Struggling to sleep? Any tips? in Health ·
It isn’t about dreaming; this happens roughly 5 to 10 minutes after I close my eyes, while I'm still in that half-awake state. For instance, last night I started dreaming about riding my bike to high school (my dreams are disturbingly realistic, though they aren't lucid).

FYI—I'm 18, and I deal with a moderate amount of daily stress, which is definitely one of the triggers.

Sleep paralysis doesn't bother me all that much. It can get incredibly intense and terrifying—especially when I feel like I can't breathe or I start seeing some grotesque face staring back at me or even a tiny little gray alien 😬 but even then, I know what's actually happening. I know it isn't real.

However, there’s another issue that scares me more. Over the last year, a few times a month right as I'm drifting off, my brain just takes flight and everything is fine, until suddenly—BAM. I hit this massive wave of stress. It feels like a physical shock, almost as if someone slammed a giant frying pan into me or tried to jumpstart my heart with electric shocks. Sometimes I just wake up feeling fine, but other times my heart is racing at 234 BPM and I'm completely rattled, like I just narrowly dodged a runaway freight train.

Is this something dangerous, and should I go see a doctor?

Sure, Ferrari is a solid choice.😁

Personally, I thought their 2004 design was top-tier.

But if we're talking about the absolute peak of aesthetics—the most beautiful car ever built—it’s definitely this one:

1. I cycle like my life depends on it, except when I’m busy producing music.😍
So, here are my hobbies...

2. I try to stay grounded and lend a hand whenever possible—whether that’s through a bit of humor, some sound advice, or whatever else is needed.

I aim to make the most of my decades on this earth. My personal philosophy is simple: every experience is a valuable one.😬 (And yes, that includes the rough ones too.)

Long live SAF1! 😍

I’ve had enough of this rain. I used to pray for it, but now it’s honestly making me sick.😬

Hmm... when was the last time Webber actually stood on the podium?

You and your Senna... just GET OVER IT.😬

I really hope we don't get hit by another downpour like Sepang or Nürburgring back in '07.😁

My prediction: Turn 1, Alonso is leading; Turn 2, he drops to seventh; Finish, he's tenth.😁

KERS is going to screw them over.😍

The rest of the pack:
1. Vettel
2. Button
3. Trulli

Yeah, that race was an absolute train wreck; they definitely should have kept going...

It's like the FIA is on something. 🤷 🙂

Both Vettel and Kubica have serious points to prove this season (not that they haven't already😁)

As for Massa—look, he’s excellent if you put him in a top-tier car, but without a competitive machine, he doesn't really stand out from the pack...

And Kimi—well, who truly knows what he's capable of? 🙏
Donna Nelson23 As specified by placidsurfer9:
Jarno Trulli just got slapped with a 25-second penalty for overtaking under the Safety Car, which drops him down to 12th place. Meanwhile, Sebastian Vettel is facing some serious consequences: he’s been hit with a $50,000 fine following that collision with Robert Kubica, plus a 10-place grid penalty for the Sepang race. Apparently, he kept pushing after hitting the wall instead of heading straight to the pits when the warnings came in.

I agree regarding those ten spots; what he did was dangerous and frankly just plain stupid. However, I don't believe he carries the sole blame for the collision with Robert Kubica.

😲

sa boldanim I agree. ☕
bluehawk37 said:That was one of the better races I’ve watched, despite how much it pissed me off seeing what happened to Robert Kubica. I'm still a big BMW Sauber fan, and frankly, I think both drivers were at fault here.
Vettel should have let Robert Kubica through based on common sense; he had no chance. If he had, Kubica would have surged ahead and left Jenson Button in the dust.
Vettel messed up by trying to block Robert Kubica, who already had two-thirds of his car ahead of him.
Robert Kubica also could have played it smarter—maybe wait for a better opening or overtake him the way Jarno Trulli and Nico Rosberg did a few laps prior. He lunged from the outside. He should have just braked when Vettel flew past and took him on the inside.
It would have been much safer and simpler. I just don't get why everyone ignores Nick Heidfeld. He has KERS and all that gear, and the car is clearly superior, yet there's zero mention of him. Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed.
Robert Kubica has every right to be furious. But it is what it is.

KERS is tricky; it shifts the entire weight balance and everything else.
Rebecca Thomas5 said:I definitely did, I was sitting here looking for ads and seeing nothing, then I check the standings and somehow Felipe Massa is sitting pretty low down, wtf... I might just have to move my TV into the living room...😲😳😁😉🙂

As for me, I managed to get everything sorted—the fantasy league, the snacks, and even grabbing a Red Bull—right when that first safety car came out. 😁 👍
