I honestly think it’s high time we opened up a Volume 2 thread for this series. In my view, the decision to shut down the entire discussion is completely unjustified—sure, maybe it makes sense for a few specific people, but it’s just not fair to the majority of us who have been engaging in such lively debates.

So, please, just open up a new space for us to talk, because isn't that literally what a forum is supposed to be for?

ambermason16, look, it would be great if you could just admit you made a mistake here. We all mess up sometimes, but right now, this just feels like you're being arbitrary—and you really don't need that reputation, especially since you've been so solid up until now.

I used to constantly lie about my course load—claiming I had way fewer finals than I actually did. It’s funny, really. My conscience would eat at me every single time, but in a weird, twisted way, that guilt actually acted as fuel to get me to study harder. A strange kind of motivation, I guess.
Hannah White2 said:Look, you’ve got massive potential—honestly, just those few sentences you wrote are enough for me to see it. On one hand, you should actually be thankful for the chaos around you; it’s what forces you to step back and figure out who you really are.
On the flip side, you need boundaries. You need them.
There isn't a single person on this planet who can laugh at you. Sometimes we humans get stuck in this delusion where we think we’re way smarter than we actually are. In reality, we’re just a bunch of stubborn idiots convinced we have life figured out.
Go grab some books on "pop psychology" and start reading. Age doesn't matter here—for all I know, I might be talking to a future billionaire.

If you had these built-in defense mechanisms from birth, you wouldn't even be in a position to reflect on yourself or the world around you.
Think about the massive handicap people face when they just drift through life without noticing how their environment is reacting to them. They're just stumbling around blindly...

It’s beautiful, really—I haven't met anyone whose inner strength hasn't completely taken over them.
Plus, let's be real: women tend to look for money or status—that's basically their aphrodisiac. Otherwise, Bebek would never even get a look-in...
Then there's confidence. Once you actually nail that, people swarm you like bees to sugar. Men and women alike. That’s why being strong and knowing how to say "NO" is everything—so many people don't know how to do that, and they'll try to drain your energy. I'm telling you this from experience.

Not all of them, though.
Ted Bundy once had something to say about this kind of thing:

I’ve known people who just radiated vulnerability. Their facial expressions practically screamed, "Please hurt me." These types of people seem to invite abuse... If they’re constantly expecting to be wounded, is there some part of them actually triggering it?

Now, let’s be clear—Theodore Roosevelt wasn't exactly a model citizen or a sane individual, but you can't really argue with his grasp of human psychology.

ironwolf82, pull yourself together. Stop whining. Take action. You're young, you're healthy—go out there and do something. Meet people. Start valuing yourself, because if you don't, you shouldn't be surprised when nobody else does either.

Because honestly, if you stay exactly the way you are right now, you're nothing more than prey for the various Bundys of the world.
