you happen to be a smoker or a caffeine addict myself!

I know, I know—unwinding would probably do me some good, but honestly, the last three months have been an absolute gauntlet of stress. And despite all that, I haven’t touched a cigarette or even a cup of coffee... just to add to the misery.

If you look at my post history, most of it lands between 11 PM and 7 AM, mostly because sleep is a foreign concept to me and I just end up scrolling through these forums instead. 🤷

It’s 5:00 AM now, and I’m approaching my 54th straight hour of being awake. I’m irritable, my head is pounding, my eyes are burning, and honestly, I’m just utterly exhausted—but the second I actually try to lie down, I just toss and turn all night for nothing 🤷. This hasn't been a one-off; I haven't had a decent night's rest in probably three months. So, what’s the move? Should I try to push through until I hit 100 hours? Or should I just go find some sleeping pills?

Purely intellectual. ☕

Thanks for the killer advice—if my doctors actually give me the green light, I’m all in.

My schedule is a total mess... Some days I'm all over the place—sometimes I head out at noon, other times it's 9 AM, depending on how things shake out...

I have a feeling I won't even hit the pillow until around 10 tonight...🤣

Thanks for the incredibly helpful advice. 🙂

Inter Milan fans are something else—it’s like being part of a cult that somehow survives on pure spite and espresso. You have to respect the grit, though. Even when things go sideways, they just lean into the chaos. It’s a specific kind of madness. kaže:
Maybe start by actually turning your computer off.

If that doesn't do the trick, just knock back a shot of bourbon and you'll be out like a light in seconds.

So I turn it off, and then what? It’s not like that actually fixes anything... Besides, I haven't exactly developed the habit of fixing my problems with a shot of bourbon. 🤣

Harold Stewart3 said:There are more of us out there. I haven't slept properly in days—honestly, if I'm being real, it's probably been a month. Though I'm not quite on the level of someone like Taylor Swift... I still manage to crash for an hour or two during the day...
Taylor Swift 👋 you getting any sleep? 😁

Can't sleep. 🤷
You're all asleep at the wheel right now. 🤷
I’m honestly worried I won't be getting much sleep tonight...

Exactly. If you look at my post history, most of it goes down between 11 PM and 7 AM—mostly because sleep is a foreign concept to me and I end up doomscrolling this forum instead. 🤷

I'm irritable, my head is pounding, my eyes feel like they're burning, and honestly, I'm just completely wiped out—but the second I actually try to lie down, I just toss and turn all night. No sleep whatsoever 🤷. This has been going on for a while now; I haven't had a decent night's rest in at least three months. So, what's the move here? Do I try to push through until the 100-hour mark? Or should I just go grab some sleeping pills? 🤷

No need for a lock. It’s unnecessary.
Ruptured eardrum in Health ·
I really hope we aren't talking about scuba diving or even just some deep freediving here—because if that earplug is still in, you're asking for trouble. Between the external water pressure and the way an earplug pushes against your eardrum, things can go south incredibly fast. And honestly, once a drum ruptures with a plug stuck in there, getting it out becomes a whole different nightmare. Just a heads-up: don't go deeper than ten feet with a plug in your ears 👍.

Morgan Walker5 said:Hey! I’m actually curious—how much does a typical Saturday night out cost you guys? My house was basically a debate club about this today. As you can tell by my lack of social life, I stayed in because my husband refuses to step foot outside unless he's got at least $167 in his pocket. Personally, I think that's a bit much. I’d be fine going out with way less than that.
I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially from couples who actually head out together!

Look, it really just depends on where you're heading 🤷. If you're grabbing dinner at a high-end steakhouse, even $1,000 might not cut it, but if you're just hitting up a local bar, $100 should be plenty. 🤷

Oh, sure. I just think I'm breaking all the wrong things (heads, for instance 🤷). I really should be venting on something material instead... 🙄

stormyheron4 said:Does anyone actually know the protocol for when a weirdo platypus decides to attack you?

Poke it, shoot it, knock it out, kick it right in the beak, pelt it with rocks, or just go for the eyes... Or, you know, just run. 🤷

stormyheron4 said:Here’s another little nugget of wisdom that—let’s be honest—probably hasn't crossed anyone's mind. What’s the absolute best sport for self-defense? Track and field, obviously. 🙂 If you end up squaring off with some thief, you can easily land a solid punch to the ribs. But if you just run? They won't bother chasing you—most thieves are lazy enough to steal just because they don't want to work, so running isn't worth their effort. Or maybe they're just junkies who lack any semblance of cardio. You just run somewhere they wouldn't even think of following.

Really? I wouldn't go that far... I remember back during those skinhead attacks, there was this guy caught at a train station at 2 AM. As soon as he realized what their deal was, he tried to bolt, but three or four of them took off after him. Once they caught up, they absolutely laid him out—concussion, multiple broken bones from a baton, the whole works. And of course, they had to ask where he was from and mock him for running, otherwise, he might have escaped without losing his wallet, phone, and jewelry... So, look, either you have to look like one of them, or you need to carry a blade at least 15 inches long, or a gun—airsoft or real. Honestly, man, there isn't much of another option.
