I suppose I should add—if I may be so bold—that once the concert wrapped up, a group consisting of the members of Peach Pita, My Buddy Moose, Death Disca, Lunara, Marshmallows, and Casual Elvis—along with a few other notable folks from the community—gathered in a backyard over in Austin... they spent the evening beltng out classic country standards and absolutely demolishing a backyard grill. Well, alright, perhaps not everyone was singing—some were likely just listening—but I suspect everyone would gladly pay good money for that BBQ... 😁
I have a deep appreciation for country music. Though, I don't actually play any of it. I'm much more drawn to those indie-rock types—no offense intended, of course. I suppose I’m a bit of a hypocrite... just a total hypocritical drunk standing in the middle of a punk rock show. 😁
