northerncobra31 said:Just a straight-up racing incident—Max really just tripped over his own feet here. He's the one who messed it up, which is probably why he won't be taking home the championship anytime soon.

Oh yeah? And what was Max supposed to do then?
James Collins said:If Lewis Hamilton had shoved Max Verstappen off the track with a bad start yesterday, they’d be dragging him through the mud—total doghouse treatment. Kid basically shuts everyone out every single time. This time, Lewis just looked better in that first lap and refused to budge. I don't get why people call him "fair" when he usually just gives in the second he sees he can't win the spot. He stuck to his guns this time, and honestly? Good for him.

A red flag and zero penalty for Lewis—that's about the only thing that makes sense here.

This is about as realistic as the price of a lift ticket at a major US ski resort.
Oof... looks like an investigation is actually happening after all....
And why'd they call the race early? ...just so the big shots wouldn't lose any precious time during their pit stops..

Reporting posts feels just like telling your mom you're gonna get in trouble--it's kind of a joke, right?

I've been hanging out on this forum for ages now, and honestly, I've only ever reported one single post, maybe once in a blue moon.

You guys are such crybabies.

Eric Gray2 said:But who's actually at fault here, mistyhound94? And who exactly is this "we" you're talking about—who are we that we're supposedly to blame?

I don't know—how can you even remember being called out when you weren't even posting in that WhatsApp group anyway

Look, if we can't have a decent conversation... then let's just not. I'm really not gonna sink to those kinds of cheap shots.

You totally dodged my question

I don't get why the volume of the chat is an issue... maybe we should just cap everyone's posts—but quality? Hmm, what even counts as "quality" conversation to you?

Shouldn't the chat be more for blowing off steam, especially since we've got plenty of other threads here for those deep, serious discussions...

I honestly don't follow your logic at all!

cosmicgull52 said:To summarize, you had one WhatsApp group that was essentially pure chaos and anarchy—if I understood correctly, though I haven't actually joined it because just looking at it gives me a headache—and a second WhatsApp group where there's some occasional friction, but people generally stay polite and reasonable.

And someone decided the only logical move is to merge them, which in reality just means killing off the second group? I am trying to wrap my head around this, but it simply doesn't make sense.

So, what exactly was giving you that headache?

It’s worth keeping in mind that certain people are... well, you know... and even more importantly—everyone knows what's really going on. Every story has two sides, so don't forget that.

Jacob Sullivan91 said:Look, it’s not just one specific person causing chats on the US to get closed. We were actually planning on shutting both of them down anyway since they basically stopped serving any purpose...

A chat is supposed to be like walking into a local pub—you drop in, have a little banter, and feel relaxed. What these US chats have turned into is honestly pretty pathetic. I mean, I *hope* you all know how to talk to each other without the constant insults, nitpicking every single word, or running to report someone just because they were being a jerk to you or your buddies...

I agree with mistyhound94 that we definitely need a chat here, so we’re going to keep one open. But it's on my head, which means the second anyone starts throwing insults around again—and some of you have already made that a habit—it’s gone. Closed. Done.

Splitting the community up isn't exactly the smartest move, so we're merging the chats into one. Hopefully, this puts an end to all the petty bickering and tattling...

Thanks!
