They’re going to catch us, and we’ll end up burning through our entire starting lineup 🙄
Unfinished, just play until the end 🤣
We aren't quite hitting full capacity yet.
rowdyowl said:Do I really want these amateurs—who are rooting against thirty-year-olds who haven't accomplished a single thing in twelve years—to embarrass our entire nation by actually winning a medal now?

No thanks. VIVA SPAIN!!!

You're the only one embarrassing yourself, 🙄
Chris Fisher3 said:If you ask me, the real championship match was the USA vs. Spain game, given how both teams actually played...

I'm with you on that 🙏 It's a shame about that total meltdown against the Americans.

At the end of the day, we can only beat ourselves.
Pure 🙏 🤣
Let's go, Americans 👋

mistywolf17 said:The issue here is that you can't just take someone else's interpretation of a situation and present it as an absolute fact. Doing that is essentially spreading misinformation. As for Slafk, he was banned from a completely different subforum, so that really has nothing to do with what you originally wrote.

On another note, what exactly is bothering you?
The lack of moderator presence in the women's corner? From what I can see, things are actually improving. hollowtrucker77 is making a real effort to get back to everyone. If there truly becomes a need for specific mods to step in, don't worry—it would happen.

So, what’s the deal with the moderation over at LJES?
Are you even aware that you would have received three times as many warnings if the moderation there were more active or stricter? It isn’t that you didn't deserve them, per se. Every time you start an on-topic discussion, you somehow end up veering off into something completely irrelevant. You demonstrate this pattern with every single post you make. So, I suppose you don't really have much ground to stand on when complaining that September was unfair with those warnings. I mean, how could any of this possibly be considered on-topic? What was the actual subject of that thread?

She completely shut me down because:

I guess I mentioned earlier that, according to my horoscope, I'm a Libra.
I asked one of the ladies on the forum how she did her hair color.

Then again, you’re bringing up the Recreation forum and all its issues, even though you’ve never actually set foot in there. Why bother? Sure, things weren't perfect, but the problem wasn't with the moderator, Lyl—it was an absolute infestation of trolls and spammers. You aren't really clued in on the situation, yet you're still sticking your nose in.

I can't 🙄

So why don't you tell me when exactly you became an expert? What exactly qualifies as trolling or spam in the Recreation chat?
People talk about everything except actual recreation in there, so I fail to see how anything could be considered spam.

Steven Reed said:Sorry, but I really have to weigh in here.
There’s been an issue—not even caused by trolls or spammers (which, for the record, I am neither)—but specifically regarding Lyl's urge to be rude, arrogant, and toss around insults and medical diagnoses like she’s some kind of specialist.
Thank God the mods can actually see the posts your colleague wrote before they were scrubbed once the PŽK staff realized she had completely messed things up.

No matter how much you try to justify her behavior—sorry, but honestly, it just doesn't fly with me.😉

Look, there are great mods, sure. But there are also absolute disasters...
At least admit that the quality of the sub-forum depends entirely on the quality of its moderators.🤷

Edit: Just consider the difference between the average user staring at a ban thread for days begging for an explanation, versus Steven Ruiz's private little parties. I still remember when Pec used to hand out much harsher penalties—like slapping colleagues with a 30-point deduction just for chatting in the corner.😉
Short and sweet: I don't care... I know life isn't perfect and I have no intention of losing sleep over a forum, but it’s shameful when the mods behave worse than the users. They are supposed to be the gold standard for discussion, not the subject of these arguments.

👍 I have neither the strength nor the will left in me, but I'll sign off on whatever you say, Steven Reed...

mistywolf17 said:Those who don't get a response are mostly trolls or clones of permanently banned accounts, and they know it. They're just playing dumb. 😉

And what about those who mostly aren't?...

😂😂

Speaking of which, does anyone happen to have a PDF handy, or know who might be keeping one close by?😁
Samuel Baker3 said:I didn't, could you please explain to me what playing "man-to-man shadowing" actually means?

What I mean is, if we say player X is shadowing player Y, then player X isn't really helping with the general defense; their sole responsibility is simply to shut player Y out of the game.

So, how would you define playing "shadow"?

That was my explanation, so I'm not sure where the confusion lies... the issue is just that you weren't aware they do this to the wingers too. Generally, it's a half-variant shadow or high pressure on the wings to prevent them from even receiving the ball. It used to be done more frequently back in the day, though it's rarer now, but it still exists.
Samuel Baker3 said:basically, the US should play high pressure so that Čupić is running the entire court covering Guigou while Štrlek covers the other wing just to prevent them from even getting the ball.

🙄 and here I am trying to have a discussion, yet it’s painfully obvious you don't actually follow handball.
Samuel Baker3 said:where they just play them into the corner🤣

🙄 They’re playing high pressure, not letting them touch the ball at all...

buddy, maybe think for a second before you type that out
Samuel Baker3 said:I haven't seen anyone pulling fast food out of their pockets before...🙂

Besides, you'll probably only see that kid playing on the local playground tomorrow, unless Abbalo gets hurt first.

😕 Of course you have; they play deep, refusing to let anyone touch the ball, though that’s a tall order against a fast and agile offense.
Adam Collins4 said:Those ten minutes we spent playing with such a weak link could really come back to haunt us...

However, given how much Lino actually understands tactics, I wouldn't be surprised...

It’s always the same old story, he'll probably start making excuses tomorrow too.🤷
Tomorrow, during those first ten minutes of the power line operation, things will go spectacularly well, just like always, with both our guys and the French crew leading the way 🤣
boldhound8 said:We tightened up in the second half, switched our defense, picked up the pace on offense, and managed to grab and hold onto the lead🙂 That's all there is to it...

And tomorrow... whatever happens tomorrow, this is already a damn good result👋

Exactly 👋 👋

Watch out, Alilovica image
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 👋
Finally, I can finally make it to the restroom...
Cosic 🙏 😂 😂
