Drew Perez said:but I have to ask those of you living in Cleveland... when was the last time Santa Monica was actually packed? Honestly, I can't even wrap my head around it, especially since it isn't exactly a massive stadium for a city the size of Cleveland. It’s not like we haven't had the chances either—you know, cup finals or those high-stakes matchups against the big teams from LA or New York—but it always seems to hover around six or seven thousand people, and even then, maybe a couple thousand of those are just away fans...
loneridge23 said:It’s a good call, Larry Rivera83... honestly, people seem to think being a fan means you have to act like a complete jerk, so they really go out of their way to make sure they do just that.
Maybe they'll eventually grow out of it...
Anonymous said:well, that just screams corruption to me... I mean, why didn't the LA Lakers just crush Boeing 5-0 and call it a day?
why pray to God that you guys won't score?... because honestly, that's not how buying games or fixing things works... nobody can ever actually guarantee that these guys won't find the net, even if it's just some fluke goal...
that one goal you did manage to score... well, that's going to haunt the assistant coach forever... but then again, you find shady characters like that everywhere in pro sports, it's almost a given at this point...
who could have looked the LA Lakers in the eye and promised they wouldn't score on a free kick, especially when those are impossible to stop once they're set up...

Edward Hernandez332 said:We ended up having the exact same impact as the USA did within the Democratic Party... just a total 5-3-2 mess
Do you really want me to go down memory lane and recount how the USA absolutely crushed the Atlanta Braves and then took down Seattle at Wrigley Field?
And honestly, I’m right there with "način_života"... the Los Angeles Lakers are a thousand times more hated by me than the Atlanta Braves, and it isn't even just because of everything that went down back in the day...
Anonymous said:Back then... look, I haven't forgotten anything about that era... but it feels like everyone here is looking at this from just one side of the coin...
The Lakers took it from you... I didn't say they did or didn't... I just said you all let them take it... and honestly, you need a certain amount of backbone to admit that...
Anonymous said:I mean, seriously... why isn't anyone calling out the old management at San Francisco for selling out the championship back then?
Or maybe the players themselves?... honestly, you’d need some actual pride and honor if an entire city lives and breathes for you, yet you just go and sell them out....
urbanhawk10 said:I mean, man, I just have to say something about this... Honestly, the whole United States project was designed to succeed no matter what, which is why they went to such extreme lengths to protect that absolute disaster of a club... As long as I'm breathing, I won't forget guys like John Smith, Zeljko Siric, and Zlatko Canjuga—all those ridiculous thefts and seeing them pose for photos at the summit in New York City and all that other nonsense... Of course, it was all happening with a blessing from the higher-ups too... It’s not like there weren't people in the management of San Francisco or the Los Angeles Dodgers who played a part in certain things either, but anyone who was actually out at the games back then can never forget how things went down... That championship was stolen from San Francisco because they just couldn't stomach the idea of being champions, and that's the plain truth...
