The story is more or less the same, and it even includes a few scenes lifted directly from the original.

If you ask me, the movie is highly entertaining—bloody kills and an excellent killer. Honestly, I find it slightly better than the original. It’s true that the film is full of clichés and naive, stupid moments, but please, what slasher isn't? If you don't enjoy Friday the 13th, Scream, or similar films, then don't bother watching this.

I remember watching this when I was a kid, and honestly, it’s hard to wrap my head around. They took a character defined by brutal violence—someone who spends most of his time killing and gutting people—and basically turned him into a He-Man clone just to appeal to little kids. It's ridiculous. 🤣

The artwork isn't exactly great, but I'm convinced this will make an excellent film and serve as solid hype for the upcoming remake.

In my view, the first installment stands as one of the premier horror films ever made. The second part is mediocre at best due to several nonsensical scenes. The third film is excellent, even if they began playing fast and loose with the logic there. The fourth is entertaining, while the fifth falls slightly short. The sixth is acceptable if viewed merely as mindless, juvenile fun (Freddy playing Nintendo 😂). The seventh is superb and restores the true horror atmosphere, whereas Freddy vs. Jason is nothing more than a decent slasher flick. To summarize, this series surpasses both Halloween and Friday the 13th; Freddy remains a far superior icon to Jason or Michael.😁

I watched it. The animation and the overall atmosphere are easily the strongest elements of this film, but the actual plot left me feeling unimpressed.

It's decent trash, but I've seen much harder hitters.

Does the production team behind this have any actual connection to the caliber of Batman: The Animated Series? I grew up watching it, and frankly, it remains a masterpiece even by today's standards.
