stretchers aren't really for that if we're talking about the same thing, like shoe trees. those are just meant to keep the shape when you aren't wearing them, which is pretty essential if you have a big rotation and some pairs sit around for a while . to stretch a shoe, then maybe go get some quality shoe trees—strictly wooden ones—that stay inside whenever you aren't wearing them
Man, whatever. I was just looking for some stuff, you know? Did a quick Google search on a tech forum while I was at it.
Turns out I can't even check my grammar because I don't have the language pack installed. Great. 😠 Guess I'm heading back to the university library tomorrow. Just hanging out with the undergrads, haha. 🙏 Honestly, screw people who can't even handle studying on their own.
hey, quick question, kinda urgent. my wife finished up a term paper and now I gotta make sure the page numbering starts on the second page, but without showing a "0" on the cover.
basically, the first page stays blank, then the second page kicks off with 1, and so on.
Man, I was totally gonna sit down and write this whole thing, but something glitched out on me so I just gave up. Fuck, it’s like every time I drop by, I want to grab a couple of shirts from Replay, but then they’re always out of stock for days. Look, I’m not trying to tell anyone how to live their life, but maybe just be a bit more selective about what you buy? It’d save us all from constantly dumping random junk. Personally, I’d rather just pick up one solid piece, especially when I know it’s actually worth having and I can wear it with some actual style—especially sneakers.
Man, Diesel is basically half the price, plus none of these even fit right. What size are you even looking at? 😁
I don't know if you noticed, but I mostly stick to classic straight cuts or stuff that barely tapers. Nothing with extra details or random crap. I hate it when people stare at my brand name, so I'm not really into DSQ, for instance. I just like all shades of blue—prefer the lighter ones, I guess. Just how I like it. Basically, any low or mid-rise DG model with a straight cut works okay for me if they stretch a bit at the button. 🤣 So I grabbed a few pairs in size 36 since I can't squeeze into a 34 anymore, and even these feel tight. I'm done buying stuff for a while. I've actually started trying to lose weight, so I probably won't be going out much anyway.
The only real headache is the fabric quality because it varies so much, so I don't order anything online. Unlike Diesel, which always seems to have that soft, high-quality cotton.
And I'm not really looking into new brands. Honestly, I just lost interest in all that a while ago. 🤷
Diesel is more than alright with me. I’m down with everything else you said, though. Lately, I’ve been picking up most of my Dolce & Gabbana pieces over in Italy. The material quality is all over the place depending on the model—you'll find some stiff ones that feel cheap if they're on sale, but then there are these top-tier pieces D&G usually doesn't even bother making. Perfect cut, great design, and high-end soft cotton. My only gripe is that most of them have that little metal plate on the button that you basically have to rip off because it actually gets uncomfortable when you're sitting down😠. I ended up ruining one pair doing that, so I just hand-stitched them instead. Now they've got this unique custom look and they're easily my favorites🙏😁
Can you actually use Windows 7 normally? Like, does everything just work? Vista keeps screwing me over, so I'm thinking maybe I don't have to crawl back to XP. I just need stuff to run without lagging—specifically PaintShop and Premiere—plus all the basic programs.

Back at the station and I'm seeing the exact same posts from you. What, are you on something or what? Why are you acting so stupid?
My old man brought up some random issue again—well, part of it, anyway. It was supposed to be my problem to deal with, but now he’s just sitting there enjoying himself while I'm stuck. Honestly, at this rate, he'll probably try to claim the whole world for himself too.😬Anyone know if you can actually find Gemstone around here?
hey, so, looking for a globe. needs to be actually decent, not some cheap crap you'd find at a gas station in middle-of-nowhere Ohio. anyone know a spot around here? maybe somewhere online I can order from, but it better not be shipping from halfway across the world just so I get hit with a massive international shipping fee. i kind of need it ASAP.
yeah, I'm a bit too loaded for this to work my way, I guess
btw, idk why they don't take PayPal. their deals are solid, they'd definitely pull in more customers if they did🤷 basically you gotta use a credit card or beg someone in the States to cover you😠
First off, it’s hard to tell how a specific cut will actually fit you until you try it. Like you said, it depends on your build. It doesn't necessarily mean they'll stack on your sneakers; maybe you have longer legs or you're just taller. Usually, these models have a 34" inseam, but who knows. I’m a bit taller myself, and out of maybe 40 pairs of jeans, not a single one stacks heavily—if they do, it's barely noticeable. I'm not a fan of that "stacking" look anyway. Since I mostly wear boots, it would probably look even stupider than it would with sneakers
I guess you're right about those cuts. I've looked around a ton and there aren't many. Here are some shots from Revolveclothing.com. I actually just bought my first pair of sneakers from them yesterday (http://i43.tinypic.com/2qbu9t5.jpg). They look a bit stacked in the photo, but since I'm taller, it should be fine
That first model is this one. The brand isn't Levi's, it's actually 7 For All Mankind
Regarding the rips, you gotta distinguish between cheap sneakers and the slightly pricier stuff. On cheap ones, it's just basic holes, but on higher-end, quality brands, it's done really well. It's not really "rips" at that point, just carefully executed style details. You don't have to worry about the pants falling apart. Also, maybe it's just me, but I'm not really into that look either🤷
Yeah, honestly, some things are just hard to find because they aren't really wearable anymore. Something like this? http://ns1.revolveclothing.com/image...E-MJ216_V1.jpg http://ns1.revolveclothing.com/image...E-MJ216_V3.jpg http://ns1.revolveclothing.com/image...E-MJ216_V2.jpg
Personally, I think it's probably better to just adapt a bit instead of stressing out trying to hunt down the perfect bra. Why limit yourself like that? At the end of the day, it's just what you want.🤷
Yeah, he went through a bunch of stuff, but nothing really hits the mark. I mean, there are all kinds of jeans out there today—different cuts, colors, faded, unwashed, slim, baggy... where'd you get the idea they're all just wide and shapeless? 😕 Also, there are plenty of other brands besides Levi's, too. You didn't actually ask for anything specific, because if you had, we'd know.
Look, if you're hunting for those tight flare cuts with the high waist from back in the 70s, good luck finding them. Honestly, it’s probably better that way. If I saw someone walking down the street in those, I’d think they were wearing a costume. Pretty sure I'm not alone in thinking that. 😬
Not much to debate here. ND just has way better songwriting and more distinct vibes across the board. It’s not just about "Don't Speak"—you actually have to listen to their whole discography. Someone mentioned Bathwater earlier, though I can't believe I missed that in the previous post.😲I guess during that era, Gwen was actually showing some real personality and artistic flair. But then her solo career got so caught up in the media circus and public opinion that she just merged with whatever trend was happening. It became all about the outfits and the magazine covers being just as important as the music itself. Which is why the whole thing ended up like most music today... basically crap.
thanks, i don't really care about benchmarks, just wondering if anyone knows where I can find data on power draw and heat dissipation for a specific clock speed at a certain voltage
