- whenever I see Julia Roberts popping up on screen (honestly, I don't think a single one of her movies has ever really hit the mark for me 🤷) - when the opening scene features something like 3 or 4 resistance fighters armed with nothing but hunting rifles absolutely tearing through a squad of 20 elite German soldiers (okay, I'm exaggerating the numbers, but you know exactly the kind of vibe I'm talking about 😁) along with other action sequences like that - those Leonardo DiCaprio flicks
Jack Sedlar is working on a new documentary, and this one is all about Adolf Hitler. He’s managed to get his hands on a ton of footage that’s never been seen before, so this could actually turn out to be a pretty gripping watch.
I read somewhere that the premiere is going to happen in Israel first since they're the ones funding Sedlar, but I haven't found any word on whether it'll be shown here in the States. If anyone has any inside scoop, please feel free to drop it here! 😉
You absolutely have to check this movie out if you're getting a bit tired of the endless stream of films focused solely on the American perspective. This one does a fantastic job of depicting the war from the German side. 👍 Steiner main cooler IMDB Saving Private Ryan trailer 😎
I’m genuinely curious about something: could I build a massive house here in the States and mount a huge golden swastika right on the front facade, all while claiming it's actually a Buddhist temple meant to represent peace and love? And then, just to complete the look, I'd hang flags all around the perimeter featuring the same symbol. 😕🤷
Following an appeal from a Canadian individual who was being prosecuted for displaying a notorious symbol of communist dictatorship, the European Court of Human Rights has ruled that this constitutes a fundamental human right.

I honestly can't wrap my head around how wearing a symbol associated with some of the most horrific crimes and mass killings in global history could ever be classified as a fundamental human right... 👎
I mean, 10,000 BC wasn't even marketed as some kind of historical epic. Now I'm starting to wonder if Lord of the Rings took similar liberties with actual history 🤣
I haven't actually sat down to watch this one yet, mostly because I still haven't even gotten around to the third installment. To be honest, I just haven't felt like diving in since everyone who's seen it is calling it an absolute train wreck—basically saying it’s total garbage and a complete waste of time.
Still, I'm holding out a tiny bit of hope that they didn't mess up too badly, mainly because I actually thought the first two sequels were pretty solid.👍
...but looking at all the reviews from people who have already watched it, it sounds like they definitely did.👎
I’ve got about 300 DivX movies sitting here—well, at least I think so, since my collection is getting pretty massive 😉—all downloaded as DVDRips, though I’ve probably only actually sat down and watched maybe half of them 😁
cosmicraven44 said:It is absolutely fair to say we were robbed. In fact, the officiating in our last three games has been blatantly biased against us. We managed to scrape by against Norway and France, and we likely would have escaped here too if the Danes hadn't had that octopus guarding the basket. The Danes were ripe for a second-half collapse; I am certain we would have secured the win if the officiating had been decent. Furthermore, the discrepancy in penalties is staggering when you compare our number of ejections to those of the Norwegians, the Frenchmen, and the Danes. All three of those teams play a bruising, physical style—they break people down—while our guys are constantly patched up on the bench, bruised and bloody. Pero is covered in athletic tape, Balic is wincing every five minutes, and yet, when you tally the ejections, we somehow end up with more than them.😲
Come on everyone, let's get behind Ivano Balić and cast our votes in the poll! Who is the greatest? - Part 4!
The poll is broken down into eight different groups, each featuring four legendary athletes. In this fourth group, we have Ivano Balić, Roger Federer (our main contender here), Ole Einar Bjoerndalen, and Floyd Mayweather. The winner from each group moves straight into the finals to decide the ultimate champion.
So, let's all rally for Ivano Balić!!! 👍

It’s actually a good idea to head back and vote multiple times throughout the day 😁
I’d say I catch about half of whatever hits the theaters. As soon as I spot something decent on a release schedule, I’ll grab a digital copy immediately. I’ve actually watched quite a massive amount of films over the years if I'm being honest.
Anonymous said:For me, the first one was absolutely killer. The second one was alright, though maybe a little less impactful, and I haven't actually sat down to listen to the third one yet. 🙂
I didn't see an existing thread about this band, so I figured I'd start one right here.
This group basically formed as a supergroup, pulling together musicians from several different heavy hitters. You can definitely hear the influence of the legendary Pantera guys in their sound, specifically Phil Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown. Rounding out the lineup, you've also got Pepper Keenan, Kirk Windstein, and Jimmy Bower. They've put out three main albums: Nola - 1995 Down II: A Bustle In Your Hegerow - 2002 Down III: Over The Under - 2007

The movie was a total snooze fest. I will say though, I actually enjoyed the scene where Superman shows up and starts messing with Wolverine and his crew—especially when that guy with the wings gets involved and then Magneto flies in. 😁But overall, 👎
Yeah, I totally agree, Michael Myers is definitely one of my biggest pet peeves! He always walks at this snail's pace, yet his victims are out there sprinting for their lives and somehow he’s still somehow faster...
