Kate Bishop76 said:The paranoia surrounding you alternative types is getting intense. It’s like everyone is being poisoned—by food, by medicine, by the air, the water... honestly, who knows what else.

But isn't it the exact same thing that's poisoning us, based on what you just listed?
Kate Bishop76 said:It’s just sad because there are SO many books written on this subject, yet you all seem to find it impossible to read even a single one. NO, you just BLINDLY believe someone who doesn't have a shred of medical training.

Look, most people aren't doctors, nor did they spend years in higher education. If a doctor sat me down and told me I had maybe a month left to live, am I really supposed to go sit in a library and study? Or should I maybe look at what the alternative options are?
Kate Bishop76 said:On that Military forum, they actually discuss taking clay orally. The way it works and how it cleanses the body—that part isn't about intelligence. The difference is that mainstream medicine uses experiments to prove if something works and HOW it works, whereas everything in the alternative scene is built entirely on faith and the placebo effect.

See, I know a bit about clay. If you go to a doctor and tell them you want to get rid of acne, they’re going to prescribe you pills. And then people take those pills simply because a doctor said so. And we all know how incredibly "healthy" popping pills is, right? Because, after all, they're a product of science. Even if they end up being totally useless. Clay is an alternative that actually works. So, what do you think a person should actually take?

Honestly, that's my absolute favorite line from Under Siege 2.

Ever since I heard about that narrow-minded creationist biologist scam, honestly, nothing really knocks me off my chair or leaves me staring wide-eyed anymore🤷—not when you consider all the taxpayer money being flushed down the drain on studies backed by the Department.

Look, I’m not trying to shock you. Why would I even do that? If this stuff is shocking to you, maybe just take the blinders off—you might see the world for what it actually is. As much good as science has brought to the table, it’s done just as much damage. The folks over at the Police Department view science as THE ultimate truth, but let's be real, modern science isn't exactly noble anymore, and it barely seems to care about the greater good of humanity. But then again, what’s the alternative? What counts as alternative medicine? It’s usually just whatever the medical establishment and big pharma lobbies refuse to acknowledge. Ideally, healing should be a black box: you put a sick person in one end, a healthy person comes out the other, and everything that happens in between is irrelevant.

I mean, honestly... where do we even begin with this? It feels like we’re staring straight into the twilight—that whole "Götterdämmerung" vibe, you know?—where everything we thought was solid just starts to crumble around us. It's heavy stuff. I've been sitting here thinking about how quickly things can shift from feeling secure to feeling like the floor is falling out from under your feet. It’s that sense of an era ending, almost like watching a sunset that you know isn't going to lead to a peaceful morning, but rather a long, dark night. Just... heavy. Anyway, I didn't mean to get all deep on you guys, but sometimes you just have to say it out loud. kaže:
Son, when you start posting stuff like this, you really can't expect much. unconditional I mean, come on—where is the support from all 235k users? You’d think at least some of them would step up, especially the ones who actually finished their degrees or are currently grinding through college. It’s all just built on a foundation of naturally occurring fake news—you know, those half-truths that feel so right because they sound like common sense, even when they're completely fabricated? It's wild how much people swallow just because a lie feels "natural."You’ll have Mica rooting for you—you know, the neighbor who spends her whole day running consultations out of a chicken coop near the local barbershop—but don't expect any support from the rest of them. That's why being part of the Alternative scene is actually pretty cool... 🤷

I’m all for them—honestly, even my own university falls right into that category.

This isn't actually a documentary. It’s more like pretentious propaganda. Though, I suppose a great many people will undoubtedly mistake this for objective fact and truth, feeling quite superior for having seen it while labeling everyone else as mere sheep.

Much like Zeitgeist and those other similar "documentaries," this doesn't really belong on a film forum, given that it possesses absolutely no cinematic or artistic merit (nor does it have any intention of possessing such things). One can only really discuss these pieces from a purely political standpoint.

Propaganda in what sense? Give us some actual facts.

This is garbage...

Come on, back up your claims with some actual arguments.

lonebear said:Alright, so it finally dropped a couple days ago. This movie basically packs everything you need to know about the first Black U.S. president into just under two hours (1:50). Honestly, if you give it a watch, you won't regret it.

For me, the biggest gut punch was that final cut (part 11). It perfectly illustrates the pattern societies have been stuck in throughout history: these grand spectacles—decorated with mass euphoria, endless hope, and ultimately, the suffering of countless people—are just the modern sequels to the classics we all know too well, like Mao Zedong, Joseph Stalin, and Adolf Hitler.

Full movie here: playlist

THOSE WHO ARE IGNORANT OF HISTORY ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT !

Here is the full movie. By the way, love the username. I actually thought about posting this thread over on the alternative board, but decided against it. Maybe it would be better if you posted it there instead (since you're the one who kicked this whole thing off)? I have a feeling it would get way more traction there.

The smartest move is to convince everyone that there are no conspiracies behind the big stuff, and then you've got all these idiots running around calling anyone who uses their own brain a "conspiracy theorist"—just a bunch of mindless sheep feeding on nonsense.

Look, Koerg Haider was murdered, plain and simple. If anyone wants to argue otherwise, they can catch up with me later—seriously, why was his secretary working for the Mossad? Once someone explains to me why an organization like the Mossad would be messing around with a local political figure, then maybe we can talk about "unfounded" theories. Until then, you're just peddling nonsense, my friend!

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to call them idiots. But there's a real truth to the idea that adding the word "theory" adds this layer of triviality to it. If we just called them "conspiracies," people would probably take the whole thing much more seriously.

And honestly, that’s the ultimate win for those pulling the strings—convincing the public that conspiracies aren't even a thing. Sure, you'll always have a certain group of people who start questioning things, but they just get smothered by media propaganda. And we all know how much influence the mainstream media has over the general population...

I actually thought he had been killed the moment I heard the news, too. As for all that stuff about him being a closeted guy or whatever—that feels like something they could have just tacked on later just to smear his reputation.
I hadn't heard that part about the Mossad bit.
Christopher Hitchens???
What is he even supposed to be? Some kind of global moral compass?
And then you’ve got his buddy Noam Chomsky out there promoting a book about Anna Politkovskaya’s Russia. Truly a pair of highly respected gentlemen, aren't they?
