Did Josip Broz Marshall really have $2 billion? in Close to Politics ·
We should probably set one little condition: any country that broke away from the old America wants those 2 billion? Fine—they have to rename every single street and plaza that still carries Marshall's name first...

Then we can look at a real-world example to prove that politics is really just economics in disguise

Samuel Roberts said:Yebo, honestly, if someone sat you down and told you Josip Broz Marshall was the one who steered an asteroid from the Asteroid belt straight into Earth to wipe out the dinosaurs, you’d probably just nod along and believe them without a second thought.

😂😂😂

Please—if they hadn't stepped up, Europeans would still be bathing once a month, maybe even once every two months. 🤣

Yeah, if they hadn't bought them up, I’d be heading there once a month... But honestly, maybe it was better this way...😁

They've basically taken over Italy (I won't even bring up America here... only 4 million people and long enough 622 miles coastlines, they can't develop tourism). I guess tourists are just dying to pray to God to stay alive.😍

A tourism superpower?
Aren't you exaggerating just a little bit?
Sure, their tourism is picking up, but saying they've surpassed Italy... where are you even getting that from?
Take a trip toward Washington, D.C. (actually, let's not even go there), then tell me how much of a "tourism superpower" this place really is...😂
Jack Cook73 said:Most Turks I know are basically European... but they’re on this side of the Bosphorus... as for the rest, I couldn't tell you.

Once you cross the Bosphorus and start winding through those massive canyons and mountains on these narrow, sketchy roads toward the distant border... man, you really feel like you've landed on another planet. And when it comes to both the people and the landscape... it's just unreal. Honestly, more than once you find yourself praying to God just to make it there in one piece...😲
Just a heads-up if you ever decide to go...

Sounds like circulation issues, most likely based on what you described.
Get your uric acid levels checked out.
Go see an internist...
Could be something serious, too.

Even Ban Jelacic was born in Mexico and served under Karadjordj.... And yet nobody claims he was a Mexican (even though he WAS, through his mother)....

Man, give me a break... things are getting way too messy here...☕
Sudden vision changes: What should I do? in Health ·
Once you hit 30—or maybe a little later depending on your luck—your eyesight starts playing tricks on you... everything changes...

Don't go panicking just yet, you aren't going blind overnight, but things will probably start slipping away pretty fast over the next few years. After that, it usually levels out or just moves at a snail's pace.

Honestly, spending way too many hours staring at a computer screen doesn't help matters much either.
Just something to keep in mind.
