Hi there! I was wondering if I could get a little help here. I just finished a 5-hour insulin tolerance test. Glucose- 4.8 10 6.9 4.7 3.7 3.7 2.8 3.2 3.7 4.3 Insulin 6.8 47.9 82.2 60.2 49.0 23.6 8.6 6.2 3.8 3.2 I also had my reproductive hormones checked—LH at 6.0 and FSH at 5.6—on day 5 of my cycle. I think I read somewhere that days 2 or 3 are actually better for testing, so maybe these results from day 5 aren't quite right? I guess I'm not sure. Thanks!
I'm sending out a tiny little package tomorrow, just a small decorative box about 5x5 inches. I'm not entirely sure how to ship this, should I probably put it inside another box, or maybe just wrap this one up with some tape? Also, where exactly am I supposed to write the recipient's address versus my own?
Maybe you should just leave the kid at home if you're heading out shopping... Honestly, I am getting so irritated it actually hurts. I feel like I need to wash my hair every single day because this heat makes it so greasy, but I just can't do it every day since then I have to dry it too, and if I do that, I think I might actually die...
And what really gets under my skin is when I show up to work with a bump and go visit my coworkers.. One of them always comments, "Oh, it's sooooooo lovely being pregnant! Come on, Sarah Adams3, what's the problem? Just enjoy it! I did everything totally normally while I was pregnant, driving around and all that," And I'm like, okay, I'm doing everything too, but it is soooooooo much harder than she thinks and I'm just over it. I want the baby, obviously, but I'd love to be able to move around normally. I was actually telling my husband last night, that being pregnant is nice in its own way—you know, life growing inside you, all those emotions, the little kicks and nudges... there are definitely perks I've really enjoyed over the last few months,,, but saying everything is just great? It's not... I seriously can't wait to give birth because I'm just done.
Honestly, I’m just getting so incredibly frustrated by how limited my mobility feels right now, plus this heat is absolutely brutal, on top of everything else, it’s not usually an issue to hop in the shower, but lately, it’s just been so tough, and part of me wants to get this baby out as soon as possible just so I can move freely again, but then there's this fear of labor, so I end up not wanting to go through with it anytime soon either...
I’ve been reading through your posts, and I suppose I’d be wrong if I said I didn't agree with you at all. It seems a bit strange, doesn't it? I mean, after everything we went through following Grandma's passing, this just feels like too much. Giving an interview to a newspaper—for what purpose? Is it supposed to help her find a daughter? They really crossed a line here. I guess I'm just worried about what might actually be going on behind the scenes.
Oh, and I should mention, we hosted them for a big spread just two days after the wedding—tons of food and desserts! I mean, honestly, I probably would have done the same even if it wasn't such a huge expense; I was actually quite surprised when I heard about the costs. But now, it really bugs me that nobody has had the decency to show up even once. Are they seriously waiting until I have the baby? Because if so, I really need my crew from work to be among the first ones there...
Okay, I really need to vent about something. It’s not even about the pregnancy, but it's driving me crazy. So, as soon as I found out I was pregnant, I went on maternity leave. My partner and I planned our wedding for just three months later, and we tied the knot. At my office, we always have this tradition where we all chip in some money for whoever is getting married. Usually, if you're attending the wedding, you contribute more, and if you aren't going, you give a smaller amount. We only had about 40 people at the ceremony, so we didn't invite anyone from work. I honestly wasn't expecting them to collect any money, but apparently, they did. We got married on February 12th. And as for the cash? Nothing. I wasn't expecting anything at all, and I almost wish I hadn't even heard that they were collecting it. But somehow, I ended up finding out everything—who intended to give, who didn't, and who is just stalling and making excuses about being broke. Some people I actually contributed to, just because I felt like it even though I barely know them, told me they would have given something to me too. It just really irritates me that this information is reaching my ears in the first place... It makes it look like I care way too much about the money, when I'm really just observing. I truly don't care, but once I head back to work, I'll know exactly how to treat certain people. One coworker mentioned she might drop by for coffee soon and bring her contribution, and now what bothers me is that she keeps delaying it. It's not about the money, it's just that my big event is in two weeks, and I really don't feel up to hosting anyone right now. Anyway, I just needed to get that off my chest.
Why is everyone exactly the same??? 🤣 I’m feeling so incredibly optimistic today! Even though I was just saying how broke I am until my maternity leave kicks in, and how we're totally screwed and won't even have enough food to eat...🤣🤣
But then he goes, "What do we really need? We have each other, and we have our baby." Like, wow...😕 oh my goooooooood
Oh my gosh, you have no idea how I felt!!! I was literally screaming, pacing around hysterically, and smoking like crazy just to cope... ughhhhh... he totally melted over it😠😠😠 but now I'm feeling pretty mad at him again 😁
A lot of things really threw me off balance... what really got under my skin was seeing my husband kissing his ex-girlfriend's stomach because she’s pregnant just like I am, and he was acting all sentimental and sweet toward her. He was just beaming with smiles, and honestly, I felt physically sick. Eventually, I just lost it and started screaming at the top of my lungs—calling him trash, saying he was disgusting—it just completely rattled me. I actually woke up feeling that angry.😂😂 So, I just went ahead and told him exactly how I felt while I was still fuming.😁
My gut just went crazy! 😍 I’ve honestly never really felt any movement from my intestines or whatever, but I felt this little tap immediately, and then it just kept thumping. And today... it feels like there's some tiny little witch inside losing her mind or something, she just keeps hitting and hitting.
Wait, seriously??? You could have just pointed her toward Reddit. We have some neighbors out here—total rural vibes—and we aren't even close with any of them. It’s just a quick wave if I see them at the local Target or something; I wouldn't even realize they lived next door. And now they’re making all this about me, like 🙄 I totally hate this too, especially once they start poking around town, the park... ugh.
Ugh, seriously... Yesterday, I was heading out to grab my stroller and taking the trash to the bin when this neighbor starts unloading her little one from the car and asks me, "How much longer do you have left?" I told her, "Oh, about three weeks until the due date." She goes, "Ooooh, wonderful! We'll be sure to keep it down at night once the baby arrives!"🙂 Yeah, right, I just said, "Sure." And then I get back in the car and tell my husband, "Who even is that woman? I've never seen her before," and he's just like, "I don't know either." Now I'm sitting here thinking, once I actually have the baby and we start going for walks, what if everyone starts hovering around us? Grrrr... I really don't like it. Up until now, I haven't really had much contact with the neighbors—honestly, I barely know some of them—but suddenly everyone thinks they have something to say about my business. Please!
Oh my goodness, what should I do? Someone once suggested that drinking ice-cold water might help wake me up, but I guess I haven't actually tried that yet! 🤷
Rebecca Vaughn7, I have to say, your post really got under my skin too... Well, we actually got into a bit of a spat while we were looking for a 24-hour CVS to pick up some medicine... I was trying my best to explain where the pharmacy was, but nope... He’s just way too stubborn to listen to anyone and drives like a complete maniac; he really worked me up, and since I've been feeling so on edge lately, I really don't need someone making things even more stressful. Plus, he's incredibly high-strung himself and we just can't seem to find common ground. It was the same thing yesterday; I was actually thinking about suggesting we take a break from each other halfway through the drive home, because I knew if we didn't, we'd end up in a huge fight, but thankfully we didn't, though I guess you might know (or probably do) that feeling, where it feels like you're constantly fueling a fire but can't quite let it out, and you're walking on eggshells trying not to raise your voice, even though you're just so frustrated... That’s exactly how we were yesterday, and we almost lost it, but miraculously we stayed calm, mostly just because I decided to keep quiet... 😠😠😠
