This forum is acting up... why did they get rid of the option to just embed text instead of having to use a link? 😠

Anyway, here is the dark of the matinée. I played around with the settings a bit, so this version is in black and white... the audio quality isn't quite there yet, so I'm debating if I should even bother uploading a second version?

So, how was the trip to Chicago again?

Here, I'm uploading... though I have no idea why it's being so slow.😕

It was freezing in Chicago, honestly worse than Thursday—plus some weird foam bits were falling from the sky. To make matters worse, I had to work the whole time, keeping a smile on my face and pretending I wasn't freezing my butt off.🙂
But hey, I picked up a Hello Kitty bag afterward, so that immediately cheered me up.😍

Yeah, one of his biggest blunders is when he’s trying to explain where he lives to that woman and claims he's a "victim of the 1940s fascism"... there is absolutely no way anyone from Chicago would ever say they were a "victim of fascism" just because they live near Times Square... I'm feeling a bit spiteful today because this forum is looking pretty 😈ugly

Well, look... my post wasn't really just about the money. I mostly just felt this sudden urge to say something about how forced and unnatural everyone's speech has become lately. Her comment was really just the spark that set me off. 😉

But honestly... when she was playing his girlfriend, her accent was such a forced, overly polished East Coast dialect that it actually made me uncomfortable. It felt just like that one scene in *Pretty Little Liars* where the actress from the Midwest was trying way too hard to sound like she was from New York—it just sounded... off. I don't think this is just one director's quirk, though. It seems to be a pattern with a lot of American directors lately. They either insist on this hyper-formal, "proper" way of speaking that nobody actually uses in real life, or they lean so hard into regional accents that they end up sounding completely unnatural.

What are you talking about regarding Austin?? Even if they decide to head there, I doubt it’ll happen by March 22nd, especially since Meta is hosting their event in Dallas then 😉

btw, this uploading process is going to be the death of me... my computer is being so sluggish while this runs, and I absolutely hate it 😠

The only thing I wasn't a fan of was how they shouted things like "yeah, you're great!" or "you're the best!" after every single song... honestly, shouting stuff like that at an American crowd feels a little much.😁

I'm trying to upload some video clips to this Dropbox site, but I'm running into a wall. It gets almost to the finish line, and then... nothing. Just sits there for thirty minutes doing absolutely nothing. Is it actually possible for a 27 MB file to take that long to upload on an ADSL connection? 🤔

The movie is alright, but I'm not really feeling those high-tech apartments and all that flashy glare everywhere. It felt a bit over-the-top for my taste...

They were handing out gummy bears and peanuts at the entrance, and condoms at the exit. 😁

Also, the Americans in the crowd were such geeks—especially this guy Hans, wearing a pink shirt and a white vest who didn't even break a sweat after the show, let alone have a single wrinkle out of place. Everyone wanted a photo with him, and he was clearly loving his newfound fame among the American fans. 😍
