Just wondering, what resolution are you guys running?
Jerry Rogers2 said:I already tried that, but I guess no matter which font I pick, they all look exactly the same. 🙄

Stop spreading misinformation, I guess.
1GB is just a bare minimum for either case, whereas 1.5 to 2GB is more than enough for Windows 7.

I’m sorry, but this thread is just an absolute disgrace. It’s a direct insult to the God-man's character and, honestly, to any Christian believer out there. I guess people wouldn't dare ask something like this about Muhammad or the God he preached, because they know they'd face immediate backlash. They'd probably lose their minds if the same questions were aimed at figures from the scientific or atheist circles you all love to quote so much... it's just wrong. I suppose someone in charge should step in, because this really does cross the line of decency.

neoncobra48 said:I set up Windows 7 about two weeks ago RC1 7100 and it seems fine so far. Even managed to grab the latest graphics driver via Windows update last week. As for software—there are plenty of lists online—I guess I'm pretty happy. Steinberg and Propellerhead programs seem to run without any issues.
Robert Bishop7 said:hold on a second... can you explain? am I formatting the drive via a standard format C command or what... and does this involve a fresh install? I tried booting from it, but it just hangs there forever. We've got all kinds of people here, some clueless and some experts; I guess I'm just grateful for any help at all....
wiredtrucker89 said:I'm aware of that. But it's locked at x11! Meanwhile, this thing shows it on x5. I've got a dual boot setup with Windows XP, and when I boot into that, it actually displays the real status. It's definitely 2640MHz!!
Robert Bishop7 said:I've been running the beta for about two months and it's great... some games I couldn't even launch before run perfectly now. Now I want to install the RC version over the beta, but it won't work... if anyone knows how to handle this installation, please let me know... thanks in advance... do I need to have Windows XP or Vista installed first and then run the RC installer, or what? 👍🙏🙏🤷🤷
Taylor Campbell4 said:Could you clarify this a bit? (I've only got 2 GB of RAM right now, but I was planning on picking up another 2 pretty soon)
How does this whole 64-bit thing actually work? I have a 64-bit processor, so I assume the motherboard will handle 64-bit, too (I'm no expert), but if I install x86, will everything just run at 32-bit??
Does it affect speed? What does it actually change? Does it only matter when running a 64-bit application? (I haven't come across any of those 😁)
And why isn't less than 4GB enough?
Any reasons?

If it weren't for those of us in the QA Department (thank God I actually enjoy this), you wouldn't end up with an OS that actually works.
So, maybe stop talking nonsense in the comments.
Have you even tried using Windows 10, or installed it, if you want to make posts like yours?
Do you even know what RC means?
Beta means that if there aren't any more bugs, that same version becomes the Final one....
Ever heard of RC or RC2?
Come on, quit the crap!
Christian Collins73 said:thanks to Drew Garcia, I'll go look for that line, haha.
and you, Thomas Hernandez21, stop talking nonsense; I just downloaded them and I'm burning them now.
Christian Collins73 said:I'm having trouble installing Windows 7, RC x64. I burned it yesterday, then tried to run the installer. Everything loads fine, like the files, but then an image pops up, it hangs for a second, and then nothing happens at all...
My hardware should be compatible, and I grabbed it from the official sites... I guess I don't know what the issue is.
I might try downloading and installing x32 instead, but if anyone has any thoughts, feel free to chime in.
