The whole thing stems from some ridiculous comment by A. Hebrang—something so trivial it managed to pull in ten replies in two days—but hey, if we're all just here to bash the Republican Party, I guess any topic works.

Most people think psychiatrists are cold or callous. It’s because patients walk in expecting a warm hug and some comforting words, but instead, they get a blank stare and a prescription for xanax. 😍

In fact, doctors often act that way on purpose when dealing with hypochondriacs or people constantly convinced they’re about to faint.
"Well, just faint then," the psychiatrist might as well say. 🤣

And usually, once the patient gets offended by that, the panic attack miraculously disappears. 😍

If you kept up with the tech news, you'd know the 6870 is much closer to the 5870 and GeForce GTX 470 than anything else, and the 460 1GB is basically left in its dust☕

Nvidia is going to start slashing card prices drastically starting October 22nd, so you can probably expect the 460 with 1GB of memory to drop by $433 within a month—which isn't exactly bad news.

If you actually asked for evidence regarding those vague claims, you were immediately branded a troll, a spammer, an off-topic nuisance, or some other kind of negativity.

I support the moderator bluemason3 being fair—allowing actual debates to happen, punishing insults regardless of which "side" they come from, and avoiding handing out bans for trolling (it's better to just delete the posts).

Debating something is the bedrock of democracy, but there's no debating that the Earth is round. That has nothing to do with mysticism or the fringes of science; it's just a fact.

First, turn it into an ISO file. ☕

Burn that Windows 7 "normally" onto any DVD media, or if you have a rewritable one, use that so you aren't wasting a blank disc.

I used to run into issues trying to burn bootable DVDs from ISO files I'd made myself, until a random software update changed everything. It wasn't originally meant for this, but it handles it perfectly now.

Grab the latest version of Format Factory.

Once it's installed, go to > ROM device/DVD/CD/ISO

Then select DVD/CD to ISO/CSO
Assuming you've burned your Windows 7 to a blank DVD by now, just pop it into the drive.

Click Convert.

After that, just hit "Start."

It’ll whip up an ISO file pretty quickly in Documents>FFOutput

Now, install ImgBurn.

Once you open it, go with the option Write image file to disk.

At the top, you'll see Please select a file... > click the little yellow folder icon and import that Windows 7 ISO you just made in FFOutput.

Put a blank DVD in the drive, hit "Write" at the bottom, and the program will automatically set the speed to 4x. Once it's done, your Windows 7 should be bootable (provided all the files are fine, specifically the bootmgr).

It sounds strange, but it's true—I struggled using other programs to make a bootable Windows boot, but this new version of Format Factory makes a flawless ISO file. ☕

Do you actually have any version handy to make a bootable Windows 7 drive, or were you thinking about just making a boot image from the C partition?

I’ve never quite wrapped my head around the whole web forum phenomenon, specifically regarding:

It’s a fascinating psycho-social study, really.

If it weren't for people willing to WORK FOR FREE, an owner could shut down a site like Reddit tomorrow. It wouldn't even be worth the cost of the servers if you had to actually pay five or six moderators to stay online.
