Hey everyone, I’ve run into a bit of a situation here and I need some quick cash, like right now, just for a single day. I’m thinking about pulling some money out using my Mastercard, $833 but does anyone actually know what kind of interest rate they hit you with on those cash advances? And more importantly, can I just pay it all back first thing tomorrow morning? I consider myself pretty savvy when it comes to credit cards, but this whole Mastercard cash advance thing is a total mystery to me. Is it even possible to just dump the money back onto the card once it’s a credit account, or am I screwed? Thanks, folks.
I mean, there are some seriously offensive handles floating around here, like "active daddy" or whatever—WTF, seriously? Like, if that's the vibe, then sure, I'll just go ahead and change mine to "pedophile mommy," is that cool with everyone??
Hey, quick question—is it actually possible for me to change my handle from dustybear9? Like, how many times can I swap it out before it gets old? Thanks for putting up with me and helping me out!!
You can do it, dustybear9, just reach out to Sash. Just a heads-up though, you only get one shot at changing it.

Hey, sorry, I'm finally here!
Look, if you’re going to do this, you really need to make sure everything is spotless, seriously. You can use some rubbing alcohol or even just grab some high-grade isopropyl from the local pharmacy—I always used to pick up that specific brand from the drugstore near my place, and it worked wonders. Pro tip: throw some ice on your ear first to numb the area so it doesn't hurt as much. Also, you should definitely mark exactly where you want the placement so your piercer doesn't mess it up later; trust me, you don't want to end up with some green-tinted scar tissue because they missed the mark. I handled mine perfectly, but honestly, I've seen way too many people get completely botched by their local piercer. So, look, you just take a ring and use that to actually pierce the hole—don't even think about using needles because you’re honestly just going to end up making a complete mess of it. Once you’ve got the hole made, you just keep it closed from the other side, but whatever you do, don't go squeezing it or you'll end up with a swollen earlobe that looks ridiculous. Everything should pretty much settle down after a day or two, and it'll be totally healed within about two weeks if you play it smart. You really ought to rotate the ring a few times throughout the day and make sure you're cleaning out any gunk or buildup daily using just a little bit of salt dissolved in some warm water. And for heaven's sake, don't pull the ring out until the piercing is completely healed; you'll know when it's ready, and then you can go ahead and wear whatever jewelry you want. Just be careful and stay sharp, obviously. I mean, I still remember seeing people try to do this who were clearly out of their minds... honestly, even a few of the guys on the local football team tried it like total idiots.

Back when I was a kid—maybe 7 or 8 years ago—I got my ears pierced with one of those piercing guns. Everything seemed fine then, but the holes closed up almost instantly, like within two or three weeks. Now I’m just left with these little scars. My mom keeps telling me I shouldn't bother because my ears will just heal over immediately. Is she actually onto something here, or is she just talking nonsense? Like, can I even get this done? My ears look totally normal, so I have no clue why she’s being so dramatic about it. Thanks in advance. 😉
You can definitely get them pierced, obviously 😍 you just have to wear stainless steel earrings, you know, the medical grade stuff, until they fully heal, and after that, you can wear whatever you want! if you've got a decent pain tolerance, you could honestly just do it yourself at home or ask someone who isn't a total wimp 😂 I ended up doing mine by myself 👍
I’m digging it so far, though I wouldn't say I'm really "listening" to it yet—more like just letting it wash over me, if that makes sense? Not sure how much else to say, honestly. It doesn't feel quite as heavy or punchy as that first one, but those are just my initial vibes, you know? I probably need to sit with it for a few weeks before I can give a real verdict... or maybe even a few years, lol
haha so is there actually a thread around here where we can talk about downloading stuff illegally and those sketchy pirate versions of Windows that, let’s be honest, pretty much everyone is running anyway? I really don't want to catch a ban over something so trivial, and I definitely am not about to drop a hundred bucks on a license when anyone with half a brain can just whip up a perfectly fine $17 using a key and all that other magic to make it look like a "genuine" copy. thanks
Hey everyone, what's up? So, through a series of rather unfortunate events, I've recently become the unlucky owner of a Dell laptop, which, if you ask me, feels like it's mostly just a giant pile of cheap plastic. Even though it gets the job done well enough, I’m feeling pretty skeptical about the whole thing. Anyway, setting that aside, I rely heavily on the hibernate option because it's just so convenient—the second I fire the machine up, all my apps are right there waiting for me, so I don't waste any time reopening everything. On every single computer I've owned in the past, this worked perfectly fine, but on this one, it's hit or miss. Sometimes it works, but other times I get slapped with that dreaded blue screen—which obviously can't be a good sign—saying something about "dumping physical memory" or whatever, and then it asks if I want to "start Windows normally." I have no clue what that's even about, though I did hear somewhere that hardware issues might be the culprit here?? Hopefully, you guys can help me out!! Thanks!!

I'm a guy, thanks though.😂
Since I don't even have any special American characters on my keyboard, I highly doubt I'm actually on the US layout! It’s not even that big of a deal, honestly, it just drives me crazy when I have to hunt for certain keys because the "@" and the "\"" symbols are all swapped around or something. Oh, and I also caught that infamous KB 971033 update—I'm guessing you know exactly which headache I'm talking about and how to scrub it from the system entirely. You don't exactly strike me as a hardcore Windows 7 enthusiast, but hey, I don't think the OS is actually that bad, you know?
So, how am I supposed to figure out which layout my keyboard is actually using? Like, what should I even set as the default? Some of my keys aren't even doing what they're supposed to—for example, when I hit the "@" key, I get a double quote instead, and vice versa. Does anyone have any bright ideas on how to tell them apart?
Man, I just picked up a new laptop—an MSI, though honestly, that’s kind of beside the point right now—and I’m pretty annoyed with the setup because it came with a US layout. It doesn't bother me too much personally, but since the US layout isn't even installed properly, I’m basically playing a guessing game trying to figure out where all the symbols are located, if you know what I mean. Does anyone know how I can actually change the settings so the keyboard input actually matches what’s printed on the keys? Thanks.
Quick question for the group—is there any way to actually order a recovery disc online if my Windows is legit? I’m talking about using the product key to get one or something? Thanks!
Hey everyone, so I just got some lab results back and they flagged me as positive for anti Hepatitis C antibody at 0.395, which apparently means there's some kind of reactivity in the initial screening for the Hepatitis C Virus, though the report claims it’s not an actual infection but just what they call "false biological reactivity"...
Does anyone here actually know the deal with this stuff? I'm honestly spinning out a bit and feeling pretty lost, and I can't even get a hold of my doctor until later this afternoon to clear things up... 😢😢

They've got everything listed right on their website if you want to go digging... honestly, have you checked out Plan B? I think they're pretty damn cool 🙂
😢 yeah, but honestly, I’m pretty lost navigating that site, and even when I actually manage to grab a file, I have absolutely no clue where it ends up on my machine or how the hell I’m supposed to get it running... 😲
